What would an election be without faux scientist Al Gore scaremongering about “Global Warming.” Yep, the false prophet is back and his rhetoric is once again warming the planet. Gore was on his TV channel that no one watches bloviating about the upcoming presidential election. He expressed dismay about the lack of “Climate Change” questions being directed at Republicans in any of the recent debates. He went on to mischaracterize various natural disasters around the world as “climate related disasters” and even trotted out the debunked notion that Arctic ice is melting at a record rate. He then finished by warning that civilization itself is at risk if we don’t get serious about his phony science.

Though in recent years the climate change issue has disappeared from the forefront (and former Vice President Al Gore has found himself criticizing Democratic President Barack Obama for not being more aggressive on the issue), on Tuesday night’s coverage of the New Hampshire primary on Current TV, Gore insisted it should be part of the 2012 campaign.

“It should be in the presidential campaign,” Gore said. “And it is not at present. Not a single question was asked about climate in any of the numerous, multitudinous debates that these candidates have had. And yet in the year 2011, the United States of America had more than 12 climate-related disasters that cost over a billion dollars. The state of Texas has had the worst drought in its history. It is climate-related. Out of 254 counties, 252 are on fire. 2010 was the hottest year ever recorded. We have record melting of the volume of ice in the Arctic Ocean, dramatically powerful storms, in Pakistan, Australia, the Northeast. Record flooding in the Mississippi and the Missouri Rivers, and the list goes on. And it’s consistent with what the scientific community has been warning us.”

Gore added that the future of civilization was “at risk” if the issue continues to be neglected.

I actually think we should have a national dialogue about global warming. Maybe we can come to a consensus on how best to get Al Gore to shut the f*ck about it.

Prince Charles says human beings must transform their lifestyles, stop mass consumption, and tackle Global Warming or face extinction. Keep in mind the asshole giving this warning is a f*cking prince who lives in a palace. A prince is warning about mass consumption.

Referring to himself as “an endangered species”, he warned that the world is already in the “sixth extinction event”, with species dying out at a much faster rate than at any time since the death of most of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago.

Despite campaigning for years on global warming, he said climate change was not the only problem but merely speeding up the “rapacious” destruction of natural resources like water, land and food that humans need to survive.

The Prince said if the world carries on “business as usual” then the human race itself could be in danger.

This was the highlight of my day. Al Gore is enraged that people don’t believe his sorry ass climate propaganda. You could practically see the spittle flying as he cursed and screeched.

The debate about global warming has reached ridiculous proportions and is full of micro-thin half-truths and misunderstandings. I am a scientist who was on the carbon gravy train, understands the evidence, was once an alarmist, but am now a skeptic. Watching this issue unfold has been amusing but, lately, worrying. This issue is tearing society apart, making fools out of our politicians.

Let’s set a few things straight.

The whole idea that carbon dioxide is the main cause of the recent global warming is based on a guess that was proved false by empirical evidence during the 1990s. But the gravy train was too big, with too many jobs, industries, trading profits, political careers, and the possibility of world government and total control riding on the outcome. So rather than admit they were wrong, the governments, and their tame climate scientists, now outrageously maintain the fiction that carbon dioxide is a dangerous pollutant.

We all knew it would happen. But I’m surprised it happened this fast. The far left is already blaming the earthquake in Japan on “Climate Change.” They could at least wait until the aftershocks stop before making stuff up.

In a little-heeded warning issued at a 2009 conference on the subject, experts outlined a range of mechanisms by which climate change could already be causing more earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic activity.

“When the ice is lost, the earth’s crust bounces back up again and that triggers earthquakes, which trigger submarine landslides, which cause tsunamis,” Bill McGuire, professor at University College London, told Reuters.

Melting ice masses change the pressures on the underlying earth, which can lead to earthquakes and tsunamis, but that’s just the beginning. Rising seas also change the balance of mass across earth’s surface, putting new strain on old earthquake faults, and may have been partly to blame for the devastating 2004 tsunami that struck Southeast Asia, according to experts from the China Meteorological Administration.

Oh geez, here we go again.

Climate propagandist Al Gore is speaking out today via his blog, “Al’s Journal,” in a direct response to Bill O’Reilly’s challenge to him. O’Reilly was commenting the other night about the extreme cold in NYC and across the nation and wondered aloud what Al Gore would have to say about it. Of course, we all know what Al Gore would say about it which is exactly what the joke was. But, “Dr.” Al went ahead and gave a predictable response anyway.

Last week on his show Bill O’Reilly asked, “Why has southern New York turned into the tundra?” and then said he had a call into me. I appreciate the question.

As it turns out, the scientific community has been addressing this particular question for some time now and they say that increased heavy snowfalls are completely consistent with what they have been predicting as a consequence of man-made global warming:

“In fact, scientists have been warning for at least two decades that global warming could make snowstorms more severe. Snow has two simple ingredients: cold and moisture. Warmer air collects moisture like a sponge until it hits a patch of cold air. When temperatures dip below freezing, a lot of moisture creates a lot of snow.”

“A rise in global temperature can create all sorts of havoc, ranging from hotter dry spells to colder winters, along with increasingly violent storms, flooding, forest fires and loss of endangered species.”

The funny thing about climate extremists is that like conspiracy theorists nothing can disprove their beliefs. If we have a mild winter next year Al will say it’s because of global warming. If we have an extremely cold winter next year Al will say it’s global warming. If we have a hot summer it’s because of GW and if we have a mild summer it’s because of GW. No matter the weather it’s always global warming that is to blame. That’s not science that’s religion.

With every passing day the man-caused global warming narrative is proven false. And those who continue preaching it look all the more foolish. Take for instance an article from The Telegraph only a few days ago. It’s an explosive story that should have been front page news around the world, but wasn’t. It completely destroys a favorite talking point of the GW crowd. That the Himalayan glaciers are rapidly melting and we humans are the cause.

The UK’s Daily Mail has a great piece today about Global Warming, or rather the lack of it. What we initially read about in the ClimateGate emails has only been confirmed by the latest scientific data. The earth stopped warming about 15 years ago. Scientists know it, but only until recently have begun to admit it.

This inconvenient fact only makes the recent “Climate Change” summit in Cancun, Mexico all the more farcical. Of course, this entire thing was never about the climate to begin with. “Climate Change” is merely the latest vehicle by which to force the distribution of wealth from rich countries to poor countries.

Last week, halfway through yet another giant, 15,000delegate UN climate jamboree, being held this time in the tropical splendour of Cancun in Mexico, the Met Office was at it again.

Never mind that Britain, just as it was last winter and the winter before, was deep in the grip of a cold snap, which has seen some temperatures plummet to minus 20C, and that here 2010 has been the coolest year since 1996.

Globally, it insisted, 2010 was still on course to be the warmest or second warmest year since current records began.

But buried amid the details of those two Met Office statements 12 months apart lies a remarkable climbdown that has huge implications – not just for the Met Office, but for debate over climate change as a whole.

Read carefully with other official data, they conceal a truth that for some, to paraphrase former US VicePresident Al Gore, is really inconvenient: for the past 15 years, global warming has stopped.

I bet Al Gore is glad he made money on this scam while he could. He’s earned more than $100 million preaching a lie since leaving politics.

What you need to know from the latest phony Climate Change summit (try not to laugh):

Unless emissions are reduced dramatically in the next ten years the world is set to see temperatures rise by more than 4C (7.2F) by as early as the 2060s, causing floods, droughts and mass migration.

…Director of the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, said the only way to reduce global emissions enough, while allowing the poor nations to continue to grow, is to halt economic growth in the rich world over the next twenty years.

…politicians should consider a rationing system similar to the one introduced during the last “time of crisis” in the 1930s and 40s.

This could mean a limit on electricity so people are forced to turn the heating down, turn off the lights and replace old electrical goods like huge fridges with more efficient models. Food that has travelled from abroad may be limited and goods that require a lot of energy to manufacture.

Dr Myles Allen, of Oxford University’s Department of Physics, said this might not be enough. He said that if emissions do not come down quick enough even a slight change in temperature will be too rapid for ecosystems to keep up…

Bottom line? The crazies just keep getting crazier. I’m calling for an austerity program on climate research.
