CNN Hosts Palin Forum…With No Palin Supporters
How bizarre is this? CNN hosted a forum on Sarah Palin without a single Palin supporter. Can you imagine if Fox did a forum like this? They wouldn’t because it’s boring, pointless, and partisan. That of course is why CNN’s ratings are in the shitter across the board.

CNN’s Rick Sanchez Is A Drunk Driving Murderer
Since CNN’s Rick Sanchez likes to go on the air and talk shit about people and promote phony quotes from Rush Limbaugh, let’s look at what kind of guy Rick is…
On Dec. 10, 1990 one Rick Sanchez struck a pedestrian while leaving a Miami Dolphins game highly intoxicated. The man was left paralyzed and Sanchez fled the scene. He returned some two hours later and was subjected to a sobriety test. He blew a .15 — which is not just drunk, but asshole drunk.
Since Rick was a well known reporter in the Miami area, he was helped out by his cop friends and only charged with a DUI. The man who was left paralyzed by Rick’s drunk driving died 5 years later in a nursing home.
The moral of the story here is don’t go on television and smear other people when you’re a drunk driving murderer.

Video: Liberal Media Horrified At Chicago Rejection
This is hilarious. Listen to the shock and horror by the CNN anchor as it’s announced that Chicago will not get the Olympics. I suspect his shock is more about the denial of Obama than with the Olympics themselves.

Deepak Chopra: Terrorism Expert
Deepak Chopra is many things. He’s a favorite guru of the left, a prolific author, and a new age spiritual douche bag. However, CNN has given him yet another title — terrorism expert. Throughout the weekend, Chopra was on various CNN shows bloviating about the causes of the Mumbai terror attacks.
Like any good left-winger the real causes of the attacks were brushed aside in favor of the usual ‘blame America first’ rhetoric. Newly minted terrorism expert Deepak Chopra wearing his pink diamond studded glasses calmly explained that it’s America’s “War on Terror” that is to blame for the attacks in Mumbai. Had we not “alienated” Muslims over the last 8 years this would have never happened.
Chopra of course fails to consider the ongoing low intensity conflict between India and Pakistan over the disputed Kashmir region that pre-dates the Bush administration and is widely considered the primary source of terrorist activities in the area.
Furthermore, If any alienation of Muslims was happening it must have been under the Clinton administration since 9/11 was being planned at that time and only executed after Bush was elected.
It really is irresponsible for CNN or any other network to put forth a new age hippie like Deepak Chopra to talk about issues with which he knows nothing about.

Anderson Cooper Outed By Al Sharpton
While discussing James Dobson’s attacks on Barack Obama and the need to reach out to the Christian right, Al Sharpton said this to Anderson Cooper:
“I may have some very conservative personal feelings but I feel you have the right to live your life differently. I may think that what you do Anderson is gonna put you in Hell, but I’m gonna defend your right to get there.”
Cooper blushed before thanking Sharpton for his remarks. (See the video)

CNN’s Richard Quest Had Sex Toy In His Boot, Rope Around Genitals
When CNN’s Richard Quest was arrested early yesterday, he told police ‘I’ve got some meth in my pocket.’ It turns out he had a little more than that.
According to the NY Post, Quest was also found to have a rope around his neck that was tied to his genitals and a sex toy in his boot!
CNN personality Richard Quest was busted in Central Park early yesterday with some drugs in his pocket, a rope around his neck that was tied to his genitals, and a sex toy in his boot, law-enforcement sources said.
Quest, 46, was arrested at around 3:40 a.m. after a cop spotted him and another man inside the park near 64th Street, a police source said.
The criminal complaint against Quest said the park was closed at the time – something Quest should have known because of all the signs saying “Park Closed 1 a.m. to 6 a.m.”
Quest was initially busted for loitering, the source said. Aside from the oddly configured rope, the search also turned up a sex toy inside of his boot, and a small bag of methamphetamine in his left jacket pocket.
Quest agreed to 6-months in rehab in return for the charges being dropped provided he stays out of trouble and completes the program. He was released with no bail after spending most of the day in jail.
CBS To Outsource Reporting To CNN
From The NYT:
CBS, the home of the most celebrated news division in broadcasting, has been in discussions with Time Warner about a deal to outsource some of its news-gathering operations to CNN, two executives briefed on the matter said Monday.
Over the last decade, CNN has held intermittent talks with both ABC News and CBS News about various joint ventures. But during the last several months, talks with CBS have been revived and lately intensified, according to the executives who asked for anonymity because of the confidential nature of the negotiations.
Broadly speaking, the executives described conversations about reducing CBS’s news-gathering capacity while keeping its frontline personalities, like Katie Couric, the CBS Evening News anchor, and paying a fee to CNN to buy the cable network’s news feeds.
Another possibility, these people said, would be for CBS to keep its correspondents in certain regions but pair them with CNN crews.
