Obama To Skip 20 Year Anniversary Celebrations For Fall Of Communism
Marxist President Barack Obama is planning to skip the 20-year anniversary of the fall of Communism. He was personally invited by German Chancellor Merkel to attend the festivities in Berlin.
Such an occasion would provide the president with an opportunity to bask in the glory of America’s success in bringing an end to Communism, since he’s done nothing but apologize for his country since taking office.
Of course, when you have as many Reds in your administration as Obama does it’s kind of difficult to celebrate.

Gorbachev: Putin Represents Worst Of Communist Party in Soviet Union
In an explosive interview with the AP, former Russian president Mikhail Gorbachev had some very frank things to say about Vladimir Putin and his United Russia Party:
Mikhail Gorbachev says Vladimir Putin’s United Russia party is similar to "the worst of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union" and that Russia is today a country where the parliament and judiciary are not fully free.
Gorbachev also says the global economic crisis showed capitalism should be tempered with elements of the socialist system he played a critical role in sweeping away.
Kudos to Gorbachev for being intellectually honest about the political situation in Putin’s Russia. Putin has stacked every level of government with his KGB cronies and taken people’s rights away. Those who deny that Russia is backsliding rapidly into the sins of the past are either blind or just liars.
Interestingly enough, Gorbachev is viewed as a traitor by many Russians. They blame him for the fall of the Soviet Empire and look at him with disdain. Putin has gone out of his way to push this point of view while at the same time diminishing the crimes of Joseph Stalin.
Commie Propaganda Redux: Obama Style
Everyone should read the post by Warner Todd Hudson over at Red State. He compares the advertising propaganda surrounding Barack Obama with cold-war era communist propaganda. He makes a very compelling argument and offers side-by-side photo comparisons. It’s actually pretty amazing how similar some of the stuff is.
Here’s a little taste:
…The American press has traditionally been even harder on our politicians and government than even the average American. Since the first days of our country, the press has savaged, doubted, dug up dirt and attacked our politicians, seeming to never believe a word the pols say. From George Washington to George Bush, the press has been at odds with politicians. Yet, for some unexplainable reason, the pretentiousness and presumption of Barack Obama is being allowed to pass uncommented upon. The media especially is allowing him to make all sorts of claims that they should never allow anyone else to get away with. They are unquestioning with his claim to be the candidate of “change” and the candidate that will “reach across the aisle.” Neither claim can be substantiated by the man’s career thus far. He does not reach across the aisle and he is responsible for no great program of change. A properly skeptical press would ask for the proof of Obmam’s claims, but they merely smile and allow him to ramble on as if what he is saying is unassailable.
But the media is especially compliant where it concerns the Obama campaign’s graphic designs, displays that can be so easily compared to religious iconography or even old style communist propaganda. The overblown, obscenely reverential posters featuring Obama’s upturned face in Jesus-like poses have gone uncommented upon by what should be a hard-nosed, doubtful media. These over-the-top graphic images in the form of posters and campaign literature design are amazing for their obvious propagandistic style, yet the media seem not to find any reason to be off put by the absurdity of these graphics. Nor have they noticed the campaign art’s similarity to communist imagery. One can’t help but wonder why this blatant re-use of the graphic style used by Stalin, Hitler and Mao has raised not the slightest question in the minds of the American media?
I’m not trying to suggest that Barack Obama is a communist, but I think the way the media has behaved during this election so far is troubling to say the least. MSNBC has become the full-time propaganda arm of the Obama campaign and doesn’t even try to hide it.
It’s funny I read this article today, because ever since I saw Barack Obama standing behind that new seal of his I kept seeing images of cold war propaganda. I don’t think I’ve ever been as creeped out by anything in my life. It has such a “one world government” fascist feel to it.

China Considers Communist Party Branch in Space
China might not have a permanent presence in space yet, but the country’s rocket men are already thinking about setting up a Communist Party branch in the outer reaches.
Now 14-strong, the Chinese astronaut corps more than meets the party’s minimum requirement of at least three members for a branch.
China’s space communists would “carry out the regular activities of a Communist Party of China branch in space in the way we do on Earth,” Yang Liwei, the first Chinese astronaut to fly into space, was quoted by Xinhua as saying on the sidelines of the national party congress.
“Like foreign astronauts having their beliefs, we believe in communism, which is also a spiritual power,” he said. “We may not pray in the way our foreign counterparts do. But the common belief has made us more united in space, where there is no national boundary, to accomplish our missions.”
The questions I have are, What exactly are these “activities” that a communist party would carry out in space?
Is it really necessary to inject a political ideology into the space program?
What type of activities might a communist carry out in space that a capitalist would not?
Since China is becoming more Capitalist by the year, why must they hang on to the dying ideology of Communism?
