Where’s the NAACP? Where’s Al Sharpton? Where’s Jesse Jackson? Where’s Sheila Jackson Lee?

This is bad ass. If you watch Fox News at all you know who Jesse Watters is. He’s Bill O’Reilly’s producer and the guy who does those great ambush interviews for “The Factor.” He’s also the editor of FoxNation.com. Jesse was in D.C. over the weekend covering CPAC for Fox Nation.

As he was walking to the next event a lefty blogger from ThinkProgress tried to ambush him. An amused Watters began instructing him on the finer points of a successful ambush and told him his cell phone camera was “weak.” The question he had for Jesse was about as pathetic as you’re likely to see anywhere. George Soros just cut these fools a check for a $1 million and this is the best they can do?

I’m so glad CPAC gave Andrew Breitbart a full 30 minutes this year. He was hilarious as always.

Ron Paul delivered a rousing speech today at CPAC. He ripped the Fed, decried our foreign policy, lambasted the Patriot Act and post 9/11 “police state,” and called for a new tax code. The Paulnuts are certainly the most animated and unruly wing of the conservative movement, but I’m glad we have them. Yeah, they go a little Alex Jones kooky from time to time, but on the whole they’re a net positive. Ron Paul puts forth very provocative ideas that we conservatives need to be discussing. He expands the debate and makes us question things we might not otherwise question.

Former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson spoke about drug legalization and other common sense policies. Johnson is a Republican with heavy Libertarian leanings. Personally, I like the guy. I believe many of his ideas have a bright future within the Republican party.

We’ve extensively covered the burgeoning Pigford scandal that Andrew Breitbart and Lee Stranahan have been slowly uncovering. Eddie Slaughter, one of the original black farmers (an actual farmer), is one of the whistleblowers in the story. He joined Breitbart and Stranahan for the CPAC press conference about Pigford.

Donald Trump brought down the house at CPAC today. The place went wild when he declared “Ron Paul can’t get elected.” Half the crowd booed and half applauded. The entire speech was quite raucous. It’s hard for me to think of Trump as a legitimate presidential candidate at this point, but his rhetoric about China is spot on.
