Daily Kos: Sarah Palin Is Just A Creation Of GOPAC

September 3, 2008 · Filed Under sarah palin · Comment

The newest far left theory coming out of the stink hole known as Daily Kos is that Sarah Palin is nothing more than a creation of GOPAC, and if she gives a good speech tonight it’s due to her media training and experience as a pageant consultant.

But the reality is that you should expect not just a polished presentation from Palin tonight, but a stellar performance. Remember, this is someone who started out not only as a pageant contestant, but as an on-air personality for the local television station.

But it’s more than just media training. You also need to keep in mind that Palin is a creation of GOPAC, the Republican “farm team” organization that grew to prominence under now-disgraced putative presidential candidate Newt Gingrich.

It was under Gingrich’s direction that the organization became a one-stop shop for campaigns-in-a-can, where aspiring Republicans who coveted the trappings of power but just didn’t know what to say could turn for coaching, advice, and even scripted building blocks for entire speeches.

Now GOPAC’s got one of its own on the ticket, and you should expect her to deliver the goods every bit as much as they do. The speech-in-a-can can be expected to be a sterling product, smoothly and sympathetically delivered. Absent an unfortunate teleprompter accident, that is.

Based on the link provided in the post, it appears the only evidence of Palin being a so-called creation of GOPAC is that she’s on the alumni list. The only problem with that is nearly every Republican politician in America is on that list. I guess Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Gov. Bobby Jindal are also creations of GOPAC since they’re on the list as well.

GOPAC is not some sinister organization, they’re one of the largest Republican PAC’s in the country. GOPAC is just another bogeyman for the radical left to blame along with Karl Rove and Dick Cheney. On the positive side, the fact that the Kos Kids are grasping at such straws smacks of desperation. Much to their chagrin, they’ve been unable to find any real dirt on Palin and they can only fabricate so many stories before they over due it and cause real harm to Obama.

What’s really going to be fun tonight is watching Gov. Palin absolutely electrify the country with her speech and rock Obama back on his heels. Daily Kos, Huffington Post, and the rest of the fringe wackos are gonna be in tears when the McCain/Palin ticket becomes the real ‘Change We Can Believe In.’

Far Left Blogs Smear Palin’s Daughter

August 31, 2008 · Filed Under sarah palin · 6 Comments

It didn’t take long for the far left blogs led by the repugnant Daily Kos to smart smearing McCain’s running mate, Gov. Sarah Palin. Only it’s not just Palin that’s in their crosshairs, but Palin’s teenage daughter Bristol.

In a post titled “Sarah Palin Is Not The Mother“, a blogger using the name ArcXIX makes the totally unfounded allegation that Gov. Palin’s newborn with Down’s Syndrome really belongs to her daughter Bristol and she’s just covering for her daughter to avoid a scandal.

…Now, I’ve known liars in my life. Their single core problem is not with themselves, but those around them. If they’re never called out on their twisting of truths and fabrications, they simply continue to make larger lies.

Well, Sarah, I’m calling you a liar. And not even a good one. Trig Paxson Van Palin is not your son. He is your grandson. The sooner you come forward with this revelation to the public, the better.

The left-wing hate site has even taken to posting pictures of Bristol which they claim show a “baby bump” and pictures of Gov. Palin supposedly without one.

Amanda Carpenter over at Townhall points out that as usual the Kos kids have their facts wrong.

Not only is the DailyKos disgustingly inspecting Bristol’s midriff with all the fervor of LA paparrazzi examining J-Lo’s or Jennifer Aniston’s washboard stomachs for evidence of a “bump” DailyKos is is wrong on when the photo was taken. It was taken, and published, by the Anchorage Daily News in 2006. Baby Trig, a Down’s Syndrome child, was born on April 18, 2008. That’s a long time for a teen girl to be carrying a “bump” which looks nothing more than the curve of a tight sweater.

Another point the Kos smear machine leaves out is that the older a mother is the more likely she is to give birth to a Down’s Syndrome baby. Gov. Palin is 44 years old which would have made her pregancy high risk.

Within minutes of John McCain’s announcement that Sarah Palin would be his running mate, the far left hate blogs kicked into high gear. From now until election day you can count on the liars on the left to smear Gov. Palin and her entire family in every conceivable way.

How can an event hosted by Progress Now and Daily Kos be ‘nonpartisan’? Do you think the left could have possibly lived up to liberal stereotypes any better than by doing Yoga at the convention?

Olbermann Blogs About Milbank On Daily Kos

olbermann lg Olbermann Blogs About Milbank On Daily Kos

Keith Olbermann is blogging on Daily Kos again. This time he’s making amends to his loony left base about not publicly lynching long-time shill Dana Milbank for having the nerve to be critical of the messiah Barack Obama. When Dana Milbank went off the reservation and wrote a piece calling Obama out for his arrogance, the Daily Kos and other lefty blogs went wild.

Even though Milbank is a long time committed far left shill for the Democratic party, he committed the ultimate sin which one doesn’t simply come back from. Christians aren’t supposed to takeĀ  the lord’s name in vain, and Democrats aren’t supposed to take his holiness Barack Obama’s name in vain either.

So Olbermann felt he needed to respond directly to his core audience at Daily Kos about Milbank:

Dana Milbank of The Washington Post, who notified us today that after four years appearing with us, he had accepted another television offer.
This saved your crack Countdown staff an increasingly difficult decision.
For nearly a week we’d been waiting for him to offer a correction or an explanation for his column from last week in which he apparently reported an Obama quote without a full context turned the meaning of the quote inside-out.
Then he called criticisms of his column “whines” even though the dispute was over whether Obama said the self-deprecating: “It has become increasingly clear in my travel, the campaign — that the crowds, the enthusiasm, 200,000 people in Berlin, is not about me at all. It’s about America. I have just become a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions” — or only the part about “I have just become a symbol…”
We had decided not to have Dana on this news-hour again until this was cleared up, and, sadly after some very happy years, he’s apparently chosen to make that cloud permanent.
Good luck, Dana.

As he usually does, Keith thought he would calm the waters over at Kos by giving the lefties a heads-up about what he would say on his broadcast later in the evening.

I’m pretty sure Keith Olbermann is the first pundit (such as he is) that’s wholly owned and operated by the far left blogosphere.

UPDATE:

Dana Milbank talks to Fishbowl D.C. about his new gig on CNN and not appearing on Keith Olbermann anymore.

“The CNN contract was negotiated long before the Obama column. It’s just that CNN’s a better fit for me and my philosophy of holding all parties to account.”

HA! Maybe it’s just me, but that sure as hell seems like a swipe at Olbermann for being in the tank for Obama.

How The Left Really Feels About Veterans Day

November 12, 2007 · Filed Under Liberals, U.S. News · 4 Comments

From Daily Kos:

Its time to be done with the ridiculous idea that there are some sort of politically neutral expressions of “patriotism.” Patriotism is a consciously cultivated mindset intended to secure popular consent for military actions that might otherwise be unpopular. The US is a hyper-patriotic country because it is an imperialist country that is constantly engaged in foreign adventures that defend corporate profitability but that waste precious lives of American servicemembers.

The American Legion and VFW are, first and foremost, lobbies for militarism. Veterans Day is essentially an annual exercise in the cynical manipulation of the grief that war brings into our lives in order to secure support for ongoing and future wars by wrapping the whole enterprise in the bullshit rhetoric of “military honor.”

The exclusion of IVAW, VfP and MFSO just rips away the fraudulent veil that conceals the real purpose of this whole celebration.

I understand that veterans and their families have a desire to have their service publicly honored. But this whole framing perpetuates all sorts of untruths about the nature of America’s role in the world, the role of the military in particular, and the question of who profits and who pays and why. When Viet Nam Vets Against the War threw their medals away on the steps of the capitol it was not just a strident spasm of extremis, it was a recognition of the insidious role of all this ritual of honoring participation in mass murder for profit and the aggrandizement of power that is war. They understood that so long as the veneer of honor remained attached to the exercise in mass criminality that was the war in Viet Nam, that the war would continue. Too many progressives have been fooled by lies about protesters spitting on vets into thinking that the less on of that era is that we need to fall all over ourselves proving our patriotism. The real less on is that the anti-war movement so fundamentally challenged the legitimacy of the war machine that they had to construct an elaborate lie about us in order to restore it.

Uncomfortable as it may make some feel to hear it, there is nothing honorable about following orders that shouldn’t have been given or fighting in wars that shouldn’t have been fought. Loyalty to governments that don’t deserve it should not be celebrated. It is time to shift our frame and begin to honor those who RESIST imperial wars, whether they are soldiers or civilians.

You might be tempted to think these comments don’t represent the views of everyone on the far-left, but you would be wrong. It’s laughable when left-wingers claim they “support the troops,” because nothing could be further from the truth.

I’m not talking about Democrats in general, I’m talking about the far-left which is slowly taking over the Democratic party. These people don’t believe in fighting wars and think soldiers who fight in wars are murderers. The kind of vile, anti-American crap that you see above is the true feelings of the so-called “progressives” better known as the “nutroots.”

What they really are is a bunch of despicable people that have no right to live here. They are a disgrace to everything our country stands for and I despise them.

GOP Staffer Confronts Anti-War Thug

October 15, 2007 · Filed Under Liberals, Politics, Video · Comment

Trent Wisecup, Rep. Joe Knollenberg’s (R-Mich.) chief of staff, had a tense run-in with Bruce Fealk, an anti-war activist from MoveOn.org, over the weekend, and it’s all on video.

Wisecup tells Fealk that he is “un-American,” and says, “You’re not a citizen, you’re a political hack.”

Fealk and the rest of the douchebags at MoveOn.org are nothing but political thugs who will stop at nothing to hurt the war effort and damage this country. These “phony Americans” have nothing to add to any discussion and only seek to impose their radical agenda on the country.

It really is a shame that the Democratic party has been taken over by a bunch of character assassins and bullies. It’s about time someone called these people out for the cretins they are.
