Greg Gutfeld made an appearance on Imus this morning. He was very funny as usual. He talked about being surrounded by “left wing pinko Commies” when he was going to school at Berkeley.

Kudos to The Right Scoop for pointing out this little gem. I like Ron Paul…sometimes. I live in his district and like many people here we frequently go from proud of Paul to embarrassed and then back again. When it comes to fiscal policy the man knows what he’s talking about. When it comes to national security and foreign policy he’s a total nut.

Don Imus’s new show debut today on Fox Business — Beck was one of his guests.

Here we go again.

Don Imus will return to the airwaves Dec. 3 on New York’s WABC-AM, only nine months after being pulled from the airwaves over racist comments. He called the Rutgers University’s women’s basketball team “nappy-headed hos” on the air, sparking a national furor.

Imus will return with his longtime newsman, Charles McCord, and other members of his morning team. His show will replace the morning team of Curtis Sliwa and Ron Kuby on the Citadel Broadcasting-owned station.

Prospects of Imus’ return, anticipated for months, have outraged critics including the National Association of Black Journalists and the National Organization for Women, who said the idea of him coming back to the airwaves months after he was fired is nearly as insulting as the comments that drove him off the air.

Rev. Al Sharpton, one of the strongest voices calling for the shock jock’s firing, said Imus had a right to make a living and could return to radio.

In a dramatic and dazzling career rebound, controversial radio host Don Imus has secured a deal returning him to the airwaves on December 3rd.

“Imus In The Morning” will make a high-impact resurrection on WABC in New York City, top sources reveal.

“We’ll have him on a standard 40-second delay,” a studio source explains. “Don is rested, humbled, and ready for war!”

Specific terms of the deal will not be released, but the host, who was fired by CBS and MSNBC after making disparaging comments about the Rutgers women’s basketball team, has inked a eight-figure, multiyear contract with WABC parent company, CITADEL BROADCASTING.
