I know she’s without a doubt one of the most radical, racist, and extreme left wingers in the entire Congress. Therefore, whatever she’s talking about can’t be good. I also don’t get what blacks expect Obama to do. When the economy is bad for the entire country it’s always a little worse in poor urban communities. The president is a jobs killer. He’s not creating jobs for anyone so I don’t know what they expect him to do for the black community. We can’t afford to give more free handouts (although the CBC would be love to do it).

Secondly, I think this threat of blacks staying home on election day is a total bluff. I don’t buy a word of it. It’s simply a reflex for the vast majority of blacks to vote for Obama. I literally don’t know a single black person who didn’t vote for Obama. But if the black community was really serious about improving their conditions they’d stop electing left wingers at the local level. But that’s an entirely different discussion.

America Loses AAA Credit Rating For First Time In 70 Years

Business News

World News

Business

credit downgrade

credit rating

debt crisis

Economy

s&p

us credit downgrade

From WSJ: A cornerstone of the global financial system was shaken Friday when officials at ratings firm Standard & Poor’s said U.S. Treasury debt no longer deserved to be considered among the safest investments in the world. It downgraded long-term U.S. debt to AA+, a score that ranks below more than a dozen governments’, including Liechtenstein’s, and on par with Belgium’s and New Zealand’s. S&P also put the new grade on “negative outlook,” meaning the U.S. has little chance of regaining the top rating in the near term.

…A key concern will be whether the appetite for U.S. debt might change among foreign investors, in particular China, the world’s largest foreign holder of U.S. Treasurys. In 1945, foreigners owned just 1% of U.S. Treasurys; today they own a record high 46%, according to research done by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

The downgrade from S&P has been brewing for months. S&P’s sovereign debt team, led by company veteran David T. Beers, had grown increasingly skeptical that Washington policy makers would make significant progress in reducing the deficit, given the tortured talks over raising the debt ceiling. In recent warnings, the company said Washington should strive to reduce the deficit by $4 trillion over 10 years, suggesting anything less would be insufficient.

And far left loons like Paul Krugman continue to argue that America should spend even more money.

Video: Al Franken Gets Dramatic On Debt Ceiling Debate

Liberals

Video

al franken

debt ceiling

Economy

far-left

Here’s left wing loon Al Franken making an ass out of himself on the Senate floor.

Here’s left wing loon Al Franken making an ass out of himself on the Senate floor.

Video: How Public Sector Unions Are Bankrupting The Country

Economy

Liberals

Business

labor unions

public sector unions

Video

(H/T The Blaze)

(H/T The Blaze)

Rep.
