Kudos to Bill O’Reilly for calling out the far right over their attacks on JC Penney for hiring Ellen Degeneres. This kind of thing is disgusting. These far right groups need to get over it. Gay people are not going anywhere. These are the same totalitarian tactics the left uses to silence people they disagree with. Let me be clear, I don’t agree with Ellen’s politics at all. She’s a big time lefty. But unlike Rosie O’Donnell, Ellen is not mean spirited and ugly towards people who disagree with her. Secondly, JC Penney is not doing anything political. They simply hired a popular female talk show host to help them sell clothes. If you don’t like it then don’t shop there.

Being reflexively against anything a gay person is participating in is not Conservative, Republican, or even American. It’s actually the exact opposite of all those things. It’s bigoted.

Here’s Will Smith’s 9-year old daughter Willow. Ellen interviewed her and then she performed her hit single “Whip My Hair” for the first time on television. I still can’t believe this girl is so young. She’s an amazing performer.

Professional jerk Perez Hilton showed up on Ellen to announce that he’s turning over a new leaf. He was oddly shocked to discover that people think he’s an asshole and a hypocrite. He’s been speaking out against gay bullying when he’s viciously outed gay celebrities in the past. He outed singer Lance Bass and actor Neil Patrick Harris among others.
