stuart_smalley_sitting Al Franken Still Trying To Steal Election

Stuart Smalley Al Franken is about to lose the senate race in Minnesota to incumbent republican Norm Coleman. So magically, another 200 ballots have appeared that were lost — but are now found.

The fact that this yahoo is anywhere near becoming a senator is chilling to say the least.

HuffPo Blogger: Why Can’t Everyone Think Like Us?

November 7, 2008 · Filed Under Election 2008 · 3 Comments

As soon as I get on board with supporting our new president as any American should, I read something from the morons at the Huffington Post and that warm sense of patriotic bipartisanship washes away.

My biggest beef with an Obama presidency is not so much with Obama himself, but the far-left pinkos he empowers — people like HuffPo blogger Evan Handler.

Here’s Evan’s take on the election:

It’s good! It’s great! It’s all fantastic, and I’m thrilled! Really. I do mean it. But something seems to be escaping our attention amidst the exaltation. In spite of the wars, the lies, the torture, the stacking of the courts, and the rollbacks to civil liberties; in spite of the religious fundamentalism, the fanaticism, and the utter disdain toward the population that’s been expressed; in spite of the Katrina fiasco, the wire tapping, and the raping and pillaging of our economy for corporate gain (not to mention the ridiculousness and horrendous idiocy of the Republican campaign, including the Palin monstrosity) 56 million, 378 thousand, 316 Americans still voted for the other side.

To humanize that just a bit, that means that 56,378,316 individuals waited in line just as long as you did, and worked just as hard as anyone else, to try to make sure that Barack Obama would not become president of the United States. I don’t know about you, but that scares the shit out of me.

That is precisely the way the radical left looks at the world. They want a uniformity of thought which is why they try to silence any opposing viewpoints. They can’t understand why everyone doesn’t share their radical left-wing view of the world.

Evan goes on to write:

…if you’ve got some money stashed away in these economically stormy days, if you’ve got some major purchases anywhere on your horizon, time them out for the first ninety days of the new administration. Need a washer/dryer or an automobile? Thinking of buying a new home? Want to get back into the stock market? Hold off ’till after January 20th, and let the numbers show sudden economic improvement during the first three months of a new Democratic majority. Because I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that those 56,378,316 misguided souls aren’t the most sophisticated sailors on the sea.

I’m not suggesting we’d be successfully addressing any of the serious issues that need to be sorted out. But I am thinking that, if they’re crass enough, and easily hoodwinked enough, to have voted Republican after the last eight years, we might as well do a little psychological manipulation of our own. We might not be able to win their hearts and minds, or erase whatever bigotry led them to vote as they did. But we should be able to outwit them. Let ‘em read a few positive economic headlines just as they’re fearing the wrath of God is about to drop down upon us. Let ‘em think that, even if the “Godless,” “unreal” Americans have prevailed, it might be good for their pocketbooks. And then, maybe then, they might climb aboard the Peace Train.

I wish Evan’s incredibly cynical and misguided views were some kind of anomaly, but they’re not. The idea that anyone who voted against Obama is either stupid, racist, or both is shared by a large segment of the left.

The “liberal” party that is supposed to be all about tolerance and acceptance is actually the least tolerant among us. If you don’t vote like them and think like them, they don’t wanna have anything to do with you.

Which is why I think many well intentioned Americans who voted for Obama are gonna live to regret that decision. The luntatics have been let out of the asylum.

Barack Obama’s New Party Ties

October 20, 2008 · Filed Under Barack Obama · Comment

cheobama1 Barack Obamas New Party Ties

Stanley Kurtz digs deep and reveals the truth about Barack Obama’s ties to the ultra far-left ‘New Party’ in Chicago. He was in fact a member of the New Party and was endorsed by them when he first ran for the Illinois State Senate back in 1995-1996.

During his first campaign for the Illinois state senate in 1995-96, Barack Obama was a member of, and was endorsed by, the far-left New Party. Obama’s New Party ties give the lie to his claim to be a post-partisan, post-ideological pragmatist. Particularly in Chicago, the New Party functioned as the electoral arm of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). So despite repeated attempts to distance himself from ACORN, Obama’s New Party ties raise disturbing questions about his links to those proudly militant leftists. The media’s near-total silence on this critical element of Obama’s past is deeply irresponsible.

Has there ever been a candidate who surrounded himself with more Commie Pinkos than this guy?

Were The McCain Protesters Using MSNBC Badges?

September 5, 2008 · Filed Under MSNBC, Scandal · Comment

msnbc_secrets Were The McCain Protesters Using MSNBC Badges?

Rumors are swirling around the Internet that the morons from Code Pink who interrupted John McCain’s speech last night were able to get in to the convention hall using MSNBC badges. It was well publicized that security was extremely tight at the convention and badges were individually bar coded, so did someone at MSNBC give those lunatics badges?

Shay over at Booker Rising has some very interesting details on this:

Sen. McCain’s speech kept getting interrupted early on with “USA, USA” chants by convention attendees. There were two or three anti-war protesters, who were located in one of the sections behind the stage. They managed to get to the second level of the convention hall, which they couldn’t have done without a media outlet providing them with credentials because security tightened after Day 1.

I took the shuttle bus back to Minneapolis, and I overheard a convention organizer named Phil telling a convention delegate that the protesters on Wednesday night got through because of media credentials that were traced back to MSNBC (he told her that each credential has an individual bar code for each convention invitee). They suspect MSNBC this time as well.

Shay writes a pretty detailed account of his experience at the convention and the above gem was included in that. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if those scumbags at NBC did something like that. NBC officially stopped being a news organization a while back, and are now simply an extension of the far left of the Democratic Party.

Can you imagine the outcry if Fox News would have given passes to some anti-Obama group so they could raise a ruckus? The far left would have gone wild and called for prosecuting the staffers responsible for handing out the badges.

What pathetic as*holes.

Clooney Encouraging Obama To Be More “Pro-Palestinian”

August 12, 2008 · Filed Under Barack Obama, Hollywood · Comment

clooney_obama Clooney Encouraging Obama To Be More Pro-Palestinian

It looks like Barack Obama is once again associating with far left extremists. The British press is reporting that actor George Clooney is an “unofficial adviser” to Barack Obama. The two regularly text and email each other and talk by phone at least twice a week.

Clooney allegedly gives Obama advice on everything from public speaking to body language, but most frequently his advice is related to policy — Middle East policy.

One thing this country doesn’t need is a radical left-winger like George Clooney giving anyone advice on foreign policy. According to The Daily Mail, Clooney has been encouraging Obama to be more “pro-Palestinian” in his approach to the Middle East and to unconditionally withdraw from Iraq.

‘George is pushing him to be more “balanced” on issues such as US relations with Israel.

‘George is pro-Palestinian. And he is also urging Barack to withdraw unconditionally from Iraq if he wins.

This is yet another example of Barack Obama surrounding himself radical left-wingers who espouse dangerous viewpoints. He’s going to have to get a second bus to throw people under if this keeps up.

It’s not a coincidence that Barack Obama has literally surrounded himself radical left-wing appeasers his entire professional life.

Abandon Iraq, abandon Israel, and throw in with Hamas. Now that’s change we can believe in.

Olbermann Blogs About Milbank On Daily Kos

olbermann_lg Olbermann Blogs About Milbank On Daily Kos

Keith Olbermann is blogging on Daily Kos again. This time he’s making amends to his loony left base about not publicly lynching long-time shill Dana Milbank for having the nerve to be critical of the messiah Barack Obama. When Dana Milbank went off the reservation and wrote a piece calling Obama out for his arrogance, the Daily Kos and other lefty blogs went wild.

Even though Milbank is a long time committed far left shill for the Democratic party, he committed the ultimate sin which one doesn’t simply come back from. Christians aren’t supposed to take  the lord’s name in vain, and Democrats aren’t supposed to take his holiness Barack Obama’s name in vain either.

So Olbermann felt he needed to respond directly to his core audience at Daily Kos about Milbank:

Dana Milbank of The Washington Post, who notified us today that after four years appearing with us, he had accepted another television offer.
This saved your crack Countdown staff an increasingly difficult decision.
For nearly a week we’d been waiting for him to offer a correction or an explanation for his column from last week in which he apparently reported an Obama quote without a full context turned the meaning of the quote inside-out.
Then he called criticisms of his column “whines” even though the dispute was over whether Obama said the self-deprecating: “It has become increasingly clear in my travel, the campaign — that the crowds, the enthusiasm, 200,000 people in Berlin, is not about me at all. It’s about America. I have just become a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions” — or only the part about “I have just become a symbol…”
We had decided not to have Dana on this news-hour again until this was cleared up, and, sadly after some very happy years, he’s apparently chosen to make that cloud permanent.
Good luck, Dana.

As he usually does, Keith thought he would calm the waters over at Kos by giving the lefties a heads-up about what he would say on his broadcast later in the evening.

I’m pretty sure Keith Olbermann is the first pundit (such as he is) that’s wholly owned and operated by the far left blogosphere.

UPDATE:

Dana Milbank talks to Fishbowl D.C. about his new gig on CNN and not appearing on Keith Olbermann anymore.

“The CNN contract was negotiated long before the Obama column. It’s just that CNN’s a better fit for me and my philosophy of holding all parties to account.”

HA! Maybe it’s just me, but that sure as hell seems like a swipe at Olbermann for being in the tank for Obama.

House Passes FISA Bill—With Telecom Immunity

June 20, 2008 · Filed Under Congress, U.S. News · Comment

From the L.A. Times:

The House today easily approved a compromise bill setting new electronic surveillance rules that effectively shield telecommunications companies from lawsuits arising from the government’s terrorism-era warrantless eavesdropping on phone and computer lines in this country.

The bill, which was passed on a 293-129 vote, does more than just protect the telecoms. The update to the 30-year-old Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act is an attempt to balance privacy rights with the government’s responsibility to protect the country against attack, taking into account changes in telecommunications technologies.

It’s incredible how much of a fight the Democrats put up against the FISA bill. This was all about politics from day one, and had nothing to do with “civil liberties.” Of all the battles that could have been waged, for some reason it was this one they chose.

It’s boils down to basic common sense. The NSA asked the telecom companies for help in gathering data and intercepting phone calls. The Justice Department sent them letters assuring them that if they agreed to help, they would face no legal issues should the program become public.

Then when it did leak, the Democrats and their “nutroots” supporters wanted to “hold the telecoms accountable” which roughly translated means, “sue them out of business.”

The telecom companies did the right thing after 9/11 by helping the intelligence community and they should not be punished for it.

The real purpose of “holding the telecoms accountable” was to have intelligence secrets revealed in open court with the hopes that some of it would be embarrassing and damaging to the Bush Administration.

Looks like the Bush haters lost–again.
