Bin Laden Mentor Condemns Fort Hood Shooting

November 16, 2009 · Filed Under U.S. News, War on Terror · Comment

From Wired:

The Ft. Hood shootings were so gruesome and inhuman, even Osama Bin Laden’s former spiritual mentor is condemning them — calling the massacre that killed 13 “irrational” and “empty of thought,” according to a translation provided to Danger Room by the NEFA Foundation.

Salman Al-Awdah, a Saudi cleric who played an influential role in Bin Laden’s early radicalism, made the statement during an appearance on his “Life is a Word” show on MBC, a Saudi-owned news and entertainment satellite TV channel, later posting his remarks on his website, Islam Today.

“Incidents [such as the Ft. Hood shootings]  have bad consequences, and undoubtedly this man might have a psychological problem; he may be a psychiatrist but he [also] might have had psychological distress, as he was being commissioned to go to Iraq or Afghanistan, and he was capable of refusing to work whatever the consequences were.”

I guess he should have made it sexier by waiting until he was deployed and then strapping some C4 to his chest and walking into a chow hall.

Just because one radical jihadi condemns another radical jihadi doesn’t mean anything. They’re both crazy assholes that we need to kill.

Michael Bloomberg Welcomes 1993 WTC Plotter To City Hall

siraj-wahhaj

NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg decided to host a summit at city hall with Muslim leaders to discuss Fort Hood.

Among those invited was unindicted co-conspirator of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, Siraj Wahhaj. Wahhaj is a radical Imam who runs the Masjid Al-Taqws mosque in Brooklyn. He’s said in the past that the CIA and FBI are the real terrorists.

Bloomberg will do anything and pander to anyone to get attention. Doesn’t he realize these radical Muslims aren’t interested in talking? Wahhaj would cut his rich American throat in the blink of an eye if the opportunity presented itself.

While Bloomberg’s actions are indeed outrageous, I think the bigger outrage is that Siraj Wahhaj is still allowed to run his stupid mosque in Brooklyn. That asshole should be in jail or living in some other country.

Did Hasan Wire Money To Pakistan?

November 12, 2009 · Filed Under U.S. News · Comment

New questions are being raised about where all of Fort Hood terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan’s money has been going.

He earned more than $90,000 per year, but lived alone in a broken down apartment he rented for $300 a month. Investigators are combing through his financial records as we speak.

Better late than never — I guess.

Poll: 60% Want Fort Hood Investigated As Terrorist Act, 65% Want Death Penalty

November 11, 2009 · Filed Under U.S. News · Comment

A new poll from Rasmussen Reports shows 60% of Americans want the attack at Fort Hood investigated as a terrorist attack. Only 27% want it investigated as a civilian criminal act.

65% want Major Nidal Malik Hasan to get the death penalty.

76% believe the military should remove officers who attempt to contact terrorist organizations such as Al Qaeda:

Seventy-six percent (76%) believe the army should remove from duty all officers like Hasan who attempt to contact radical terrorist organizations such as al Qaeda. Only seven percent (7%) disagree. This general view was articulated by Senator Joseph Lieberman, who said, "If Hasan was showing signs, saying to people that he had become an Islamist extremist, the U.S. Army has to have a zero tolerance."

The fact that it’s even a debatable issue as whether a military officer should be removed for contacting Al Qaeda really speaks volumes about the sorry state of our country.

Political correctness is running wild in America and is creating a pre-9/11 mentality that will only cost more lives.

Hasan should have been dishonorably discharged years ago and possibly even prosecuted. It’s outrageous that a radical Muslim who spoke openly about his contempt for America would be allowed to continue serving in the Army.

Chicago Mayor Daley Blames Guns For Fort Hood Massacre

November 10, 2009 · Filed Under Politics · Comment

richard daley

It’s hard to get more corrupt or clueless than Chicago Mayor Richard Daley. His city has the toughest gun laws in the nation, while still managing to have the highest homicide rate.

Inner-city blacks are blowing each other way at record numbers in Daley’s Chicago with guns they’re not supposed to have.

Given this, it’s pretty amazing Mayor Daley would blame guns for the Fort Hood tragedy. Predictable, but still amazing.

Making guns the culprit (as absurd as that sounds) allows Daley and other radical leftists to absolve Islam and Muslims from any responsibility.

The left loves political correctness even when it kills them.

Nice going, Dick.

Obama: Don’t Jump To Conclusions On Shooting

November 6, 2009 · Filed Under U.S. News · Comment

From the AP:

President Barack Obama said Friday the entire nation is grieving for those slain at Fort Hood, and he urged people not to jump to conclusions while law enforcement officers investigate the shootings.

Obama met Friday morning with FBI Director Robert Mueller and other federal leaders to get an update on what they’ve learned. Thirteen people were killed and 30 others injured in the shooting rampage at the Texas Army post on Thursday. The suspected shooter is an Army psychiatrist; his motive remains unclear.

"We don’t know all the answers yet. And I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts," Obama said in a Rose Garden statement otherwise devoted to the economy.

"What we do know is that there are families, friends and an entire nation grieving right now for the valiant men and women who came under attack yesterday," the president said.

In other words, don’t jump to the conclusion that Hasan was a radical Muslim. We don’t want to get hasty and start blaming Islam! Sorry Barry, we know his religion was the cause — too late.

Get ready for the ultimate whitewash of this entire affair by the mainstream media and The White House.

Every conceivable reason will be given for why this traitor did what he did except the actual one — his religion.

It’s not politically correct to blame Islam for anything in America. The television and print media will go out of their way to avoid mentioning that Hasan is a Muslim. A Muslim who thought other Muslims should fight back against the U.S. military in Iraq and Afghanistan. A Muslim who made internet posts sympathetic to suicide bombers. A Muslim who yelled “Allahu Akbar” before gunning down 12 colleagues at Fort Hood.

With the exception of Fox News, the media is a disgrace.

Cop Who Shot Ft. Hood Gunman Identified As Sgt. Kimberly Munley

The hero cop who shot the Fort Hood gunman and brought the siege to an end has been identified as Sgt. Kimberly Munley. Munley had been specially trained in “active response tactics” and immediately rushed into the building and confronted the gunman.

Munley, who had been trained in active-response tactics, rushed into the building and confronted the shooter as he was turning a corner, Cone said.

"It was an amazing and an aggressive performance by this police officer," Cone said.

Munley was only a few feet from crazed Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan when she opened fire.

Wounded in the exchange of gunfire, Munley was reported in stable condition at a local hospital.

The idea behind “active response tactics” is that if you act aggressively to take out the shooter you will have less casualties.

I’m glad to see law enforcement tactics changing when it comes to crazed gunmen. Too many times, we see cops in SWAT gear standing around outside waiting for the killer to stop shooting people before they act. It’s absurd and only serve to increase the killer’s body count.
