Michele Bachmann was on “Fox News Sunday” this past weekend for what was a very informative interview. But things turned controversial near the end when Wallace asked her if she was a “flake.” The Congresswoman clearly found the question offensive, but gave a strong response.

Chris Wallace interviewed GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain this past Sunday on “Fox News Sunday.”

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) discussed his plans on “Fox News Sunday” for vigorous oversight of the Obama administration in the next Congress beginning this week. Issa is the incoming GOP Oversight Chairman.

Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer was on “Fox News Sunday” over the weekend to flog his new book. Even though I disagree with his judicial philosophy almost entirely, I still like hearing from him. Breyer has a superior intellect and is the caliber of person who should be serving on The Supreme Court. Again, I’m talking about his intelligence and grasp of the law not his interpretation of it. His belief that the Constitution is a living document that changes with the times is dead wrong in my view.

Rand Paul walked away the clear winner this past Sunday when he debated Democrat Jack Conway on “Fox News Sunday.” Both men are running in Kentucky for the US Senate. Rand Paul was cool, calm, and collected. Conway came away looking like a flip-flopping Obama stooge.

I was not impressed with Rep. John Boehner’s performance this morning on Fox News Sunday. The kind of rhetoric I’m hearing out of the GOP strongly suggests to me that they don’t get it. All this crap about going back to 2008 spending levels is just that — crap. Spending was too f*cking high in 2008. It’s also pretty clear that things will return to business as usual with earmarks once all the dust settles.

The more I read the so-called “Pledge” the angrier I get. These Republicans are in for a rude awakening if they think they’re going to pull another fast one on us. Boehner may find his ass on the chopping block if he doesn’t deliver in a big way should he become Speaker.
