A French energy study released today claims the world needs to invest $45 trillion dollars in the coming decades in order to half greenhouse gases by 2050.

According to the study, a large portion of that money would need to go towards building some 1,400 nuclear power plants and a vast expansion of wind power.

I think cutting pollution is an important thing for mankind. Everyone wants to live on a cleaner planet with better quality air. That said, I don’t buy into Al Gore’s junk science or any of the global warming hysteria that’s currently gripping the liberal elites of the world.

All the fear mongering and intimidation of scientists to walk in lock step with Al Gore is disgusting. The debate on global warming is not “settled” like Gore claims, and unless we now live in the former Soviet Union the debate should never stop.

Oh yeah, and Al Gore is not a scientist.
