James Traficant Is Out Of the Clink And Feisty As Ever
This via the Cleveland Plain Dealer:
Ohio — Seven years in prison doesn’t appear to have changed former U.S. Rep. James Traficant’s style whatsoever, and the 1,200 supporters who gathered at a Boardman banquet hall Sunday afternoon loved him for it.
"I was a quarterback. I was a congressman. Now I’m a convict," Traficant said, his signature toupee firmly back atop his head. "I wouldn’t change one single thing. And to the powerful enemies that I have, I’ll just say this to you: They had to cheat to convict me.
"
The crowd roared. After 15 minutes of remarks, hundreds swarmed the make-shift stage to shake his hand or ask for an autograph.At least to a certain segment of the Mahoning Valley, Traficant remains a hero who was wrongfully convicted. The former Democratic congressman remained coy about his plans, but told the crowd several times that he will make some major announcements in an interview with Greta Van Susteren on her show scheduled to air 10 p.m. Friday on the Fox News network.
Traficant is one of my all time favorite democrats. He may be one of the most crooked Congressmen ever, but he’s funny as hell. He’s not one of these crooked weasel politicians who gets caught and then slinks away in the dark of night. Traficant is as unapologetic and brash as ever — which is something you have to appreciate. He also has an awesome toupee.

This is pure catnip for atheists. As a Christian, I really hate it when nonsense like this is presented as “news.” It makes everyone involved look foolish — especially Christians.
Obviously, there’s no mystery. The bristles on the broom are flat enough and the broom is balanced enough to stand on its bristles. Again, as a Christian I don’t deny that God can be involved in many things — but this isn’t one of them.

I laughed my ass off for about five minutes when I saw this. Frankly, it’s the highlight of the week.
The Notorious P.A.B. (Patti’s alter ego) is represented in a lovely oil painting. If you don’t watch Fox News this painting will mean nothing to you.
If you watch Fox News, but don’t watch “Red Eye” at 3 AM during the week you probably won’t get the joke.
I’ll explain what’s in the painting, but if you don’t know what it means you’ll have to look it up yourself.

Here’s an audio clip of “The Great One” Mark Levin ripping into phony conservative David Frum on his radio show last night. Levin is absolutely right about Frum. He’s a phony who makes a living going on left-wing shows and throwing jabs at his own party. Frum’s website “The New Majority” is really just a majority of one. He’s a nobody in the GOP with zero influence and no following. If you want real conservatism you need to pick-up Mark Levin’s best-selling book Liberty And Tyranny.
