Henry “The Rat” Waxman bizarrely tried to insert the vilified Koch Brothers into the Keystone Pipeline debate in a hearing on Capital Hill yesterday — and got spanked.

Congressional throwdown! In a heated hearing Wednesday on Capitol Hill, Democratic Congressman Henry Waxman called upon the billionaire Koch brothers to be subpoenaed over their alleged monetary interests in the controversial Keystone XL pipeline. Republican CongressmanEd Whitfield angrily cut off Waxman. “We’re not going to be subpoenaing the Koch brothers … because the Koch brothers have nothing to do with this project,” Whitfield snapped…

Watching The Rat get shut down is so great it damn near brings a tear to my eye.

Pretty funny. I don’t like the fat kid who threw a fit and said he “hated” his parents. That little brat doesn’t deserve anything else. That’s the kind of entitlement mentality that leads to Occupy Wall Street.

Ironically, I have a memory from childhood similar to this seared into my brain. I remember it like it was yesterday. I think I was around 11 or 12 at the time. I had started playing basketball in the local youth league. I wanted a pair of $150 Air Jordan shoes like the other kids. My grandfather came by the house one day with a gift for me. It was a brand new pair of Reebok basketball shoes. A perfectly good pair of shoes, but not the fancy expensive ones I wanted. How dare I not get the most expensive pair of shoes. This would not stand!

I threw a temper tantrum much like the fat kid in this video. I told my grandfather I “hated” the shoes and would never wear them. He took them back, but I could tell his feelings were hurt. I felt ashamed of the way I behaved later than evening. It may seem trivial some 20 years later, but I still think about that day and feel so ashamed. I would do anything to go back and do things differently. I have no idea if my grandfather even remembers that incident, but it has stuck with me.

A couple of days later my grandfather took me to Foot Locker and bought me the exact shoes I wanted. Even after the way I treated him. That’s the kind of man he is.

I guess I’m lucky that even at that age I recognized how wrong it was for me to treat my grandfather (or anyone else) that way. It was incredibly cruel and heartless. A world class jerk move. What’s scary is that some kids today never seem to learn that lesson. They grow up thinking the world owes them something. They want to know why that bastard up the street drives a Mercedes and they don’t. They want the corner office and the mansion the day after graduating from college. When that doesn’t happen they take to the streets to condemn capitalism and the evil “1%.”

The always fearless Jason Mattera somehow was able to corner Vice President Joe Biden and ask him some tough questions. Biden didn’t take it well and was clearly annoyed. In short, it was AWESOME. If you don’t know Jason, he works for Human Events. He confronts powerful people (usually liberals) and asks them bad ass questions.

It’s no secret that Bristol Palin’s deadbeat baby daddy Levi Johnston isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. It always seems like everyone is in on the joke except Levi. The disappointment Sarah Palin feels about this moron polluting her family’s gene pool is palpable. Levi is like a bad foot fungus that just won’t go away.

And sadly, he’s once again about to be foisted upon us. What’s worse, he’s hocking a book.

Levi’s much anticipated (in his mind at least) tome is called “Deer In The Headlights: My Life In Sarah Palin’s Crosshairs.”

Hold in your laughter because that ain’t nothing. The cover is now on Amazon and it has to been seen to be believed. It will blow your mind. The absurdity of it is beyond description.

That’s exactly the look that would be on my face the moment I realized I’d blown it with Bristol Palin. This backwoods white trash piece of crap had it made and he blew it. All he had to do was shut the f*ck up and be a good husband and father. He had a chance marry into the Palin family and make something of himself and he just threw it away.
