CNN’s openly gay anchor Don Lemon implies that the Family Research Council is to blame for gang violence against gays. He shows a clip of black gang bangers beating the hell out of another black guy and screaming gay slurs at him. And since The Family Research Council speaks out against gay marriage and homosexuality they are at least partially to blame for this.

First of all, it’s a well known fact that homophobia is stronger in the black community than probably anywhere else. They don’t want to hear about gays, see gays, or hang out with gays. When they discover a gay he gets beat down as you see in the video. Secondly, I’m pretty sure that none of those gangsters and almost no one in the black community is a Conservative. And I further doubt that anyone in that community is a member of or even knows what The Family Research Council is or says.

But since gays don’t have the balls to angrily march for gay rights in the black community (since they know what would happen) they have to blame others and deflect attention away. What Don Lemon and other left wingers are really saying is that to be against gay marriage is to be for gay bashing.

Suffice it to say that’s an outrageous and disgusting accusation.

I told you yesterday about CNN anchor Don Lemon admitting over the weekend that he was gay. He’s still continuing his victory lap on CNN as his co-workers bask in the glow of diversity and shower him with praise and “support.” As if Don Lemon really expected to get anything but “support.” The liberal media can’t get enough of this sh*t. Being gay is about the biggest career booster someone in the media can have. Being friends with a gay guy means you embrace “diversity” which puts you at the top of all the cocktail party lists. And actually being gay is even better because you can claim minority status and receive special treatment. Again, you go right to the top of the cocktail party lists.

Some people mistake my snarky posts about this subject as being anti-gay. In truth, I’m not anti-gay or pro-gay — I just don’t care. Why do we need to know Don Lemon’s sexual orientation? But the real issue is how contrived the whole “coming out” process is in the media. It’s just silly. Don Lemon claiming he feared being ostracized at work for being gay is absurd. His liberal colleagues will be falling all over themselves to be his friend now.

The only legitimate story out of all this is the way gays are treated in the black community. He’s right when he says a gay black man is about as low as it gets in the black community. But this too is a great example of left wing hypocrisy. The radical gay left loves to target Mormons and Christians for being anti-gay, but they never lay a glove on the black church. You never see a gay protest outside a black church. That’s because blacks won’t put up with that crap. Violence would break out for sure. Gay activists go for the easy targets like Mormon churches because they know the Mormons won’t do anything.

If gays were really serious about being treated fairly they would man up (or butch up) and protest the black churches. But that will never happen.

WASHINGTON – A Pentagon spokeswoman says recruiters have been told that they must accept gay applicants, following a federal court decision striking down the ban on gays serving openly in the military.

Spokeswoman Cynthia Smith said Tuesday that top-level guidance has been issued to recruiting commands informing them that the military’s "don’t ask, don’t tell" rule has been suspended for now. Recruiters also have been told to inform potential recruits that the moratorium could be reversed at any point.

So basically, the issue has been decided. I’m actually in favor of repealing DADT, but I think the more responsible thing to do would be to wait for the official report from the Pentagon. We are at war and the military has a right to study the potential consequences of such a change before it is made.

It’s a lot more complicated than people realize. You don’t just repeal it and have gays live in harmony. The armed forces must have the appropriate infrastructure in place before repealing DADT. All military personnel will be required to take sensitivity courses and new rules and regulations will have to be written. There will have to be procedures in place to deal with any issues of harassment or intimidation that might arise.

Rushing this along is idiotic and dangerous.

18-year old Tyler Clementi committed suicide after two classmates secretly recorded him having sex in his room and then broadcast it on the web. The ever politically correct media is dodging a major part of the story. Clementi was apparently gay and was recorded having a sexual encounter with a male.

After the tape broadcast, Clementi is believed to have jumped off the George Washington bridge. The two students who secretly recorded him have been arrested and charged with invasion of privacy.

This is a horrible situation. I want to know if the purpose of broadcasting that video was to out Clementi in front of the school against his will. Should that turn out to be the case those two jerks should be charged with murder or at least manslaughter. You can’t play around with people’s lives like that.

Former Bush campaign manager Ken Mehlman has come out as gay. Most Republicans assumed he was gay anyway. Nobody cares.

Ryan Sorba is a dickhead and that’s really all there is to it. All the problems this country is facing and this asshole is mad that gay Republicans were allowed to attend CPAC.

I have never seen such an ugly and pathetic display from a so-called fellow Conservative. It was actually surreal. The idea that GOProud should be excluded from CPAC is despicable.

Sorba is a disgrace and he was rightfully condemned. Unlike liberals, we Conservatives actually believe in tolerance. Excluding fellow Conservatives because of their sexual orientation is simply unacceptable.

One of the left’s favorite things to do is “out” gay republican politicians. I happen to share their disdain for republicans who crusade against gay rights and turn out to be gay themselves. That kind of hypocrisy really is just too much.

However, it’s when the left tries to “out” republicans just because they’re republicans through nefarious whisper campaigns and gossip that bug me.

A republican senator or congressman who’s above the age of 40 and still single must be gay — according to the left.

Oddly, it’s the same leftists who howl about gays being treated equally that relish outing gay republicans as if being gay were something bad.

A favorite target of lefty homophobes is Sen. Lindsey Graham. Liberals often talk about Graham being gay as if it’s an established fact that everyone already knows.

Proud lesbian lefty and former democratic congressional candidate Linda Ketner is the latest one to “out” allegedly gay republicans.

In an interview with far left blog Firedoglake, Ketner makes the claim that three South Carolina GOP politicians are gay.

She names Sen. Lindsey Graham, Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer, and S.C. Senate President Glenn McConnell.

Ketner doesn’t actually know if the three are gay, but certainly thinks so based on what she’s heard.

Here’s the real point that liberals and gay activists are missing. The vast majority of republicans don’t really give a damn if someone is gay.

Folks who support Lindsey Graham are not going to scream in horror if they discover he’s gay and not vote for him anymore. As much as the left would love for that to happen it’s not.

Liberals often make the mistake (on purpose usually) of tying the gay marriage issue to a hatred of gays.

Just because a person thinks the word “marriage” should remain legally defined as being between a man and a woman doesn’t show a hatred of gays.

In California, gay couples get ALL the same rights as married couples do, but it’s just not called “marriage.”

So demonizing Carrie Prejean, staging dramatic protests, and invoking Martin Luther King Jr. is about nothing more than semantics.

Gays want that damn marriage word and nothing short of it. To hell with all the legal rights they just want that damn word!

But, that’s another issue — back to outing gay republicans.

I happen to like Lindsey Graham. Many conservatives think he’s too much of a RINO (Republican In Name Only), but nevertheless he’s a good guy.

His sexual orientation is totally irrelevant. Whether or not he likes dudes has no impact whatsoever on his performance as a U.S. Senator.

Again, it’s the same people who want special hate crime laws to protect gays and pretend to be champions of gay rights, who also try and publically humiliate other allegedly gay people with whom they disagree.

This of course is the usual rank hypocrisy you get from the left — so I’m not really surprised.

CBS’s Harry Smith played a clip on “The Early Show” of a brief interview he did with Sean Penn following the Oscar’s. Smith told Penn that he “wept openly” several times during “Milk” because “it really is a film about the civil rights movement.”

How lame can you get? I’m so tired of all the phony solidarity that liberals feel they have to show with the gays. It was a foregone conclusion that “Milk” would win at the Oscar’s. Anybody could have played Harvey Milk and they would have won. But, guess what liberals? No matter how many awards you give to commie pinko Sean Penn, gay marriage will still be illegal in California and Harry Smith will still be a tool.

While discussing James Dobson’s attacks on Barack Obama and the need to reach out to the Christian right, Al Sharpton said this to Anderson Cooper:

“I may have some very conservative personal feelings but I feel you have the right to live your life differently. I may think that what you do Anderson is gonna put you in Hell, but I’m gonna defend your right to get there.”

Cooper blushed before thanking Sharpton for his remarks. (See the video)
