Lefty Blogs Show Sympathy For Bob Novak
As vicious as the left-wing blogs are, you can always count on them to be compassionate when someone is ill — even if that person is a Republican.
Canadian Law: Telling The Truth About Muslims is Hate Speech
Take a look at this excellent column by Kathy Shaidle over at Pajamas Media. She offers some excellent analysis of the outrageous prosecution of Mark Steyn for “hate speech” in Canada.
Columnist and author Mark Steyn was charged with “hate speech” by the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal for what it called “flagrant Islamaphobia” after excerpts of his best selling book on radical Islam were featured in a popular Canadian news magazine.
The Canadian government can stop anyone from publishing something it deems “likely” to expose Muslims to “hatred” or “contempt.” Which means that being critical of Muslims in Canada is against the law. Steyn doesn’t face jail time for his “hate crime” but if found guilty he’ll face hefty fines and likely be banned from publishing in Canada ever again.
This so-called “Muslim Human Rights Tribunal” has a 100% conviction rate, so it’s highly unlikely that Steyn will be found innocent. Oddly enough, the far-left here in America has been silent about this Stalinist assault on free speech in Canada, but I guess that’s because they too are terrorist sympathizers just like the Canadian government.
I’m willing to bet if Mark Steyn had written a book that said Jesus was an as*shole, and Christians are dangerous, there would be no trial.
Video: Obama’s Church Strikes Again
Barack Obama’s church is back in the headlines again. Only this time it’s not Rev. Wright that’s causing the controversy. Instead it’s Father Michael Pfleger who was the invited guest pastor last Sunday at Trinity United Church of Christ.
His sermon was filled with much of the same anti-white, racist rhetoric that Rev. Wright’s are, but the unusual thing about Pfleger is that he’s a white Catholic Priest.
Maybe it’s just me, but I’m beginning to sense a pattern at this particular church. A pattern of racism and radical ideology that Barack Obama and his family sat through for 20 years.
Take a look:
Video: Olbermann Unhinged, Accuses Bush Of ‘War Crimes’
One of the most despicable and unqualified people on cable news is MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann. His angry, and hate-filled diatribes against President Bush and Republicans make him a favorite of the far-left.
Twice as many people tune-in to watch Bill O’Reilly’s 3:00 AM repeat than watch Keith Olbermann in prime time if that’s any indication of what a joke this guy is.
Which is why Olbermann devotes a certain amount of time each week to attacking Bill O’Reilly. The problem is that everyone’s watching O’Reilly so there’s not many people around to listen to his ridiculous attacks.
Keith only spent a couple of minutes attacking O’Reilly last night, instead he decided to devote extra time to viciously attacking President Bush. He included all the usual far-left rhetoric about “war crimes” and even told Bush to “shut the hell up.”

Racial Incidents Reported From Obama Campaign Trail
The Washington Post is reporting some disturbing incidents of racial hatred towards the Obama campaign in certain parts of the country. Obviously, some people are still racist but for the most part those who are try and hide it.
Such is not the case in places like Kokomo and Muncie, Indiana where Obama campaign volunteers have received a less than warm reception around town.
Here’s the worst: In Muncie, a factory town in the east-central part of Indiana, Ross and her cohorts were soliciting support for Obama at malls, on street corners and in a Wal-Mart parking lot, and they ran into “a horrible response,” as Ross put it, a level of anti-black sentiment that none of them had anticipated.
“The first person I encountered was like, ‘I’ll never vote for a black person,’ ” recalled Ross, who is white and just turned 20. “People just weren’t receptive.”
For all the hope and excitement Obama’s candidacy is generating, some of his field workers, phone-bank volunteers and campaign surrogates are encountering a raw racism and hostility that have gone largely unnoticed — and unreported — this election season. Doors have been slammed in their faces. They’ve been called racially derogatory names (including the white volunteers). And they’ve endured malicious rants and ugly stereotyping from people who can’t fathom that the senator from Illinois could become the first African American president.
That’s nothing compared to the racism displayed in some parts of Pennsylvania.
Victoria Switzer, a retired social studies teacher, was on phone-bank duty one night during the Pennsylvania primary campaign. One night was all she could take: “It wasn’t pretty.” She made 60 calls to prospective voters in Susquehanna County, her home county, which is 98 percent white. The responses were dispiriting. One caller, Switzer remembers, said he couldn’t possibly vote for Obama and concluded: “Hang that darky from a tree!“
In some parts of the country Obama’s offices have had their windows smashed out, and campaign signs burned.
It’s as much sad as it is appalling that some Americans still have hatred for other Americans based solely on the color of their skin.
Prior to this election I would have thought that kind of overt racial hatred was for the most part in the past, but shamefully it appears to be alive and well in some areas.

Ahmadinejad: Israel a ’stinking corpse’
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad decided to offer his thoughts today on Israel’s celebration of its 60th birthday.
“Those who think they can revive the stinking corpse of the usurping and fake Israeli regime by throwing a birthday party are seriously mistaken,” the official IRNA news agency quoted Ahmadinejad as having said.
“Today the reason for the Zionist regime’s existence is questioned, and this regime is on its way to annihilation.”
Ahmadinejad further stated that Israel “has reached the end like a dead rat after being slapped by the Lebanese” - referring to the Second Lebanon War in the summer of 2006.
Rev. Wright Speaks To Bill Moyers
Just when you start missing those Youtube clips of Obama’s pastor ranting and raving in front of his congregation, Rev. Wright does something to get himself front and center once again.
No matter how many times I see those clips of pastor Wright I still laugh out loud. It looks like it’s time to cue up those clips again, because the rev. is back and he’s not one bit sorry!
In an interview that will air tomorrow, Rev. Jeremiah Wright sits down with ultra far-left journalist Bill Moyers.
Here’s a snippet of the interview:
“It’s to paint me as something — ‘Something’s wrong with me. There’s nothing wrong with this country … for its policies. We’re perfect. Our hands are free. Our hands have no blood on them,’” he said. “That’s not a failure to communicate. The message that is being communicated by the sound bites is exactly what those pushing those sound bites want to communicate.”
When asked what the people who aired the clips “wanted to communicate,” Mr. Wright said, “I think they wanted to communicate that I am unpatriotic, that I am un-American, that I am filled with hate speech, that I have a cult at Trinity United Church of Christ. And by the way, guess who goes to his church, hint, hint, hint? That’s what they wanted to communicate.”
Mr. Wright, who has acted as Mr. Obama’s spiritual mentor and retired in February as pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, said that he has never heard Mr. Obama repeat any of his controversial statements.
“Absolutely not,” Mr. Wright said. “I don’t talk to him about politics. And so he had a political event, he goes out as a politician and says what he has to say as a politician. I continue to be a pastor who speaks to the people of God about the things of God.”
Mr. Obama publicly denounced Mr. Wright’s remarks, a reaction Mr. Wright said “went down very simply.”
“He’s a politician, I’m a pastor,” he said. “We speak to two different audiences. And he says what he has to say as a politician. I say what I have to say as a pastor. But they’re two different worlds.”
He added, “I do what I do. He does what politicians do. So that what happened in Philadelphia where he had to respond to the sound bytes, he responded as a politician.”
I don’t think it was “guess who goes to his church, hint, hint, hint…” at all. I think people have a right to ask someone who wants to be president why they have a racist black militant for a pastor.
I think we have a right to ask why Obama would bring his family to a church that teaches that AIDS was invented by white people to unleash on the black community. It seems strange that a guy with a message of “hope” who likes to “bring people together” would be so closely associated with a raving lunatic like Wright.

Deep Thoughts, By Rev. Jeremiah Wright
Obama’s Church Accuses Media Of “Crucifiction”
From The Politico:
The church attended by Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) fought back Sunday against mounting criticism of its pastor, accusing the media of character assassination and “crucifixion.”
Otis Moss II, the current pastor of Trinity United Church, used his pulpit to defend his congregation and its past minister, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., from a wave of controversy stemming from inflammatory statements made by Wright.
“We have listened and watched as the wonderful work of our church has been vilified this week,” he told about 3,000 congregants on Palm Sunday morning. “This week should be special for us because I guess we know a little something about crucifixion.”
The church also released a statement that began: “Nearly three weeks before the 40th commemorative anniversary of the murder of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Reverend Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr.’s character is being assassinated in the public sphere because he has preached a social gospel on behalf of oppressed women, children and men in America and around the globe.”
It doesn’t matter what Otis Moss says, we know the Trinity United Church is a church of hate and racism. Just because Moss and Wright call it a “social gospel” doesn’t change the fact that it’s ignorant hate speech.
Wright told his congregation that AIDS is a disease created by white people to wipe-out the black community. How can such an outrageous claim possibly be justified? I don’t care how what they’ve done to help people in Chicago, it doesn’t justify spewing propaganda at what sounds more like a Black Panther rally than a church service.
Trinity United Church is determined to make sure that any oppressed black people stay oppressed for generations to come by convincing them that white people hate them and will always hate them. The church tells the poor and vulnerable that they have no hope of ever making it out of the ghetto as long rich white people are in power.
White people will send drugs into their communities and unleash AIDS on them in order to keep them down. It’s disgusting and reprehensible that Barack Obama would align himself with such a repugnant figure as Jeremiah Wright.
Obama can never again claim to have superior judgment after having aligned himself with a hateful black militant like Jeremiah Wright for more than 20 years.

Obama Pastor: “God Damn America”
Here’s some of Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s greatest hits:
“The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, that’s in the Bible for killing innocent people,” he said in a 2003 sermon. “God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.”
In addition to damning America, he told his congregation on the Sunday after Sept. 11, 2001 that the United States had brought on al Qaeda’s attacks because of its own terrorism.
“We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye,” Rev. Wright said in a sermon on Sept. 16, 2001.
“We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost,” he told his congregation.
It looks like Senator Obama has more “Rejecting & Denouncing” to do.
Russian Nationalists March in Moscow, Shout Heil Hitler
About 5,000 nationalists turned out for the Russian March, held for the third year on National Unity Day, a holiday the Kremlin created in 2005 to replace the traditional Nov. 7 celebration of the 1917 Bolshevik rise to power.
But extreme nationalists have seized on the holiday, reflecting a rise in xenophobia. More than 50 people have been killed and 400 injured in ethnically motivated attacks this year, according to the Sova rights center.
A white supremacist from Texas lifted his black cowboy hat into the air as he stepped forward to address thousands of Russian nationalists at a rally Sunday in Moscow.
“I’m taking my hat off as a sign of respect for your strong identity in ethnicity, nation and race,” said Preston Wiginton, 43, exposing his close-cropped head to a freezing drizzle.
“Glory to Russia,” he said in broken Russian, as the crowd of mostly young Russian men raised their right hands in a Nazi salute and chanted “white power!” in English.
In St. Petersburg, about 500 people rallied at Revolution Square in front of the Winter Palace. Police detained 12 men who attempted to break into a Chinese restaurant.
