Louis Farrakhan may be a hateful racist and a fool, but he gives a hell of an entertaining sermon. I watched this train wreck for 30 minutes without even realizing it. But I think it’s good for all sane people to watch this lunatic closely. You need to see where he’s coming from and why he believes what he believes. Frankly, his rhetoric is no different than what you’d hear at a big Klan rally (back when there were enough Klansmen to have one). The only difference is that he hates white people and not blacks.

Farrakhan says Barack Obama’s presidency has largely been a disappointment to black people. However, it’s not really his fault. According to Farrakhan, Obama is under the control of “wicked” and “unrighteous” Jews. It’s the fault of these “devils” that Obama has attacked “Brother Gaddafi” in Libya. The reason he bailed out Wall Street is because “Zionists” control the banking industry.

The scariest thing about Farrakhan is the size of the crowd he draws. Tens of thousands gather to watch this nut. You’d like to think only a handful of black people buy into this garbage, but sadly that doesn’t appear to be the case.

The one thing that simply cannot be stated often enough is that President Barack Hussein Obama sat in this man’s church for 20 years. He was married by this man. This man baptized his children. Yet the American people are supposed to believe that Barack Obama doesn’t believe what Wright believes? Why would he take his children to a church where the pastor spews a bunch of crap he doesn’t believe? Think about it. Also, John McCain’s refusal to use Rev. Wright against Obama during the election was cowardly and unforgivable.

This is the reason it’s such a shame that left-wingers throw the term “bigot” around so loosely. Anyone they disagree with is a bigot or a racist. Any speech they disagree with is deemed “hate speech.” What that does is cheapen the debate. People become cynical about those accusations because they’re hurled around constantly.

When we finally do find a real racist or bigot in our midst, labeling him as such doesn’t quite have the sting or humiliation that is should.

Arkansas school board member Clint McCance is a real bigot. This is not a matter of debate or speculation — it’s a fact.

McCance expressed his venomous hatred of gay people on his Facebook page:

They want me to wear purple because five queers committed suicide. The only way I’m wearing for them is if they all commit suicide. I can’t believe the people of this world have gotten this stupid. … I like that fags can’t procreate. I also enjoy that they often give each other AIDS and die…I would disown my kids they were gay.

I don’t think the usual “I was taken out of context” is going to fly for that one. Clint McCance doesn’t think so either which is why he’s announced his resignation from the school board and appeared hat in hand on Anderson Cooper.

Clint represents the kind of old-school hate that still exists in parts of the country. The Left would have you believe Clint is your typical Tea Partier, but nothing could be further from the truth. I can honestly say in my 29 years on this earth I’ve never met someone like Clint.

It’s not a matter of choosing the wrong words. The way Clint speaks about gay people is more than likely how his parents and grandparents spoke about gay people. I doubt his feelings about blacks and Jews are much different.

The horrible Westboro Baptist “Church” took their act to the Supreme Court of the United States today. Margie Phelps, daughter of Fred Phelps, argued her family’s case today in front of the court.

The case is officially known as Snyder v. Phelps and at issue is whether the First Amendment protects protesters at a funeral from liability. In this case, the liability is for intentionally inflicting emotional distress on the family of the deceased.

We’ve all seen the horrific protests the Phelps family imposes on the funerals of our fallen soldiers. Now SCOTUS must decide if the Phelps family is liable for the harm caused by those outrageous protests.

If the entire Phelps family were hit by a truck tomorrow I would be quite pleased. They are among the most despicable creatures this country has ever produced.

However, I’m very torn about this case. It should be illegal to protest the way they’re protesting. But at the same time I’m not sure if it really should be. It really is a slippery slope when you begin curtailing free speech. You would hope that most people would have enough decency not to use their free speech rights in such a malicious and hateful way, but that’s not the case.

It seems to me a happy medium would be to simply impose a distance regulation. But I’m no lawyer so I don’t know. I don’t have a clue how the court is going to rule on this, but I suspect they may fall on the side of free speech.

This is every Americans worst nightmare. It’s what you see happening throughout Europe and Canada. People being put on trial and potentially sentenced to prison for speech. Publicly espousing an opinion that government bureaucrats don’t like.

Geert Wilders, a man we have huge respect for around here, is facing just such a trial in front of a kangaroo court in the Netherlands.

The hate speech trial for Wilders began today. He could face up to a year in prison for “inciting hatred against Muslims” which is politically correct Euro-speak for telling the truth about Islam.

Here’s what Wilders said in his opening statement to the sham court:

Fortunately, Wilders now has significant support in the Netherlands. People like what he says and are tired of being pushed around by radical Muslims. They’re tired of seeing their culture taken over and destroyed by radical Islam.

Wilders was in town on 9/11 and gave a passionate speech at Ground Zero in opposition to the planned mosque there.

You know how democrats are always accusing the GOP of being the “party of hate?” Think back to all the times you heard loathsome pieces of shit like Arianna Huffington accuse republicans of being hateful racists.

With all that fresh in your mind, take a look at what HuffPo writer Erik Sean Nelson wrote about Sarah Palin after she announced her resignation. It was so awful that it was pulled from the site just minutes after Free Republic wrote about it.

In Sarah Palin’s resignation announcement she complained about the treatment of her son Trig who always teaches her life lessons. She said that the "world needs more Trigs, not fewer." That’s a presidential campaign promise we can all get behind. She will be the first politician to actually try to increase the population of retarded people. To me, it’s kinda like saying the world needs more cancer patients because they teach us such personal lessons.

Her first act as President: To introduce a Pre-K lunch buffet that includes lead paint chips. Sort of a Large HEAD-START Program.

She will then encourage women to hold off on pregnancies until their 40′s just to mix up some chromosomes.

She now is in favor of abortion only in case of diploid birth.

Her policies will increase jobs because Wal-Mart is building new stores each day and someone has to be the greeter.

This will lead to smaller government because fewer Americans will have the cognitive ability to hold a government job.

Look, she says she’s resigning as governor because people are making attacks on her and Trig. If she ever did become president, all Osama bin Laden would have to do to defeat the United States is Photoshop a picture of Trig and she’d surrender the country that night. As she said, "That’s not politics as usual." It isn’t. Politicians don’t usually quit for so stupid of reasons.

It’s interesting how all the politically correct language and condemnation of hate speech go flying out the window when it comes to tearing down a political opponent.

You would think a guy like Erik wouldn’t be so quick to personally attack people, especially when it comes to physical appearance, etc.

Nothing shows the hateful, bitter, looney, and unhinged nature of left-wing bloggers more than John Gibson’s “Blue Blogapalooza.” Gibson’s staff simply read aloud the comments on far-left blogs in response to various news stories. Cheney’s comments in Politico yesterday garnered the usual vicious diatribes that have become a hallmark of the left.

As vicious as the left-wing blogs are, you can always count on them to be compassionate when someone is ill — even if that person is a Republican.

Take a look at this excellent column by Kathy Shaidle over at Pajamas Media. She offers some excellent analysis of the outrageous prosecution of Mark Steyn for “hate speech” in Canada.

Columnist and author Mark Steyn was charged with “hate speech” by the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal for what it called “flagrant Islamaphobia” after excerpts of his best selling book on radical Islam were featured in a popular Canadian news magazine.

The Canadian government can stop anyone from publishing something it deems “likely” to expose Muslims to “hatred” or “contempt.” Which means that being critical of Muslims in Canada is against the law. Steyn doesn’t face jail time for his “hate crime” but if found guilty he’ll face hefty fines and likely be banned from publishing in Canada ever again.

This so-called “Muslim Human Rights Tribunal” has a 100% conviction rate, so it’s highly unlikely that Steyn will be found innocent. Oddly enough, the far-left here in America has been silent about this Stalinist assault on free speech in Canada, but I guess that’s because they too are terrorist sympathizers just like the Canadian government.

I’m willing to bet if Mark Steyn had written a book that said Jesus was an as*shole, and Christians are dangerous, there would be no trial.
