PENSACOLA, Fla. — A federal judge declared the Obama administration’s health care overhaul unconstitutional Monday, siding with 26 states that sued to block it, saying that people can’t be required to buy health insurance.

U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson agreed with the states that the new law violates people’s rights by forcing them to buy health insurance by 2014 or face penalties. He went a step further than a previous ruling against the law, declaring the entire thing unconstitutional if the insurance requirement does not hold up.

It’s pretty much a foregone conclusion that ObamaCare is going down in flames when it reaches the Supreme Court.

Politico got their hooves on a new confidential messaging strategy for democrats hoping to get at least something positive from their takeover of health care.

Conspicuously left out of the powerpoint is any message about cost-cutting and money-saving. Something we conservatives said all along was nothing more than a fantasy inside the head of Nancy “Stretch” Pelosi. In fact, there’s an explicit warning NOT to promise cost-cutting. Instead the message should be a promise to “improve” health care.

If this angry mom is any indication I don’t think this new strategy is going to work either.

Sen. Ben Nelson appears to be the lone Democrat refusing to go along with ObamaCare, unless language is added that would prevent the federal funding of abortion. Obama can’t afford to outrage his radical left base any further and therefore cannot insert such language.

With no other way out, the Obama administration has quietly informed Sen. Nelson that if he does not support the health care bill, they will close Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.

Offutt is vital to our national security and one of the most technologically advanced bases in the country. Moreover, it employees more than 10,000 people.

That means The White House is willing to add 10,000 people to the unemployment lines, destroy our national security, and wreck Nebraska’s economy to get Ben Nelson’s vote.

Sounds like some gangster shit to me. Nelson should call a press conference and tell the American people that President Obama and his cronies are engaged in high crimes. They are attempting to extort his vote for health care reform. It blows my mind that Nelson would take these threats lying down. Doesn’t the man have any principles?

So what if the left smears him, that’s what the left does. The American people have a right to know that a Chicago gangster lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

This health care bill is a disaster. It’s a horrific piece of legislation that is going to destroy our health care system and bankrupt the nation. The fact that the administration has to resort to threats and extortion to get it passed speaks volumes about the bill itself.
