Why The Hollywood Left Loves Dictators

It seems as if every time we turn around we see some Hollywood d-bag like Sean Penn rubbing elbows with Hugo Chavez, Castro, or some other nasty dictator or Commie.

Given that actors make a living using freedom of expression and rake in millions of dollars through the capitalist system, it seems odd that Hollywood would have such a love affair with dictators and tyrants.

Obama Asking Celebrities For Help Promoting ObamaCare

President Obama is turning to a handful of Hollywood stars to judge a contest that asks grassroots supporters to create a television commercial promoting health care reform.

Musician Will.I.Am, actor John Cho, actress Rosario Dawson, actor Dulé Hill, "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane, actor Brandon Routh, actress Kate Walsh and actress Olivia Wilde will join Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine, DNC Executive Director Jen O’Malley Dillon, Rep. Patrick Murphy of Pennsylvania, Obama campaign manager David Plouffe and volunteers in helping to pick the 30-second commercial that will air nationally, a DNC official tells CNN.

The contest is being run by Obama’s political arm – Organizing for America – which is housed at DNC headquarters in Washington, DC. It is the latest effort by the president’s political team to try and enlist the grassroots to help pressure Congress to pass health care reform this year.

I’ve been vehemently opposed to a government takeover of health care from the beginning. However, since Will.I.Am, John Cho, Rosario Dawson, Dule Hill, Seth MacFarlane, Brandon Routh, Kate Walsh, and Olivia Wilde are in favor of it — I may have to rethink my position.

Nope, after thinking about it again — I’m still against it. In fact, since all those Hollywood assholes do support it, that’s all the more reason for me not to.

Jon Voight: “The Obama Administration Is Professional At Bullying”

It truly warms my heart to see a conservative in Hollywood speaking out against the Obama administration, especially someone with Jon Voight’s stature. Voight has amassed enough power and wealth in Hollywood that he can freely speak his mind without reprisals — something lesser stars just can’t do.

Here’s what Voight told the Washington Times:

"There’s a real question at stake now. Is President Obama creating a civil war in our own country?" Mr. Voight tells Inside the Beltway.

"We are witnessing a slow, steady takeover of our true freedoms. We are becoming a socialist nation, and whoever can’t see this is probably hoping it isn’t true. If we permit Mr. Obama to take over all our industries, if we permit him to raise our taxes to support unconstitutional causes, then we will be in default. This great America will become a paralyzed nation."

Be outraged, Mr. Voight advises.

"Do not let the Obama administration fool you with all their cunning Alinsky methods. And if you don’t know what that method is, I implore you to get the book ‘Rules for Radicals,’ by Saul Alinsky . Mr. Obama is very well trained in these methods," he continues, citing a television campaign critical of the Republican Party and contentious town-hall meetings about health care reform.

"The real truth is that the Obama administration is professional at bullying, as we have witnessed with ACORN at work during the presidential campaign. It seems to me they are sending down their bullies to create fist fights among average American citizens who don’t want a government-run health care plan forced upon them," Mr. Voight says. "So I ask again. Is President Obama creating a civil war in our own country?"

I couldn’t agree more.

However, once you reach the stature of a Clint Eastwood or a Jon Voight you can say what’s on your mind and the Commie-Pinko pigs can’t hurt you anymore!

Angie Harmon Says She’s Not A Racist For Disagreeing With Barack Obama

Actress Angie Harmon is defending herself from attacks by liberals calling her ‘racist’ for daring to disagree with Barack Obama.

Angie Harmon is not afraid to come out and say she doesn’t like how President Obama is handling the job — but she’s sick of having to defend herself from being deemed a racist.

"Here’s my problem with this, I’m just going to come out and say it. If I have anything to say against Obama it’s not because I’m a racist, it’s because I don’t like what he’s doing as President and anybody should be able to feel that way, but what I find now is that if you say anything against him you’re called a racist…

She goes on to say she thinks John McCain would have done a better job, because he has more experience. Most controversial of all (at least in Hollywood) is her continued defense of Gov. Sarah Palin.

"I admire any kind of woman like her. My whole motto is to know what I stand for and know what I don’t stand for and have the courage to live my life accordingly and she does exactly that. The fact that this woman has made the decisions she’s made and literally lived her life according to that and takes heat for it is absolutely disgusting to me," she added. "People cannot look at this woman. I really think they’re afraid of her and her morals, ethics and values and the fact that she hangs on them. Is she the most experienced person in the world? But she was running to be the Vice President, so we then put the most inexperienced person as the President. That didn’t make any sense to me."

Whoa! You don’t EVER hear that kind of frank talk coming out of Hollywood. Unfortunately, rhetoric like that will prevent you from getting work usually.

It really does say a lot about how damaged our society is when a person is no longer free to speak out about an issue without being labeled a “homophobe” or a “racist” or a “hatemonger.”

Why does being critical of president Obama mean you hate black people? It’s such a bizarre accusation.

The American left prides itself on being so tolerant and charitable when in reality they are the least tolerant and least charitable among us.
