Howard Stern interviewed Sly Stallone about his movie “The Expendables.” Stallone says he has trouble getting his films made because he’s seen a right-wing outsider to the Hollywood elite. He says no studio wanted to make “The Expendables” and he’s thrilled that it beat “Eat Pray Love”.

Much to the chagrin of leftist Hollywood, Stallone has the #1 movie in America. For some reason Hollywood would rather make shitty anti-war screeds that make no money instead of awesome movies like “The Expendables.”

“American Idol” is pushing hard to get Howard Stern to fill Simon Cowell’s role on the popular show. This is Simon’s last season on the show and Fox needs someone who’s mean enough to fill the role.

I’m a big fan of “American Idol” and I think Stern would be a great fit. He would be a great contrast to Ellen DeGeneres — the most recent addition to the show.

“Idol” is one of the few venues in this economy that can afford Stern who’s $100 million contract with Sirius XM radio is about to expire.

Simon Cowell was offered a whopping $140 million to stay on beyond this season, but he turned it down in favor of bringing his UK music show “X-Factor” to America.

In the end it’s safe to say Fox is coming out the winner no matter what happens since they have both “American Idol” and “X-Factor”.

I agree with the teacher, she should not have been fired. If the students had been older then I could see how her appearance on Howard Stern might be an issue. But second graders don’t watch or listen to Howard Stern, so they would have never known of her appearance had the school not fired her for it.
