SF Chronicle Columnist Attacks Laura Bush

May 1, 2008 · Filed Under Laura Bush, Liberal Activism, Liberal Bias, Liberals, U.S. News · Comment

Nobody ever accused the San Francisco Chronicle of being anything other than a despicable far-left publication, but this is even a stretch for them.

SF Chronicle columnist Mark Morford writes a truly vile column in which he viciously attacks First Lady Laura Bush. Among other things he calls her ‘useless’ and ’sexless’.

Morford contrasts her with his vision of what a first lady should be, namely Teresa Heinz Kerry. Only a far-left loon could even suggest that a b*tch like Kerry is somehow better than a classy woman like Laura Bush.

His argument is that Laura Bush wasted her time in the White House by not traveling the world and taking on huge life changing issues. Morford goes on to belittle and disparage the First Lady’s efforts regarding  children’s literacy which he regards as unimportant.

“children’s literacy?” Ah, yes. Right you are, Laura has indeed taken on that wild ‘n’ wooly issue, fought valiantly to ensure lots of white children have enough access to “James and the Giant Peach.” It’s a hugely divisive, hot-button topic that’s tearing the nation apart and really needs someone of her position and influence to step in and … Oh, never mind.

Children’s literacy. Yes. I believe that ranks No. 291 on the list of the Top 300 controversial issues facing the nation today, right behind overpriced lip balm but just ahead of the demise of “Cathy” cartoons in major American newspapers. Good choice.

Morford just can’t understand how a woman can become First Lady and not attempt to grab as much power and as many headlines as possible. A loudmouth b*tch constantly competing for attention is exactly what our country needs.

The bottom line is that Mark Morford is a far-left hater and he’s doing exactly what haters do. Morford hates Republicans, Christians, and most of all George Bush. He’ll do anything to try and disparage the President even stooping so low as to attack his wife.

By even writing about this despicable column I’m really only giving it a bigger audience which is unfortunate, but it had to be done.

Bush Basher Punches Disabled Teen

tshirt-ny-anti-bush Bush Basher Punches Disabled Teen

Via the New York Post:

A man heckling First Lady Laura Bush and daughter Jenna outside the 92nd Street Y was arrested after he punched a wheelchair-bound girl whose parents has told him to shut up, authorities said yesterday. German Talis, 22, was shouting obscenities at the Bushes, who were leaving the building Tuesday, when he crossed paths with Wendy and John Lovetro and their daughter Maureen, 18, who has cerebral palsy.

They had been in the audience to hear the Bushes talk about their children’s book, “Read All About It.”

“He began yelling about Iraq and Iran at Jenna Bush. She was waving at the crowd. I told the guy, ‘What are you doing? Shut up. This is about a child and books,’ ” said John Lovetro. “He was unperturbed. I said, ‘Get out of here! You’re being a moron!’ ”

The next thing he knew, Talis was allegedly punching Maureen - a fan of the first lady since meeting her in 2004…

It looks like Bush Derangement Syndrome strikes again! You can always count on the vicious and ignorant Bush haters to f*ck up an otherwise pleasant event.

Totally Nuts: Michigan Congressman Wants 50-Cent Tax On Every Gallon Of Gas

March 20, 2008 · Filed Under Democrats, Politics, U.S. News · Comment

Sometimes you just have to pretend you didn’t hear certain things in order to keep your sanity. A Michigan congressman wants to put a 50-cent tax on every gallon of gasoline to try to cut back on Americans’ consumption.

Only a Democrat could propose such an absurd idea and manage to keep a straight face. With the economy sliding towards a recession and gas prices already through the roof, a 50 cent tax on gas is exactly what the American people need!

Rep. John Dingell, D-Mich., wants to help cut consumption with a gas tax but some don’t agree with the idea, according to a new poll by the National Center for Public Policy Research.

The poll, scheduled to be released on Thursday, shows 48 percent don’t support paying even a penny more, 28 percent would pay up to 50 cents more, 10 percent would pay more than 50 cents and 8 percent would pay more than a dollar.

“I don’t want to pay more, I don’t think anyone wants to,” said Karen Deacon, a motorist.

“I think that wouldn’t make any sense,” said Frankie Hoe, a motorist. “Ugh … who’s making the money from all this and where is that money going? Is it going to go green? I don’t see any green things anywhere.”

It’s almost too much to believe that anyone could suggest that we pay more than we already are at the damn pump. Democrats like to talk about how much damage the Bush administration has done to the middle class, but I wonder how the middle class would feel about paying 50 cents more per gallon of gas?

Morons In Vermont Town Vote On Arresting Bush and Cheney

January 28, 2008 · Filed Under Left-Wing, Legal News, Liberals, President Bush · 2 Comments

Brattleboro, Vermont residents will vote at town meeting on whether President George Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney should be indicted and arrested for war crimes, perjury or obstruction of justice if they ever visit Vermont.

The Brattleboro Select Board voted 3-2 Friday to put the controversial item on the Town Meeting Day warning.

Kurt Daims, 54, of Brattleboro, the organizer of the petition drive, said Friday the debate to get the issue on the ballot was a good one. Opposition to the vote focused on whether the town had any power to endorse the matter.

Daims said the most grievous crime committed by Bush and Cheney was perjury — lying to Congress and U.S. citizens about the basis of a war in Iraq.

He said the latest count showed a total of 600,000 people have died in the war.

Daims also said he believed Bush and Cheney were also guilty of espionage for spying on American people and obstruction of justice, for the politically generated firings of U.S. attorneys.

It speaks to just how free America is, that we could allow such stupid people to vote on anything. I would truly like to see that town try and enforce that indictment. In fact I dare them.

The only people that would end up in jail would be the police officers that try and effect the arrest. Of course, these idiots don’t have the balls anyway so it really doesn’t matter.

It’s just a shame the people in Vermont care more about ridiculous crap like this instead of strengthening their laws against sexual predators which are the weakest in the nation.

UC Berkeley prepares to remove tree-sitting protesters

November 12, 2007 · Filed Under Left-Wing, Liberals, Protesters, U.S. News · Comment

Two fences. A court order. More than 200 citations. Rain. Cold. Heckling from football fans. Excruciating boredom. And still, almost a year after they clambered up the oaks and redwoods next to Memorial Stadium, the Berkeley tree-sitters remain undaunted in their perches.

Protesters have been in the foliage since December, hoping to save the grove from a proposed $125 million sports training facility. UC wants to remove about 100 trees - about two-thirds of the grove - to build the center, and plans to replace each lost tree with two saplings and one mature tree. All but a few of the trees were planted by the university after the stadium was built in 1923.

“If they want us to come down, they should put the gym somewhere else,” said Kingman Lim, a member of the ground crew of about a dozen supporters who provide the tree-sitters with food and water. “Until then, we’ll do what it takes to protect these trees.”

He said the tree-sitters are not fazed by court orders or threats from the university. They’ll only come down voluntarily when they’re confident the trees will not be removed.

It’s time to bring this hippie crap to an end. These liberal idiots always “camp” whenever they want their way. They should all be tasered until they fall out of the trees, then savagely beaten with batons, and finally hauled off to jail.

Rep. Pete Stark Smears Troops and President During SCHIP Debate

October 18, 2007 · Filed Under Congress, Democrats, George W. Bush, Politics, Smears · Comment

Rep. Pete Stark said this during the House debate on overriding the SCHIP veto:

First of all, I’m just amazed they can’t figure out, the Republicans are worried we can’t pay for insuring an additional 10 million children. They sure don’t care about finding $200 billion to fight the illegal war in Iraq. Where ya gonna get that money? You going to tell us lies like you’re telling us today? Is that how you’re going to fund the war? You don’t have money to fund the war or children. But you’re going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the President’s amusement. This bill would provide healthcare for 10 million children and unlike the President’s own kids, these children can’t see a doctor or receive necessary care. [...]

But President Bush’s statements about children’s health shouldn’t be taken any more seriously than his lies about the war in Iraq. The truth is that Bush just likes to blow things up. In Iraq, in the United States and in Congress.

Hey! I thought Democrats supported the troops? Making the assertion that our troops are using the war funding to blow up innocent people doesn’t sound very supportive to me.

I have to give Stark credit though, that was a pretty good tantrum for a grown man. If he would’ve stomped his feet and cried at the end, it could have been even better.
