Video: Creepy Toys That Say “Islam Is The Light”

February 5, 2009 · Filed Under Islam, Video · 1 Comment

This is just plain creepy. Imagine buying your kid a regular Fisher Price doll or a video game and having them say “Islam is the light” at odd times. It seems a little funny on the surface, but this is something that should be taken seriously. It’s outrageous that something like this could happen. This is another stealth attempt by Muslims to spread Islam across America.

Sony Recalls Video Game After Single Complaint From Muslim

islamic rage boy 300x177 Sony Recalls Video Game After Single Complaint From Muslim

Sony’s newest big budget video game called LittleBigPlanet was recalled after receiving a complaint from a Muslim on the Playstation forums.

The complaint cited a single musical track in which two Islamic phrases from the Qur’an are used in the game.

Here’s what alleged Muslim “Solid_08″ wrote:

We Muslims consider the mixing of music and words from our Holy Qur’an deeply offending. We hope you would remove that track from the game immediately via an online patch, and make sure that all future shipments of the game disk do not contain it.

We would also like to mention that this isn’t the first time something like this happened in videogames. Nintendo’s 1998 hit “Zelda: Ocarina of Time” contained a musical track with islamic phrases, but it was removed in later shipments of the game after Nintendo was contacted by Muslim organizations. Last year, Capcom’s “Zack & Wiki” and Activision’s “Call of Duty 4″ also contained objectionable material offensive to Muslims that was spotted before the release of the final games, and both companies thankfully removed the content.

Here’s what the Islamofascist found so offensive:

1) In the 18th second: “كل نفس ذائقة الموت” (”kollo nafsin tha’iqatol mawt”, literally: ‘Every soul shall have the taste of death’).

2) Almost immediately after, in the 27th second: “كل من عليها فان” (”kollo man alaiha fan”, literally: ‘All that is on earth will perish’).

Immediately, Sony executives together with the game’s developers conceited like cowards and issued the following statement:

As some of you may have noticed, LBP has been slightly delayed in some territories. At MM we were as shocked and dismayed by this as anyone – shellshocked and gutted. We can’t wait for you all to get playing and creating!

We learnt yesterday that there is a lyric in one of the licensed tracks which some people may find offensive, and which slipped through the usual screening processes. Obviously MM and Sony together took this very seriously. LBP should be enjoyable by all. So within 12 hours of hearing about this issue involving a lyric (in Somalian, I believe!), Media Molecule had prepared an automatic day 0 patch and had a new disk image ready; however a decision was made within Sony that the right thing to do for quality and support of people with no on-line was to replace existing disks. They assure us that they are doing everything in their power to get things straightened out as fast as possible, and will announce dates soon.

Just in case any Muslim feathers were still ruffled by the incident, Sony made an extra apology on the U.S. Playstation Blog:

During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur’an. We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologize for any offense that this may have caused.

We will begin shipping LittleBigPlanet to retail in North America the week of October 27th. Sorry for the delay, and rest assured, we are doing everything we can to get LittleBigPlanet to you as soon as possible.

The idea that the world must walk on egg shells for fear of offending the delicate sensibilities of Muslims is really pathetic. A single complaint caused the release of a multi-million dollar video game to be halted and in many instances recalled over two phrases in a single track.

I’m willing to bet if Sony had received a complaint from a Christian about something ‘offensive’ in the game, it would have simply been ignored. It would have been ignored because Christians don’t go ape shit and start murdering people and burning cars in the street when they’re offended.

Remember back to the Danish cartoon incident or when the Pope said something Muslims found offensive, there was literally blood in the streets.

For companies or individuals to cave to that kind of pressure gives the impression to Islamofascists that using terror and intimidation is an appropriate response to being slighted (real or imagined).

You expect the gutless Europeans to give in out of fear of offending the Muslim hoards, but not in America. We have something called freedom of speech in this country and if Muslims find that offensive they should move to an Islamic country.

ubl Bin Laden Threatens Europe Over Danish Cartoons

From the AP:

Osama bin Laden slammed the publication of drawings insulting to the Prophet Muhammad in a new audio message posted late Wednesday and warned Europeans of a strong reaction to come.

The message, which appeared on a militant Web site that has carried al-Qaida statements in the past and bore the logo of the extremist group’s media wing al-Sahab, showed a still image of bin Laden aiming with an AK-47.

A voice believed to be bin Laden’s described the cartoons as taking place in the framework of a “new Crusade” against Islam and warned Europeans that a reaction would come.

“The response will be what you see and not what you hear and let our mothers bereave us if we do not make victorious our messenger of God,” he said, without specifying what action would be taken.

The tape was posted less than a week after the Danish intelligence service said the reprinting of a cartoon depicting the Prophet Muhammad had brought “negative attention” to Denmark and may have increased the risk to Danes at home and abroad.

Danish newspapers republished a cartoon showing Muhammad wearing a bomb-shaped turban on Feb. 13 to show their commitment to freedom of speech after police said they had uncovered a plot to kill the artist.

It’s unbelievable that Bin Laden and other radical Muslims are still making noise about those damn cartoons. The fact that Bin Laden and his sympathizers are willing to murder people over a cartoon really shows the kind of tyrannical vision they have for freedom loving countries.

So in the interest of poking an Islamic radical in the eye, we are reposting a few of the Danish cartoons that Muslims find so offensive.

If only more people had the guts to speak out against Islam. So many people live under threats and intimidation from radical Muslims all over the world. People are forced to practice self-censorship in democratic countries so as not to spark violent protests and riots. That’s not going to ever fly in America. I’ll say whatever the hell I want to about Mohammad and I may even draw a cartoon of him.

Any Muslims that don’t like it are free to issue a fatwa or two against me or event threaten to cut my head off. In the words of President George W. Bush, “Bring it on.”

British Teacher Faces Whipping in Sudan For Naming Teddy Bear “Mohammed”

November 27, 2007 · Filed Under Islam, Muslims, World News · Comment

Here is another shining example of that peaceful and tolerant religion known as Islam.

From CNN:

Gillian Gibbons, 54, has been accused of blasphemy and is being held by police in the capital Khartoum, Kirsty Saunders, British Foreign Office spokeswoman told CNN.

Police arrested the school teacher after she asked her class of seven-year-olds to come up with a name for the toy as part of a school project, according to widespread media reports.

Parents of students at the Unity High School in Khartoum informed the authorities and Gibbons was taken into custody Sunday, Saunders told CNN.

So far Gibbons has yet to be charged with any offense, however, under Sudanese law, insulting Islam is punishable with 40 lashes, a jail term of up to six months or a fine, she said.

However, a Sudanese official told CNN that if police decided that Gibbons had acted in good faith, she would most likely be spared punishment.

“If the intentions are good, definitely she will be absolved and will be cautioned not to repeat this thing again,” Mutrif Siddig, Sudan’s under secretary for foreign affairs, said.

Saunders said that under Sudan’s laws a person can be held for no more than 24 hours without charge.

Asked if British authorities were concerned that Gibbons had been held for longer than that time, she said “we are happy that all the correct procedures are being followed.”

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Tuesday he was “very sorry” about Gibbons’ arrest and that the British embassy in Khartoum was “giving all appropriate consular assistance to her.”

He said all efforts were being taken to ensure her early release and that government officials were in touch with the teacher’s family in the northern British city of Liverpool.

A representative for her two grown up children — her daughter Jessica and son John — told CNN they wished to be left alone until their mother was released.

Gibbons had been working at the school — popular with wealthy Sudanese and expatriates — since August, after leaving her position as deputy headteacher at a primary school in Liverpool this summer.

On her entry on the social networking Web site MySpace, Gibbons wrote: “I am a teacher in a school in Khartoum, in Sudan. I like to make the most out of life.”

According to the entry, she said her passion was travel and she was hoping to make the most of her time in Sudan by visiting nearby countries.

According to a report in The Times newspaper, Gibbons had asked the children to pick their favorite name for the new class mascot, which she was using to aid lessons about animals and their habitats.

A member of the Sudanese government told CNN Muslim parents at the school informed the authorities after considering that her actions were offensive to their faith.

Mutrif Siddig, Sudan’s under secretary for foreign affairs, said: “To give the name of Mohammed to this teddy bear, it was considered as insult by some parents. And this school is mixed, it is not all Christian students.”

Gibbons was recruited to work in Sudan by QTS Worldwide, an education consultancy based in the northern county of West Yorkshire.

Eric Liddell, who runs QTS, refused to comment on the incident but said that he had spoken to members of the Unity High School staff, who were hopeful that the British teacher would be released.

Separately, CNN contacted a member of staff, who confirmed the school had been shut down temporarily as a result of the incident involving Gibbons. He refused to give his name and said no other members of staff were available.

Ridiculous doesn’t even begin to describe that story. A teacher from Britain has no business being in a stink hole like Sudan to begin with, much less living there.

As terrible as her situation is, she’s actually pretty lucky it was only the Police who grabbed her. She could have very easily been kidnapped and beheaded by terrorists.

Defending the term “Islamofascism”

October 22, 2007 · Filed Under Liberals, Terrorism, Terrorists · Comment

Christopher Hitchens defends using the term “Islamofascism” in a new column for Slate magazine. When it comes to religion I think Christopher Hitchens is dead wrong, but on terrorism he almost always gets it right.

The term “Islamofascism” makes liberals feel all icky inside, but it’s a very accurate way to describe radical Islam. Hitchens discusses the history of the term and exactly why it’s a legitimate and accurate word.

He also points out that liberals like Alan Colmes actually think that one shouldn’t use the word Islamic even to designate jihad, because to do so is to risk “incriminating an entire religion.”

If we can’t use the word Islamic to describe a radical ideology based on Islam, then I think we should just not talk anymore.
