The “Rev.” Jesse Jackson told a crowd of cheering sycophants that Michelle Obama is indeed taking over America’s dietary decisions and it’s a good thing. He then listed a dozen or so other areas the government should take over. The crowd went wild. I threw up.

I have to make an admission about this story right from the start. I wasn’t aware until reading this that CNN’s Soledad O’Brian is black. It’s not something I sit around thinking about, but it just never occurred to me.

Anyway, Soledad has written her memoir and in it she tells of an encounter she had with Jesse Jackson some time back. She went to lunch with Jackson and during the meal he began ranting about CNN not having any black anchors. Soledad said to him, “what about me?” and he said “you don’t count.”

O’Brian said she was deeply hurt by the comment and it caused her to question everything she’d come to believe about herself. She has a black mother and a white father, but had always considered herself black.

I was both angry and embarrassed, which rarely happens at the same time for me. Jesse Jackson managed to make me ashamed of my skin color which even white people had never been able to do. Not the kids in the hallways at Smithtown or the guys who wouldn’t date me in high school. I remember the marchers behind me at the trial about the black youth/kid who beat the Latino baby. The folks that chanted “biracial whore for the white man’s media,” even they didn’t even make feel this way. I would just laugh. Biracial, sure, whore, not exactly, white man’s media, totally! Whatever. But Reverend Jesse Jackson says, “I don’t count?”

I am immediately upset and annoyed and the even more annoyed that I am upset and pissed off. If Reverend Jesse Jackson didn’t think I was black enough, then what was I? My parents had so banged racial identity into my head that the thoughts of racial doubt never crossed my mind. I’d suffered an Afro through the heat of elementary school. I’d certainly never felt white. I thought my version of black was as valid as anybody else’s. I was a product of my parents (black woman, white man) my town (mostly white), multiracial to be sure, but not black? I felt like the foundation I’d built my life on was being denied, as if someone was telling me my parents aren’t my parents. “You know those people you’ve been calling mom and dad — they aren’t really your parents. What?” The arbiter of blackness had weighed in. I had been measured and found wanting.

What O’Brian fails to realize is that Jesse Jackson is just an old racist. Who the f*ck made him judge and jury on who is and isn’t black? We saw tinges of this when Jackson was caught on an open mic viciously insulting Barack Obama during the campaign. Jackson doesn’t just hate white people, he hates a lot of black people too. Unless you’re the right kind of black, Jesse doesn’t know you and doesn’t want to know you. You think he gives a flying f*ck about Justice Clarence Thomas? Of course not. He’s nothing but an “Uncle Tom.”

Nobody should let Jesse Jackson make them feel bad about themselves. Jesse makes a living by stoking racial divisions keeping the culture of victimhood alive in black America. He’s a race hustler and a phony.

Professional race hustler Jesse Jackson played his favorite card — the race card — while celebrating the 25th anniversary of his failed presidential bid.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson on Wednesday night criticized Rep. Artur Davis (D-Ala.) for voting against the Democrats’ signature healthcare bill.

“We even have blacks voting against the healthcare bill,” Jackson said at a reception Wednesday night. “You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.”

The remark stirred a murmur at the reception, held by the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Foundation as part of a series of events revolving around the 25th anniversary of Jackson’s run for president. Several CBC members were in attendance, including Chairwoman Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), who’d introduced Jackson. 

Davis, who is running for governor, is the only black member of Congress from Alabama.

He is also the only member of the CBC to have voted against the healthcare bill earlier this month.

It’s because of people like Jackson and Sharpton that the black community is in such bad shape today. What Jackson was in effect saying is that you cannot call yourself a black man if you’re not dependant on the government.

Radical blacks love to demonize and intimidate other blacks who get out of line by accusing them of not being a “real” black person.

If you’re black and a republican — you’re not really black.

If you’re black and against government run health care — you’re not really black.

If you’re black and against cradle to grave entitlements — you’re not really black.

This reminds me of the subtle attempt by Barbara Boxer recently to smear a black conservative who appeared in front of her committee — but he called her on it.

Why can’t you be black AND believe in private health insurance and individual responsibility?

Jesse Jackson is a disgrace and the fact that nobody stood up for Rep. Davis shows what sheep members of the Congressional Black Caucus are. But, since most members of the CBC are radical black Marxists anyway, I guess it’s really no surprise.

Jesse Jackson is confirming what most sane people have known for a long time. Barack Obama is gonna throw in with the Palestinians (the terrorists) rather than with our greatest ally Israel (the good guys).

Jackson said this about an Obama administration to the NY Post:

The most important change would occur in the Middle East, where “decades of putting Israel’s interests first” would end.

Jackson believes that, although “Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades” remain strong, they’ll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House.

…”Bush was so afraid of a snafu and of upsetting Israel that he gave the whole thing a miss,” Jackson says. “Barack will change that,” because, as long as the Palestinians haven’t seen justice, the Middle East will “remain a source of danger to us all.”

“Barack is determined to repair our relations with the world of Islam and Muslims,” Jackson says. “Thanks to his background and ecumenical approach, he knows how Muslims feel while remaining committed to his own faith.”

Of course, Barry’s campaign will no doubt deny that Barack believes “Zionists” have controlled anything, but you’re an idiot if you believe that. Barack Obama has surrounded himself with anti-Semites and black nationalists like Rev. Wright throughout his entire career.

On The Factor last night, Bill O’Reilly said Fox News had much more damaging footage of Jesse Jackson’s “hot mic” episode but chose not to air it.

Obviously, telling people you have something they can’t see is gonna get chins wagging and bloggers digging. So it should come as no surprise that the thugs over at Gawker are claiming to have a source inside Fox News that’s giving details on the missing Jackson footage.

The supposed insider is telling Gawker that among other things Jackson used the n-word when referring to Obama. It says a lot that America’s biggest race hustler has such disdain for the first black man with a real shot at winning the White House.

The O’Reilly Factor will air exclusive video of the Rev. Jesse Jackson making disparaging comments about Sen. Barack Obama. TVNewser has learned the comments were made prior to an interview Jackson did Sunday morning on Fox & Friends. We’re told some of the comments are so raw that O’Reilly will most likely only run a couple of soundbites.

The video will show Jackson chatting with Reid Tuckson, EVP of United Health Group. The two were at Fox News Channel’s Chicago bureau getting ready to be interviewed about a new health care initiative.

Jackson was apparently unaware his microphone was hot when he made the comments about Obama, which we’re told are racial in nature.
