DeMint Touts Palin’s Contributions To GOP, Compares To Reagan

Sen. Jim DeMint says he’s never actually met Sarah Palin, but she did send him a nice note once. Nevertheless, he says Palin has done more for the GOP than anyone since Ronald Reagan.

“We’ve never spoken, but she left me a nice message, and I believe she’s done more for the Republican Party than anyone since Ronald Reagan,” DeMint said.

DeMint deserves a lot of credit for being a stand-up guy when it comes to Palin. Instead of jockying for position in 2012 by belittling her the way Huckabee, Rove, and other Republicans do he acknowledges her accomplishments. The fact is Palin was a huge factor in the big Republican gains in Congress.

Republican Senator Jim DeMint is taking on the Obama administration’s outrageous Honduras policy. John Kerry attempted to stop DeMint from taking a trip to Honduras, but DeMint gave him a swift kick in the tookus.

Kudos to DeMint for raising a stink over Honduras. It’s disgraceful that President Obama chooses dictators over democracy.

Lefties Organizing To Disrupt Sen. DeMint’s Town Hall

Democrats and their media allies continue to claim the town hall protesters lately are nothing but organized mobs sent out by right-wing groups. As we’ve seen from the coverage, this is not the case. 95% of the folks turning out are simply upset and want to be heard.

The left on the other hand, is organizing to disrupt town halls. A liberal blogger in Connecticut and member of Obama’s “Organizing For America” group is planning to disrupt Sen. Jim DeMint’s upcoming town hall.

I don’t really have a problem with the left doing this. Frankly, it’s what the left has always done.

The real outrage is the hypocrisy of the media for ignoring lefty protests, and vilifying conservative ones.
