Karl Rove attacked the idea of Donald Trump moderating an upcoming GOP debate. Predictably, Trump was quick to respond:

In response to comments from Karl Rove that candidates should skip the debate at the end of December to be moderated by Donald Trump, Trump said that in his opinion Rove was “highly overrated,” and “basically is a loser.” Rove says that  a Trump-moderated debate would trivialize the process

“I don’t think that Karl Rove is a smart person. I think he’s highly overrated,” said Trump, on a conference call about his new book. “I’ve watched Karl Rove for years. He’s a man who is only after Karl Rove, and he’s part of the problem with the Republican Party.

Rove, he said, “did such a bad job with Bush in that final period of time that no Republican could have possibly beaten Obama or any other Democrat.

I love a good Trump punch back as much as anyone, but this one is just dumb. You can say many things about Karl Rove, but “loser” is not one of them. Karl Rove is arguably the most successful Republican political consultant in America. He helped George W. Bush win two terms as Governor of Texas and two terms in The White House. Karl Rove didn’t have jack sh*t to do with John McCain’s horrific campaign. Rove is certainly part of the Republican establishment which has not served the party well in recent years, but to call him a “loser” is absurd.

I’m not entirely sure what far left kook John Conyers is saying here, but it’s weird. He does call for a “re-investigation” of Karl Rove, and promises that ObamaCare is a first step towards single payer healthcare.

On an unrelated note, did you know his wife was recently sent to prison for corruption?

It really was disgraceful the way Karl Rove acted towards Christine O’Donnell’s victory the other night on Hannity. I have no problem with him voicing concerns with her candidacy, but not like that and not on her victory night. Her democratic opponent doesn’t even need to do any research now. He can just tout all the smears that Rove listed on Hannity’s show. It was an ugly, vicious, and hugely unfair display. I like Karl Rove too, I just hope he takes his head out of his ass before November. I think Palin is absolutely right. The old guard that’s been running the GOP machine is lashing out because they see their power slipping away.

Rush rightly ripped into Rove for attacking and smearing Christine O’Donnell last night on Hannity. I haven’t seen Rush this animated in a long time.

Sean Hannity is quite pleased with the Christine O’Donnell upset victory in Delaware. He thinks throwing that phony RINO Republican out of office is a good thing. O’Donnell is a principled conservative. Rove on the other hand seems genuinely ticked off about the whole thing.

I love Karl Rove. I think he’s one of the most brilliant political strategists this country and this party has ever produced. But at the end of the day he’s still a machine guy. He’s a Republican first and a conservative second. We had the Republican first crowd running the country for 8 years and they acted just like democrats.

It’s time that real conservatives took the party back from the progressive republicans and the machine politicians. People who assume that Christine O’Donnell has no shot at winning are idiots. I bet those same people thought a community organizer turned freshman senator from Chicago couldn’t be elected president either.  We know how that turned out.

The media virtually ignored the outrageous behavior of Code Pink at the Karl Rove book signing. Had it been the Tea Party folks disrupting some leftist book signing the media would have gone wild.

“The Architect” Karl Rove lays out the ugly truth about the housing crisis and how it came to be in his latest column for the WSJ. Don’t buy into the left-wing narrative that “Bush economic policies” are to blame for our lot in life.

To the contrary, it was Bush and the republicans who spent years trying to push through legislation that would have brought Fannie and Freddie under control. Unfortunately, the legislation was always blocked courtesy of the democrats led by Barney Frank and Chris Dodd.

I was just thinking the other day that I haven’t seen the Code Pinkos off their meds in a while, but they made a strong and ridiculous comeback on Tuesday.

Former Bush aide Karl Rove (The Devil) was on a panel in San Francisco discussing the mortgage crisis, when all of a sudden one of the broads from Code Pink appears on stage and attempts to handcuff Rove. She screamed that she was making a “citizen’s arrest” of Karl for ‘”treason.”

Security appeared seconds later and dragged the woman from the stage and booted her out along with five other Pinkos in the audience.
