Faux conservative columnist Kathleen Parker is whining about the widespread happiness young people have expressed over the death of Bin Laden. What an idiot. And for the record, “happiness” isn’t a strong enough word for how I feel about Bin Laden’s death. In fact, I’m not sure a word exists that adequately expresses it. If only we could bring him back long enough to kill him again. Do I have a bloodlust for killing Islamic terrorists? Absolutely. Am I ashamed of that? Not at all.

I’m so tired of hearing the media refer to Kathleen Parker as a “conservative columnist.” She’s not a conservative. Like David Brooks at The NY Slimes Times, Parker represents the liberal fantasy of what conservatives should be like. That is to say — not very conservative.

I do have to give Parker credit though, because she at least has the guts to admit it:

To clear the air beforeParker Spitzer debuted, Parker described her politics to Larry King as only “slightly to the right of center.”

…“I got labeled a conservative by the marketplace. I’ve never actually declared myself a conservative.”

Look for the media to keep trotting her out for the “conservative” point of view.
