Obama Media: NBC Sells “YES WE DID” Shirts
NBC is absolutely NOT in the tank for Obama. I don’t care what the shirts say, they are completely objective.
Oh well, at least they’re finally admitting it.
Mediaite Joins Daily Kos In Blaming Glenn Beck For Causing Violence
Mediaite is the new website created by MSNBC left-winger Dan Abrams that covers media related gossip, etc. So far, the site has been pretty fair but I guess it was only a matter of time until it devolved into yet another dishonest, progressive cesspool.
Proof of this comes from a phony story by Steve Krakauer with the blaring headline “Tipping Point? Glenn Beck Fan Arrested With Guns and Ammo.”
The NY Post is reporting that a single mother was arrested with guns and ammo in her car for allegedly scouting out and taking pictures of an Air National Guard base in the Hamptons.
Not surprisingly, the nutty left wingers at Daily Kos went to work scouring the woman’s background looking for some kind link to right-wing “extremism.”
Low and behold they discover on her MySpace page that she’s a fan of Glenn Beck! Ha! There’s the connection! She posted a clip of Glenn Beck on her Myspace page which obviously means Glenn is to blame.
As someone who’s never missed an episode of Glenn Beck since he came to Fox News, I don’t recall him ever advocating violence or implying that he was advocating for violence against anyone.
Furthermore, Glenn Beck has done nothing but praise military and law enforcement and often has them as guests on his show.
It’s complete lunacy to suggest that anything Glenn Beck has ever said would drive someone to case a military base and plot violence.
Making that kind of phony connection is something to be expected from the scumbags at Daily Kos. They’ll say anything and make up anything to further their destructive progressive agenda.
I just find it disappointing that Mediaite decided to run with the phony Kos narrative and pretend as if it’s a legitimate issue.
Steve Krakauer really is a sleazy asshole for writing such a pathetic story. He talks about Glenn Beck’s “dangerous side” like when he called Obama a racist last week. It’s apparently fine for the left to call anyone on the right a racist for anything at anytime, but to call the president a racist — that’s dangerous talk.
Krakauer goes on to label the woman arrested as a “deranged Beck viewer” which is laughable. How do we know she wasn’t a deranged “Oprah” viewer? Maybe a deranged “American Idol” viewer? Or how about a deranged “24” viewer?
The truth is that Krakauer and his Kos buddies can’t stand the fact that Fox News exists. If it weren’t for Fox, Obama’s plans to turn America into a socialist utopia would go completely unchallenged.
Beck, O’Reilly, Hannity, and a few others are the sole voices of opposition in an otherwise compliant Obama media.
The rank hypocrisy of people like Steve Krakauer and his ilk is breathtaking. During the Bush years, Keith Olbermann took over-the-top rhetoric to new heights with his anti-Bush screeds.
He called the president a liar, a fascist, a killer, and told the American people in a dark and brooding tone that Bush was illegally wiretapping the entire country. He repeatedly told his viewers that Bush had “blood on his hands” for the war in Iraq and called him a “pathological liar.”
If Glenn Beck’s message can drive someone to violence, then so can Keith Olbermann’s.

Here are some of Keith’s Greatest hits:
Video: Obama Defends Bush From Liberal Spin
This is one of the greatest recent examples of the left-wing media at work. Listen to CBS’s Harry Smith put an appalling spin on president Bush’s recent public comments.
It was such a gruesome distortion by Smith that even Obama couldn’t let it slide and was forced to defend president Bush.
I have to give credit to president Obama on this one. He showed real class by not letting Harry Smith get away with that.
Had the president not corrected Smith, the vast majority of viewers at home would never have known what Bush actually said and just assumed he had publicly attacked the president.
Most citizens only pay passing attention to the news and current events. So the constant lies and distortions put out by the liberal media in both print and on TV are taken as fact when they’re anything but.
Lefty Media In Love With Fox’s Shepard Smith
Normally the only thing directed towards Fox News by television media, print media, online media, or any other media are smears and attack pieces.
Recently however, the liberal media has found a Fox News hero and it’s Shepard Smith.
Comments he’s made over the last year or so and as recently as last week have earned him numerous glowing reviews in the NY Times, Esquire, and other liberal venues.
Liberals have love for Smith because some of his comments have been perceived as being antagonistic towards conservatives.
The truth is that Shepard Smith has more credibility in a single strand of his perfectly quaffed hair than Brian Williams has in his entire body.
What the left quickly forgets is that Shepard Smith has a history of incensing people on both sides of the aisle.
Here’s one of my personal favorite Shep clips. It’s from February of last year, and Smith rips into radical leftist kook Naomi Wolf.
Wolf is the author of possibly the craziest left-wing conspiracy book ever written called “The End Of America.”
Hey, what happened? I thought Shepard was a tool of the left? I thought he was all about attacking right-wingers? What the hell is going on in this crazy world?

Homeland Security Goes For Round Two On Domestic “Extremists”
Right on the heels of their last blunder with domestic “extremism,” DHS has released a “lexicon” cataloguing terms to be listened for that might indicate someone is an “extremist” (meaning, conservative or republican).
To be fair, a lot of the terms listed are reasonable and legitimate. It’s the small things that tell you that a partisan lefty is behind it.
For instance, you’re considered an “anti-immigration extremist” if you oppose the government issuing driver’s licenses to illegal aliens, providing in-state tuition, medical benefits, and a free public education.
You’re a “rightwing extremist” if you reject federal authority in favor of state and local authority.
What is strangely absent from the document is any mention whatsoever of Islamic extremism. I would think in this post 9/11 world we live in that would have been at the top of the list, but sadly that would be too politically incorrect.
Which is why the entire document is phony and the motivations behind it are phony. When the biggest threat to America is not even mentioned, but people opposed to illegal immigration are — it’s obvious what this is all about.

Surprise: The Liberal Media Elite Have Secret Dinners
Howard Kurtz has an interesting piece in the WaPo today about lavish secret dinners the liberal media have with White House big wigs hosted by David Bradley, owner of the Atlantic.
As with their secret email list, the liberal media swears this is all innocent conversation with good friends and even better food.
Yeah, right.
Shocker: NY Times Buries Story About Success Of Enhanced Interrogations
The NY Times gleefully trumpeted the release of the so-called “torture memos” ringing every last drop of ink and pixel out of the story as it could, while quietly burying the story about the success of enhanced interrogations. One would think acknowledgment by Obama’s own intelligence director that “High value information came from interrogations in which those methods were used and provided a deeper understanding of the al Qa’ida organization that was attacking this country” would be news. However, the NY Times chose to put that part of the story online only.
Their excuse for this is simply that the paper ran out of room. Yeah, sure it did. The NY Times has relentlessly flogged the “torture” narrative for years and written 100+ front page stories on it. So it’s mighty convenient that The Times would run out of room in their paper on the very day an Obama official confirms what the Bush administration has been saying for years — that the enhanced interrogation program was a big success.

Video: Chris Wallace Calls Out NY Times For Liberal Bias On CIA Memos
Here’s a great demonstration of liberal bias from Fox New’s Chris Wallace:
The NY Times Killed Major Obama-ACORN Story Just Before Election
It has now been revealed that the NY Times killed a major story about the Obama-ACORN connection just before the election, because it would have been a “game changer.” Which proves what we’ve known all along, that the NY Times and every other liberal rag is in the advocacy business not the news gathering business.
Pathetic, shameful, and even repugnant — but so predictable.

Left Wing Media Cabal Revealed
When liberals talk of a “vast right-wing conspiracy” it’s really a form of projection. On Politico today, Michael Calderone reveals where the liberal media hones their talking points for the week and decides what far left messages to push — it’s called JournoList.
For the past two years, several hundred left-leaning bloggers, political reporters, magazine writers, policy wonks and academics have talked stories and compared notes in an off-the-record online meeting space called JournoList.
But some of the journalists who participate in the online discussion say — off the record, of course — that it has been a great help in their work. On the record, The New Yorker’s Jeffrey Toobin acknowledged that a Talk of the Town piece — he won’t say which one — got its start in part via a conversation on JournoList. And JLister Eric Alterman, The Nation writer and CUNY professor, said he’s seen discussions that start on the list seep into the world beyond.
Calderone had a tough time finding anyone who would even speak about JournoList on the record, because every member is sworn to secrecy. Those who would talk claim the secrecy makes it seem nefarious, but in reality there is no agenda behind the secret ListServ.
It seems a little strange that a group with allegedly “no agenda” would be made up exclusively of far-left pinko journalists.
Some of the members of JournoList include:
Nobel Prize-winning columnist Paul Krugman; staffers from Newsweek, POLITICO, Huffington Post, The New Republic, The Nation and The New Yorker; policy wonks, academics and bloggers such as Klein and Matthew Yglesias.
I suspect the commentary on JournoList is all the republican bashing, Israel bashing, military bashing, Iraq bashing, and general America bashing the pinko journalists just can’t get away with printing.
The larger story here is the unbelievably breathtaking hypocrisy of the leftist media. They constantly claim that Fox News is somehow in bed the with the GOP when in fact the media, academia, and the democratic party are engaging in orgies that would make Porn Valley jealous.

Matthews Tries To Explain His “Oh God” Comment Before Jindal Rebuttal
Left-wing kook Chris Matthews says it was the “peculiar stagecraft” of the Jindal rebuttal that caused him to say “oh God” seconds before Gov. Bobby Jindal gave the republican response to Barack Obama:
I was taken aback by that peculiar stagecraft, the walking from somewhere in the back of this narrow hall, this winding staircase looming there, the odd anti-bellum look [sic] of the scene. Was this some mimicking of a president walking along the state floor to the East Room?
Matthews can say whatever the fuck he wants to, but we all know what he really meant. He said “Oh God” because the thought of having to listen to an evil republican after that inspiring/Churchillian/Reaganesque/Lincolnesque/Second coming of FDR speech that Obama delivered was almost too much to bear. MSNBC likes the cut of Obama’s jib and sees no reason to pollute the airwaves with republican talking points. The network proved once more that they’re not only the most discredited and despicable cable “news” channel, but also the most unprofessional bunch of assholes to ever take to the airwaves (as if we didn’t know that already).
Here’s the “Oh God” remark in case you missed it…
NBC Cancels Coulter, No Criticisms Of Obama Allowed
It’s certainly no secret that NBC is in the tank for Obama. They decided to become the Obama network pretty much the day he announced his candidacy. But if you thought they couldn’t possibly get any more pathetic in their worship of all things Obama — they just did.
According to Matt Drudge, Ann Coulter was booked several months ago to appear on a number of NBC shows as part of her media tour promoting her latest book called “Guilty” which came out today.
In it, she pulls no punches in describing the outrageous liberal bias in the media and how it got Barack Obama elected president. However, today NBC canceled Ann’s appearances at the last minute claiming they were “overbooked” and ran out of time. Yet for some reason, they had enough time to interview blogger Perez Hilton about his new book. Incidentally, Hilton promised on the air to give anyone who throws a pie at Ann Coulter $1,000 dollars.
Drudge says he spoke with an insider at NBC who told him the real reason Coulter was cancelled:
“We are just not interested in anyone so highly critical
of President-elect Obama, right now,” a TODAY insider reveals. “It’s
such a downer. It’s just not the time, and it’s not what our audience
wants, either.”
Yeah, it’s such a bummer when people are mean to Obama. Coulter says the book is actually not too critical of Obama himself, but rather the despicable media (see NBC).
Head over to Drudge Report to read the rest of the sordid tale.
