The fact that this yahoo is anywhere near becoming a senator is chilling to say the least.
Gore Vidal Says John McCain Is No War Hero
For a guy the NY Times affectionately labels “one of America’s last public intellectuals,” Gore Vidal might be the dumbest man alive.
In an interview with the NY Times that ran yesterday, Vidal was asked what he thought about John McCain. Here’s what was said:
…what about Mr. McCain? Disaster. Who started this rumor that he was a war hero? Where does that come from, aside from himself? About his suffering in the prison war camp?
Everyone knows he was a prisoner of war in North Vietnam. That’s what he tells us.
Why would you doubt him? He’s a graduate of Annapolis. I know a lot of the Annapolis breed. Remember, I’m West Point, where I was born. My father went there.
Yeah, who the hell started that rumor? I guess Gore Vidal thinks the reason John McCain can’t lift his arms above his chest is because he got stoned and fell off someone’s roof back in the day. I guess the extensive video footage of him being held by those Vietnamese looking fellas was an elaborate hoax.
If Gore Vidal wants to keep the ruse going about him being an “intellectual” he should get back on his meds immediately.
Jimmy Carter Shows How Much He Hates The Jews–Again
For the second time in recent weeks, honorary Palestinian militant and former President, Jimmy Carter, opined about Mid-East peace and offered his own foreign policy.
While in the Welsh border town of Hay to attend the Guardian literary festival, Carter told the Guardian that Britain and other European governments should break from the US over the international embargo on Gaza.
He described the EU’s position on the Israeli-Palestinian dispute as “supine” and its failure to criticise the Israeli blockade of Gaza as “embarrassing”.
He also called on the EU to reassess its position on Hamas if the terrorist group agrees to a cease-fire.
Carter never misses an opportunity to criticize Israel and carry water for Hamas. I really think the old man has lost it. Hamas is one of the most vicious terrorist groups on earth, and a former President of the United States hugs these people and constantly shills for them.
Never mind the constant rocket attacks on Israeli civilians or the 4-ton truck bomb that detonated at the border with Gaza instead of Israel thanks to an alert Israeli soldier.
For Carter it’s all about peace and negotiation and hugs, but Carter doesn’t live in the real world. That’s why he allowed Iran to make a mockery of America while he was President.
When President Bush spoke of appeasement while in Israel recently, he was speaking about Jimmy Carter. Carter has shown himself to be the world’s biggest appeaser time and time again.

Michael Moore is making a sequel to “Fahrenheit 9/11″ for Paramount Vantage and Overture Films, who will shop the project to international buyers when the Cannes Film Festival and market get under way today.
…Sequel will pick up where “Fahrenheit” left off. In the time since, President Bush’s popularity has plummeted, while the Iraq war continues and the economy falters.
Just what we need, another America-bashing propaganda film from Michael Moore.
College Degrees are Useless
There are men in corporate life and in Congress that are busy destroying your kid’s education while you watch the unpaid balance go through the roof. Why is the future of our country being sold off like some calf at an auction? It’s so the top 1% of the population can have their Swiss bank accounts swell with each passing day.
Yes, the money you’re spending is as worthless as Confederate currency after the Civil War. In order for your kids to reap the benefit of their education they’ll have to accept job offers under $5,000/year to compete with Asian PhDs who can live on $5-10/day because of the area of the world they live. A PC and an internet connection make every poor person on earth competitors of your kids. So when you hear politicians say our kids need a first class education to compete in the new world market, they are lying.
Even jobs that do not require a degree are being destroyed by millions of illegal immigrants flooding across our borders, offering to work under minimum wage, which already can’t provide a living.
Let’s invite the CEOs to join the jobs they are so anxious to send out of the country. From now on; the Chairman of the Board, all Board of Directors members, and all upper management are to be expelled from our country along with their families for the balance of their lives. They think Mexico or China is so great—so move there and stay there. AmericaAmerica has to sell their belongings to buy food. There’s not much left of what was the greatest country on earth. At least we should have the satisfaction of seeing all the traitors pack up and leave, never to return.
Before you think Americans are the only victims of greed in the US, Mexicans call NAFTA SHAFTA because of millions of farmers that lost their land to corporations in lowering the prices to the point of starving the farmers off the land. Throughout the world international corporations, most with headquarters in the US or the Cayman Islands, are stripping the natural resources and lowering the wages of indigenous people to a level of starvation, why? For the additional wealth of the top 1% who can’t seem to get enough money, no matter how much they have.
The world is evolving quickly into a slave planet. The New World Order may not have wars, but being alive will lose whatever meaning it has now.

Nobel laureate Says 9/11 attacks “not that bad”
Nobel laureate Doris Lessing said the Sept. 11 attacks in the United States were “not that terrible” when compared to attacks by the IRA in Britain.
“September 11 was terrible, but if one goes back over the history of the IRA, what happened to the Americans wasn’t that terrible,” the Nobel Literature Prize winner told the leading Spanish daily El Pais.
“Some Americans will think I’m crazy. Many people died, two prominent buildings fell, but it was neither as terrible nor as extraordinary as they think. They’re a very naive people, or they pretend to be,” she said in an interview published Sunday.
“Do you know what people forget? That the IRA attacked with bombs against our government; it killed several people while a Conservative congress was being held and in which the prime minister, Margaret Thatcher, was (attending). People forget,” she said.
Nearly 3,000 people were killed in the Sept. 11 attacks. About 3,700 died and tens of thousands of people were maimed in more than 30 years of violence in Northern Ireland. The Irish Republican Army guerrilla group, which caused most of the deaths, disarmed in 2005.
She also had choice comments for President Bush and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
“I always hated Tony Blair, from the beginning,” El Pais quoted Lessing as saying. “Many of us hated Tony Blair, I think he has been a disaster for Britain and we have suffered him for many years. I said it when he was elected: This man is a little showman who is going to cause us problems and he did.”
“As for Bush, he’s a world calamity,” added Lessing. “Everyone is tired of this man. Either he is stupid or he is very clever, although you have to remember he is a member of a social class which has profited from wars.”
I think the old broad should “pipe-down” and go write another boring book.
