In case you hadn’t heard, faux scientist and “global warming” charlatan Al Gore is now comparing climate change “deniers” to racists. National Journal’s Major Garrett was a guest on Dennis Miller’s radio program. The two weighed in on Gore’s latest idiocy.

Former Fox News reporter Major Garrett was bloviating on MSLSD MSNBC this morning and said this:

Because of that longstanding relationship with Fox, it was becoming increasingly, I think — and Juan and I had had some conversations about this — that NPR was increasingly unhappy with him, because it was getting blowback from some of its listeners about seeing Juan so often on Fox. That speaks to a problem that neither Fox nor NPR can solve, because neither want to solve it, which is the polarization of American media. For a certain amount of marketing points of view, Fox actually wants to keep that polarization and say, look, we’re different. We’re dramatically different; you can see how we’re different. And if you like that difference, you better come over here and you better stay here. That is an embedded part of the marketing that surrounded what happens at the news division at Fox that’s been incredibly successful.

Former Fox News reporter Major Garrett recently kicked off his new gig over at National Journal. Along with that new gig comes the freedom to appear on any network that wishes to book him. Sadly, but interestingly here he is on MSNBC talking to Tingles.

As we told you recently, Fox News’s Major Garrett is leaving FNC to write for National Journal. He recently recorded his final “Ask Major” video answering viewer questions.

I was stunned when I read this over at Mediaite. Major Garrett is leaving Fox News to return to his roots in print journalism. He’s taking a job with National Journal.
