Albino Chris Matthews never misses an opportunity to inject race into a conversation. Especially, when he can smear Republicans as somehow hostile to blacks. For a race baiter like Matthews, there’s no better day than Martin Luther King’s birthday to launch a racial attack against Republicans. And that’s exactly what he did.

I go to Republican convention; I go to Democrat [convention] and as a white guy one of the things I notice about the difference – one thing I notice about black people at different conventions [is] you go to the Democrat convention [and] black folk are hanging together, having a good time. They’re smiling and enjoying themselves. They feel very much at home. You go to Republican [convention] – you get the feeling you are all told individually ‘now don’t bunch up; don’t get together, don’t crowd or you’ll scare these people’. Is that true in the Republican Party? Is that still true in your party?

Did you fear that if you got together with some other African Americans that white guys might get scared of you?

I’m starting to think the libs are right. Vitriolic rhetoric does incite people to violence. When I see a horse’s ass like Matthews say something as outrageous, egregious, and beyond the pale as that, I want to know how Michael Steele can keep from getting violent right there on the set.

Chris Matthews is truly one of the most loathsome, despicable, pieces of garbage ever to sit behind a news desk. He’s a disgraceful bigot and a sh*t stain on our national discourse.

I love this. It’s so damn political. Even as Politico churns out hit pieces from anonymous GOP sources calling Sarah Palin is unelectable, the 2012 presidential hopefuls in the GOP are singing her praises.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) said Monday it would be "great" for former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) to run for president in 2012.

"She would be a great thing for the Republican primary process," said Romney, a 2008 presidential candidate and a potential candidate again in 2012. "It’d be a good thing for her to get in."

Romney, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Steele and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) have all rallied around Palin, who on Sunday night condemned suggestions that GOP operatives in Washington were looking to stall any potential presidential aspirations she might have.

"The story is nonsense. Because first of all I know Sarah Palin pretty well, and if she wants to run there’s not going to be any Washington elites stopping her," Romney told conservative talker Laura Ingraham on Monday on her radio show.
Steele, who’s appeared on the campaign trail with Palin at times this fall, told her critics to "shut up."

The reason I find this so amusing is because none of these fools would dare say anything nasty about Palin in public — the Tea Party would destroy them. So these cowards talk trash to the media behind the scenes and praise her in public. At least Rove has the balls to criticize her in public. Of course, he’s not running for anything. And he’s wrong.

I think a Palin run would be exciting. I tend to think whatever the GOP establishment wants we should do the opposite. They hate Palin. I love her. I also think she probably will run. If she does there’s a very good chance she’ll win the nomination. The conventional wisdom is that her nomination would hand Obama another four years. I say the fortune tellers and prognosticators have been wrong about Palin every step of the way. She’s proven herself to be a worthy political adversary.
