“The Great One” Mark Levin did an epic rant last night on the disturbing lack of Conservatism that Mitt Romney represents. The final straw for Levin was Romney’s support of automatic minimum wage increases.

Mitt Romney doesn’t have much the Democrats can attack him on. He’s rich (which makes him evil since he’s not a Democrat) but that’s pretty much it. However, he is vulnerable if the left is successful in branding him “out of touch.” John Kerry was successfully portrayed that way by Republicans in 2004.

The clip below is precisely the kind of thing Mittens must avoid at all cost. Clear thinking people know full well what he meant, but bad phrasing like this can do real damage. This clip has been making the media rounds all day, and you can count on it appearing in countless left wing attack ads in the coming months.

What he should have said is, “I don’t give a fig about the very poor.”

Mitt Romney routed Newt Gingrich in the Florida primary, rebounding from the previous week’s defeat with a commanding victory and taking a major step toward the Republican presidential nomination.

Republican Newt Gingrich and his rival Mitt Romney clashed in the opening moments of Thursday’s debate in Florida. Gingrich said Romney is the “most anti-immigrant” candidate and Romney called such rhetoric “inexcusable” and “repulsive.”

Wow. I don’t know what you can really say about this. Seriously?

Here’s a grossly unfair “documentary” from a Gingrich PAC portraying Romney as an evil Gordon Gekko corporate raider.

I find it shocking and even a little bit sad that so-called Conservatives like Newt Gingrich are attacking Mitt Romney for his greatest strength. Romney’s business acumen is what this country needs and the primary reason for his popularity. Gingrich sounds like a member of Obama’s campaign with his hysterical attacks on Romney for his wealth. And Newt Gingrich is the last guy who should be pointing fingers at others over making money. Newt is a multi-millionaire who earned his money by selling books and acting as a “consultant” (lobbyist) for big corporations. I have no problem with that, but being a fat cat lobbyist doesn’t create jobs. Mitt Romey as CEO of Bain Capital created many jobs. The kind of left wing garbage coming out of Gingrich is mind blowing. He sounds like Nancy “Stretch” Pelosi.

The funniest thing about all this is that Glenn Beck was right. He was attacked when he called out Newt early on as a Progressive. He warned everyone that Newt was a big government Progressive at heart and not to be fooled. All it took was a wave of attack ads from Romney to make Newt show his true colors. His class warfare rhetoric is appalling.

Fox News is reporting that Mitt Romney has been declared the winner of the Iowa caucuses. He won by 8 votes.

Right now as of 12:57am there is exactly 4 votes separating Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum in the Iowa caucuses. Fox News just reported that moments ago. This is one of the closest contests in modern political history. The article linked reflects an 18 vote gap in the contest, but that has since narrowed to just 4 votes. They are essentially tied for first place.
