“Morning Joe” became rather eventful this morning on MSLSD MSNBC. Time Magazine editor and left wing pundit Mark Halperin caused quite a stir after he called President Obama “kind of a dick” live on the air. MSNBC says Halperin is suspended indefinitely from the network.

Halperin’s comment was unacceptable on any cable news channel, but especially on MSNBC. You can’t call the president a dick on his own channel.

Here’s Halperin apologizing:

That has to be one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen. I’m no fan of Halperin, I think he’s a left wing hack. But the only “dick” I saw in that clip was Joe Scarborough. What an asshole. He kept egging him on to say exactly what was on his mind. He told him the delay would catch it. They even did a live shot of the control room. So Halperin said what he was thinking and then everybody feigns shock and horror. How pathetic.

“Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski says rich white men need to contribute more to the budget solution. Why is MSNBC obsessed with skin color? Do rich blacks, Latino’s, and Asians not also need to contribute to the budget solution? What about rich white women like Martha Stewart? Is she excluded? How about rich white TV hosts like you, Mika? What are you contributing?

Donald Trump further elaborated on his theories regarding Obama’s birthplace today on “Morning Joe.” The Donald says video exists of Obama’s granny in Kenya saying young Barry was born there and she witnessed the birth. He says there’s a good possibility that Obama perpetrated the biggest scam in political history — or any history.

Still not convinced on the Birther stuff, but my mind remains open should new evidence come to light.

Also, someone should slap smug ass Donny Deutsch. The guy is a freaking joke.

Former Washington, D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty says Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is right to take on unions. If you recall, it was Fenty (a democrat) who tried to reform DC public schools and was ousted by the teachers unions. Fenty’s battle became the basis for the widely seen documentary, “Wating For Superman.” Fenty says many aspects of collective bargaining for public employees is outdated.

Obama pretended to be a supporter of Fenty’s efforts to reform failing schools until the unions started howling. When Fenty was on the verge of defeat at the hands of teachers unions, Obama was nowhere to be found. The president wouldn’t even campaign for him.

As a result, black kids get to remain stuck in horrible schools filled with terrible teachers. Liberals have condemned those children to a life of poverty, illiteracy, and crime. Meanwhile, Obama’s kids continue to attend an elite private school. A private school George W. Bush let poor kids attend until Obama kicked them out — at the behest of teachers unions no less.

I don’t agree with Fenty on too many things, but the man has a lot of courage. It’s extraordinarily rare to find a progressive African-American Democrat willing to take on the sacred cows of the institutional left. He was willing to put aside the politics of labor unions and help the next generation of Americans get a quality education.

It’s just a shame that our president was too cowardly to help him.

Joe Scarborough’s transition to left wing pundit is pretty much complete. This morning he and his “Morning Joe” cronies were advocating for stricter gun control laws. Joe makes the absurd claim that 90% of the American people “want this stopped.” He sites Dick Cheney and Pat Buchanan as examples of conservatives who allegedly want stricter gun control laws.

I have no doubt 90% of the people in Manhattan where Joe lives do indeed want stricter gun control. But here in Texas, I don’t know anyone who wants that. I literally don’t know anyone who wants stricter gun control. In fact, quite a few people I’ve spoken with recently admire Arizona’s gun laws and would like to see them adopted here. The main differences between Arizona and Texas is that in Arizona you don’t need a license to carry a concealed weapon or openly carry one.

Politicians never let a tragedy go by without attempting to piggy back some new gun legislation on it. The tragedy in Arizona could not have been prevented with stricter gun laws. Jared Loughner legally purchased his handgun and passed a federal background check. That’s as good as it gets.

I do favor adding mental health records to a federal background check. If you’ve spent time in the nut house you don’t need a gun. We can agree on that one. But when it comes to limiting magazine size or banning so-called “assault weapons” I’m vehemently opposed.

In the words of the late Charlton Heston, “from my cold, dead hands.”

Talk about beating a dead horse. How many times are we going to re-litigate the Iraq war? Joe Lieberman was on “Morning Joe” today and Mika asked him if he stood by his vote to invade Iraq. He does. That’s when Arianna Huffington injected her incredibly irritating voice into the discussion. Lieberman became frustrated (understandably) and called her “sweetie,” which of course ignited a brand new media controversy.

We all know how this is going to play out. Radical left wing broads are gonna be coming out of the woodwork demanding an apology. The lib media will scream about sexism. All the people who already hate Joe will hate him a little more. Life will go on. Since he’s retiring anyway, he should just extend his middle digit rather than apologize.

Better yet, he should become a Republican.

Joe Scarborough had RINO backstabbing b*tch Nicole Wallace on “Morning Joe” yesterday. They discussed his recent Sarah Palin hit piece in Politico.

Wallace has been behind an ugly whisper campaign against Palin ever since the 2008 election.

Jeff Goldblum was on “Morning Joe” today to promote his new movie Morning Glory. In it, he portrays a network boss constantly humiliated that his network’s morning show is in 4th place.

Goldblum says he consulted with MSNBC President Phil Griffin for the role.

I just want to know where Goldblum got those glasses. He looks like De Niro in the very last scene of Casino.
