Just received this email from MoveOn.org asking for donations to fund a new campaign against Rupert Murdoch and Fox News. We all knew the left was going to try and capitalize on the phone hacking scandal in the UK to try and damage Fox News, we just didn’t know how. This is at least one way.

Could this be the end of Rupert Murdoch and Fox News?

Allegations in the U.K. against Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation, Fox’s parent company, just keep coming. Hacking into the phone of a 13-year-old murder victim, bribing government officials, and now claims of hacking into the voice mail of 9/11 victims and their families.¹

Now, the key is to find out how far Fox and the rest of Murdoch’s news outlets went here in the U.S. If they’ve been as corrupt and criminal here as it looks like they’ve been in the U.K., then we might just see Murdoch’s media empire crumble.

So we’re launching a new campaign to build unavoidable public pressure for full investigations.We’ll start tomorrow with a hard-hitting new ad asking whether Murdoch is “running a company or a crime syndicate.” But first we need to the raise the money to get it on the air and ramp up the campaign.

Rupert Murdoch has a huge amount of influence in this country. He owns some of the most influential news outlets in America including not only Fox News but The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, and dozens more.

But his influence shouldn’t mean that his companies can get away with crimes. In the U.K. we’ve seen what a tough investigation spurred by public outrage and pressure can do to expose the truth.

We deserve the same here in the U.S. We deserve to know whether Fox News or other Murdoch outlets have violated our laws. But just like in the U.K., it won’t happen unless we can generate enough public pressure to force a real investigation and real accountability.

We’re ready to ramp up a campaign for accountability right away by hitting the airwaves with our new ad as soon as we can raise the money.

This kind of thing is unacceptable. In order for us to have credibility we have to call out people on our side when they step over the line. We all know the kind of thug tactics the Left uses and it’s vital that we not go down that road. Sadly, a few Rand Paul supporters did.

When Rand Paul arrived at tonight’s final Kentucky Senate debate he was greeted by a throng of excited supporters. A woman wearing a wig, later identified as a MoveOn.org activist, tried to approach Paul and was violently attacked by his supporters.

Lauren Valle was wrestled to the ground and stomped on — literally. SEIU would be proud. It’s hard to believe people could be this dumb.

The big stupid hillbilly who stomped on her should go to jail. It’s morons like that who damage our cause. The media smears us enough without giving them ammunition like this. He stomped on a fucking woman for God’s sake.

We’re right here on the home stretch people, let’s not blow it.

Rand Paul’s campaign released this statement:

"Violence of any kind has no place in our civil discourse and we urge supporters on all sides to be civil to one another as tensions rise heading toward this very important election."

The media is going to run wild with this. That canned bullshit isn’t going to cut it. Rand Paul should personally issue a statement.

Left-wing host Rachel Maddow got into a dust-up with Republican Dick Armey on Sunday’s “Meet The Press.” Armey pointed out the hypocrisy of the left crowing about “extreme rhetoric” after their vilification of Bush for the last eight years.

Armey went on to cite an ad from MoveOn.org that compared Bush to Hitler. Rachel Maddow vehemently denied that MoveOn ever ran such an ad and repeatedly interrupted to make that point.

Fortunately, YouTube allows infamous ads to live on forever and as you can see from the clip below, Maddow is either ill-informed or a liar (or maybe a little of both).

Trent Wisecup, Rep. Joe Knollenberg’s (R-Mich.) chief of staff, had a tense run-in with Bruce Fealk, an anti-war activist from MoveOn.org, over the weekend, and it’s all on video.

Wisecup tells Fealk that he is “un-American,” and says, “You’re not a citizen, you’re a political hack.”

Fealk and the rest of the douchebags at MoveOn.org are nothing but political thugs who will stop at nothing to hurt the war effort and damage this country. These “phony Americans” have nothing to add to any discussion and only seek to impose their radical agenda on the country.

It really is a shame that the Democratic party has been taken over by a bunch of character assassins and bullies. It’s about time someone called these people out for the cretins they are.
