I remember former CIA analyst Michael Scheuer warning months ago that John Brennan was an out of touch politically correct bureaucrat — and indeed he was right. Officially known as the Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Adviser for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, John Brennan has an important job. Radical Muslims Try To Kill Danish Cartoonist Again
Remember those cartoons of the prophet Mohammed that appeared in a Danish newspaper a few years back that caused murderous riots all over the Middle East?
In case you were living under a rock, here’s a quick refresher. 74-year-old artist Kurt Westergaard drew some political cartoons depicting the prophet Mohammad as a terrorist. The cartoons ran in several newspapers in Denmark and touched off more than six weeks of murderous riots all over the Middle East.
The cartoons ran in 2006, and since that time plot after plot has been uncovered around the world to murder Kurt Westergaard for his cartoons.
Danish authorities are now saying they’ve foiled yet another plot to murder Westergaard:
A man has been shot and arrested by Danish authorities for allegedly attempting to break into the home of an infamous editorial cartoonist.
A 27-year-old Somali national was shot in the arm and arrested after attempting to enter the home of Danish editorial cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, according to wire reports from Agence-France Presse.
AFP reports the man was armed with an axe and a knife at the time of his arrest.
It’s weird how a so-called “religion of peace” can inspire such a white hot and long lasting murderous rage over cartoons in a newspaper. We’re always being told by the apologists in the Obama administration that we must be more understanding and tolerant of Muslims.
As I’ve said before many times, I disagree. It’s Muslims who need to learn to be tolerant of non-Muslims. These Islamic barbarians need to be taught how to behave like normal human beings instead of like savages.
These lunatics are not interested in having a dialogue or negotiating about anything. They are interested in committing mass murder. Their goals will remain the same after Gitmo closes, after we leave Iraq and Afghanistan, and after the Palestinians have a state.
It has nothing to with George Bush or America’s bellicose tone. It has to do with a radical Islamic ideology that wants to see the West destroyed, the Jews annihilated, and Islam the sole religion on earth.

The Swiss Should Ban Muslims Instead Of Minarets
On Sunday, nearly 58% of Swiss voters voted in favor banning the construction of new minarets atop Muslim mosques. Like a lot of people in Europe, the Swiss are beginning to realize that radical Islam is slowly taking over their country. In many places the Muslim call to prayer rings out over the land five times a day as if it were Saudi Arabia or Iran. The streets are filled with men and women wearing traditional Islamic dress. Freedom of speech has been thrown so as not to offend Islam.
So being the non-confrontational cowards they are, the Swiss got together for a symbolic protest vote of sorts to ban the construction of new minarets on mosques. The construction of new mosques will continue unabated — just without the fancy minarets. That is European appeasement in its purest form.
The Muslim community can continue their takeover of Switzerland as long as they don’t mess with the skyline.
Now, the insidious creep of Islam will be a little harder to notice and the Swiss can return to their normal lives and pretend everything will be okay. Guess what? It won’t be.
How about the Swiss grow some balls and vote to stop any more Muslim immigrants from entering the country. With more than 5% of the population already Muslim, many of whom refuse to assimilate, the solution is to stop the flow. After that, repeal the phony minarets law and simply ban the construction of any new mosques (with or without minarets).
Attorney General Eric Holder Panders To Muslim Groups
Hat tip to Michelle for staying on this story. Attorney General Eric Holder flew to Detroit last night to pander to Muslim groups and assure them that the DOJ is committed to upholding their rights. He promised their would be no “profiling” of Arab Americans in light of the Fort Hood shooting, etc.
Reaching out to Arab Americans and Muslims, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said in a Detroit speech Thursday night that their full rights must be protected as the country battles security threats.
“This is not blind adherence to political correctness,” Holder told hundreds at the Detroit Marriott in the Renaissance Center. “It is devotion to our founding documents.”
He said that it’s vital that all ethnic and religious groups in America be treated equally. He also said racial profiling was bad policy that breeds mistrust and division.
“For the last nine months, I’ve heard from Muslim and Arab Americans who feel uneasy about their relationship with their government, who feel isolated and discriminated against by law enforcement,” Holder said. “It is inconsistent with what America is all about.”
…Holder spoke at the banquet of Advocates and Leaders for Police and Community Trust, which consists of about 100 minority groups and law enforcement officials in metro Detroit.
I’ll tell you what “breeds mistrust and division”, it’s having to worry if the Muslim soldier next you secretly wants to kill you.
Moreover, I don’t really give a damn if Muslims feel “uneasy” about their relationship with their government. I feel “uneasy” about them.
Muslim “Americans” have given us no reason to trust them. Their condemnation of Islamic terror has been consistently tepid ever since 9/11, and has remained so even after a U.S. soldier gunned down more than 50 people in the name of their God.
The notion that we shouldn’t “profile” is absurd. If you’re an Arab and you’re in this country you should get a little extra scrutiny. If it were the Irish who were trying to kill us or the Vietnamese I would feel exactly the same way.
It gives me no pleasure to feel this way, but lives are at stake and it’s important that we stop with the BS and be honest about what is going on.
When I see Muslim Americans take to the streets and protest the atrocities committed around the world in the name of their religion, then I may feel differently.
Unfortunately, it’s unlikely anything like that will ever happen. See, I’ve actually read the Koran and believe it or not the terrorists are right about what it says. Which is why I don’t buy into the premise that Islam is a “religion of peace.”
I know I’ll get a torrent of outraged emails calling me a racist and bigot and all the rest, and that’s absolutely fine. I stand by every word.

Obama: Don’t Jump To Conclusions On Shooting

President Barack Obama said Friday the entire nation is grieving for those slain at Fort Hood, and he urged people not to jump to conclusions while law enforcement officers investigate the shootings.
Obama met Friday morning with FBI Director Robert Mueller and other federal leaders to get an update on what they’ve learned. Thirteen people were killed and 30 others injured in the shooting rampage at the Texas Army post on Thursday. The suspected shooter is an Army psychiatrist; his motive remains unclear.
"We don’t know all the answers yet. And I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts," Obama said in a Rose Garden statement otherwise devoted to the economy.
"What we do know is that there are families, friends and an entire nation grieving right now for the valiant men and women who came under attack yesterday," the president said.
In other words, don’t jump to the conclusion that Hasan was a radical Muslim. We don’t want to get hasty and start blaming Islam! Sorry Barry, we know his religion was the cause — too late.
Get ready for the ultimate whitewash of this entire affair by the mainstream media and The White House.
Every conceivable reason will be given for why this traitor did what he did except the actual one — his religion.
It’s not politically correct to blame Islam for anything in America. The television and print media will go out of their way to avoid mentioning that Hasan is a Muslim. A Muslim who thought other Muslims should fight back against the U.S. military in Iraq and Afghanistan. A Muslim who made internet posts sympathetic to suicide bombers. A Muslim who yelled “Allahu Akbar” before gunning down 12 colleagues at Fort Hood.
With the exception of Fox News, the media is a disgrace.

After refusing to make much of our National Day of Prayer as most president’s have done, Obama instead chose to make a special video recognizing the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. In addition, Obama sought to assure the Muslim world that we are still committed to forging a new relationship after that mean old Bushie.
President Obama also promised that America wants to build a more peaceful world. Don’t tell the president, but I’m pretty sure we’ve always tried to do that. It’s not America that’s causing problems in the world it’s the crazy Muslims. They’re the ones committing mass murder all over the world in the name of their religion.
Why don’t we ever get YouTube clips from Saudi Imams telling us the Muslim world is committed to peace? How about the King of Saudi Arabia sending us a message recognizing the importance of Christianity and Jesus Christ. How about that for a change?
Obama’s constant pandering to Muslims is pathetic and embarrassing. I don’t give a damn about Ramadan or Islam. I’m tired of hearing about how much we allegedly have in common with the Muslim world — it’s total nonsense.
We don’t have anything even remotely in common with the Muslim world. We don’t kill people we disagree with, we don’t treat our women like property, we don’t blow ourselves up to get to “paradise,” and we don’t give money to charities that fund suicide bombings in Israel.
The Muslim world should be sending America YouTube clips on a weekly basis apologizing for exporting mass murder and misery around the world. They should apologize for treating a mass murdering terrorist like a rock star when he returned home to Libya after his disgraceful release by Scotland.
Unlike the president, I don’t send my best wishes to the Muslim world for Ramadan. Instead, I send my best wishes to our brave military that’s fighting to bring freedom to a bunch of ungrateful Muslims.
Sarkozy Says Burqas ‘Not Welcome’ In France
French president Nicolas Sarkozy spoke out today against women wearing the Muslim burqa on the streets of France.
Sarkozy said he finds the small but growing trend of women wearing the full-body garment in France troubling and supports a ban on the practice.
"In our country, we cannot accept that women be prisoners behind a screen, cut off from all social life, deprived of all identity," Sarkozy said to extended applause in a speech at the Chateau of Versailles southwest of Paris.
"The burqa is not a religious sign, it’s a sign of subservience, a sign of debasement—I want to say it solemnly," he said. "It will not be welcome on the territory of the French Republic."
Kudos to Sarkozy for having the guts to stand up on this issue. Like Britain, France is being taken over by Islam.
Europeans are usually either too politically correct or too scared of the Muslim backlash to say so.
There is nothing wrong with immigration per say, but when millions of people pour into a country and refuse to assimilate it’s a problem.
Especially, when many of those people hold radical beliefs that include murdering people with whom they disagree.
Rather than adopt the culture and practices of their new home country, many Muslim immigrants in Europe expect the country to change for them.
I realize the idea of banning burqas is contrary to the idea of religious freedom, but I think Europe is a special case.
Radical Islam is threatening to swallow up western culture and traditions. Burqas are the coverings the Taliban makes women wear.
French Immigration Minister Eric Besson is against banning the burqa for fear of creating “tensions.”
Fear of creating “tensions” (meaning violence and intimidation from Muslims) is what usually stifles criticism of Islam in Europe.
In 2004, France banned women from wearing the Islamic headscarf and other conspicuous religious symbols from public schools.
I think banning the headscarf goes too far. The headscarf is warn by peaceful Muslims and is not associated with extremism like the burqa.
While banning the burqa is a good start, Islamic clothing is not the problem in France. Unchecked Muslim immigration is the problem in France.
France has a Muslim population of more than 5 million — the largest in Western Europe.
Dutch MP Geert Wilders has the right idea for The Netherlands. He’s calling for a freeze on all immigration from Muslim countries and deportation for Muslim immigrants who commit crimes or who refuse to assimilate.
The Media Whitewashing Of Islam
Bruce Bawer over at PJM has a good piece today about the liberal media’s whitewashing of Islam. Anyone who reads this blog knows that is an issue near and dear to my heart.

The idea constantly pushed by the liberal media and most recently the Obama administration is that Islam is simply misunderstood by Americans.
We have an irrational and foolish fear over a religion we just don’t understand.
Sorry liberals, but nothing could be further from the truth. Islam is a dangerous religion and as a Judeo-Christian nation we should prevent Islam from taking over our culture the way it has in Europe and The Netherlands.
Islam is really not a religion, but more like a totalitarian ideology similar to fascism or Nazism.
One of the few politicians who’s not cowed by political correctness and has it right is Dutch MP Geert Wilders.
After making a short film critical of Islam, Wilders and his family must live under armed guard because of constant threats on his life by Muslims.
He was also banned from entering Britain after a Muslim member of parliament threatened to have the Muslim population riot and overrun the British Parliament if Wilders were allowed to enter the country.
Incidentally, Wilders and his Freedom Party won big in the European parliament elections a couple of days ago — so there may be hope yet for Europe.
Islam and freedom mix together like oil and water. Americans need to wake-up and realize the media is lying to them.
Obama Plays Up His Newly Discovered Muslim Roots
Remember back when mentioning Obama and Muslim in the same sentence was considered a hate crime and a smear? Well, that was then — this is now.
President Obama is now feeling so damn invincible that he’s throwing caution to the wind and letting it be known that he has Muslim roots and he’s damn proud of it.
The president is getting in touch with his Muslim side as he prepares to kick off the Middle Eastern leg of his overseas apology tour.
The official name for this tour (according to me) is “The Obama Apology Tour: They Call Me Hussein” and will feature significant ass kissing and multiple apologies in Islamic police states like Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The president has been making the media rounds overseas and made it clear what kinds of messages he intends to send to our enemies.
In an interview with the French press, the president said, “if you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.” Ha! If that doesn’t get the bastards to stop trying to kill us nothing will.
In preparation for this apology tour, Obama’s deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications made clear that, “the President himself experienced Islam on three continents before he was able to — or before he’s been able to visit, really, the heart of the Islamic world — you know, growing up in Indonesia, having a Muslim father — obviously Muslim Americans (are) a key part of Illinois and Chicago.
Really? Huh, I don’t remember hearing much about those important Muslim Americans in Illinois and Chicago during the campaign — I must have just missed it.
Like his radical leftist allies, the president believes it’s America that must change its policy towards the Arab world. It’s America that must shape-up if we expect to live in this crazy world.
The reality is that America doesn’t need to do a damn thing. We are not the ones who need to change policies. Radical Muslims need to stop trying murder Americans in the name of their religion.
It’s the Muslim world that needs to stop stoning women and hanging gays. It’s the Muslim world that needs to change its policy of committing cold-blooded murder when people draw cartoons they don’t like or say things they don’t agree with.
The Muslim world doesn’t like us, because they’re crazy and Bush didn’t take any shit from them.
It was the Muslim world that chose to pick a fight with us. We were minding our own business on 9/11 when 3,000 of our people were killed for no reason.
Arab leaders should be touring America apologizing for their crazy people and asking for our forgiveness — not the other way around.
