Obama: Don’t Jump To Conclusions On Shooting

President Barack Obama said Friday the entire nation is grieving for those slain at Fort Hood, and he urged people not to jump to conclusions while law enforcement officers investigate the shootings.
Obama met Friday morning with FBI Director Robert Mueller and other federal leaders to get an update on what they’ve learned. Thirteen people were killed and 30 others injured in the shooting rampage at the Texas Army post on Thursday. The suspected shooter is an Army psychiatrist; his motive remains unclear.
"We don’t know all the answers yet. And I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts," Obama said in a Rose Garden statement otherwise devoted to the economy.
"What we do know is that there are families, friends and an entire nation grieving right now for the valiant men and women who came under attack yesterday," the president said.
In other words, don’t jump to the conclusion that Hasan was a radical Muslim. We don’t want to get hasty and start blaming Islam! Sorry Barry, we know his religion was the cause — too late.
Get ready for the ultimate whitewash of this entire affair by the mainstream media and The White House.
Every conceivable reason will be given for why this traitor did what he did except the actual one — his religion.
It’s not politically correct to blame Islam for anything in America. The television and print media will go out of their way to avoid mentioning that Hasan is a Muslim. A Muslim who thought other Muslims should fight back against the U.S. military in Iraq and Afghanistan. A Muslim who made internet posts sympathetic to suicide bombers. A Muslim who yelled “Allahu Akbar” before gunning down 12 colleagues at Fort Hood.
With the exception of Fox News, the media is a disgrace.

After refusing to make much of our National Day of Prayer as most president’s have done, Obama instead chose to make a special video recognizing the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. In addition, Obama sought to assure the Muslim world that we are still committed to forging a new relationship after that mean old Bushie.
President Obama also promised that America wants to build a more peaceful world. Don’t tell the president, but I’m pretty sure we’ve always tried to do that. It’s not America that’s causing problems in the world it’s the crazy Muslims. They’re the ones committing mass murder all over the world in the name of their religion.
Why don’t we ever get YouTube clips from Saudi Imams telling us the Muslim world is committed to peace? How about the King of Saudi Arabia sending us a message recognizing the importance of Christianity and Jesus Christ. How about that for a change?
Obama’s constant pandering to Muslims is pathetic and embarrassing. I don’t give a damn about Ramadan or Islam. I’m tired of hearing about how much we allegedly have in common with the Muslim world — it’s total nonsense.
We don’t have anything even remotely in common with the Muslim world. We don’t kill people we disagree with, we don’t treat our women like property, we don’t blow ourselves up to get to “paradise,” and we don’t give money to charities that fund suicide bombings in Israel.
The Muslim world should be sending America YouTube clips on a weekly basis apologizing for exporting mass murder and misery around the world. They should apologize for treating a mass murdering terrorist like a rock star when he returned home to Libya after his disgraceful release by Scotland.
Unlike the president, I don’t send my best wishes to the Muslim world for Ramadan. Instead, I send my best wishes to our brave military that’s fighting to bring freedom to a bunch of ungrateful Muslims.
Sarkozy Says Burqas ‘Not Welcome’ In France
French president Nicolas Sarkozy spoke out today against women wearing the Muslim burqa on the streets of France.
Sarkozy said he finds the small but growing trend of women wearing the full-body garment in France troubling and supports a ban on the practice.
"In our country, we cannot accept that women be prisoners behind a screen, cut off from all social life, deprived of all identity," Sarkozy said to extended applause in a speech at the Chateau of Versailles southwest of Paris.
"The burqa is not a religious sign, it’s a sign of subservience, a sign of debasement—I want to say it solemnly," he said. "It will not be welcome on the territory of the French Republic."
Kudos to Sarkozy for having the guts to stand up on this issue. Like Britain, France is being taken over by Islam.
Europeans are usually either too politically correct or too scared of the Muslim backlash to say so.
There is nothing wrong with immigration per say, but when millions of people pour into a country and refuse to assimilate it’s a problem.
Especially, when many of those people hold radical beliefs that include murdering people with whom they disagree.
Rather than adopt the culture and practices of their new home country, many Muslim immigrants in Europe expect the country to change for them.
I realize the idea of banning burqas is contrary to the idea of religious freedom, but I think Europe is a special case.
Radical Islam is threatening to swallow up western culture and traditions. Burqas are the coverings the Taliban makes women wear.
French Immigration Minister Eric Besson is against banning the burqa for fear of creating “tensions.”
Fear of creating “tensions” (meaning violence and intimidation from Muslims) is what usually stifles criticism of Islam in Europe.
In 2004, France banned women from wearing the Islamic headscarf and other conspicuous religious symbols from public schools.
I think banning the headscarf goes too far. The headscarf is warn by peaceful Muslims and is not associated with extremism like the burqa.
While banning the burqa is a good start, Islamic clothing is not the problem in France. Unchecked Muslim immigration is the problem in France.
France has a Muslim population of more than 5 million — the largest in Western Europe.
Dutch MP Geert Wilders has the right idea for The Netherlands. He’s calling for a freeze on all immigration from Muslim countries and deportation for Muslim immigrants who commit crimes or who refuse to assimilate.
The Media Whitewashing Of Islam
Bruce Bawer over at PJM has a good piece today about the liberal media’s whitewashing of Islam. Anyone who reads this blog knows that is an issue near and dear to my heart.
Bawer has written a new book called Surrender: Appeasing Islam, Sacrificing Freedom which I’m looking forward to reading.

The idea constantly pushed by the liberal media and most recently the Obama administration is that Islam is simply misunderstood by Americans.
We have an irrational and foolish fear over a religion we just don’t understand.
Sorry liberals, but nothing could be further from the truth. Islam is a dangerous religion and as a Judeo-Christian nation we should prevent Islam from taking over our culture the way it has in Europe and The Netherlands.
Islam is really not a religion, but more like a totalitarian ideology similar to fascism or Nazism.
One of the few politicians who’s not cowed by political correctness and has it right is Dutch MP Geert Wilders.
After making a short film critical of Islam, Wilders and his family must live under armed guard because of constant threats on his life by Muslims.
He was also banned from entering Britain after a Muslim member of parliament threatened to have the Muslim population riot and overrun the British Parliament if Wilders were allowed to enter the country.
Incidentally, Wilders and his Freedom Party won big in the European parliament elections a couple of days ago — so there may be hope yet for Europe.
Islam and freedom mix together like oil and water. Americans need to wake-up and realize the media is lying to them.
Obama Plays Up His Newly Discovered Muslim Roots
Remember back when mentioning Obama and Muslim in the same sentence was considered a hate crime and a smear? Well, that was then — this is now.
President Obama is now feeling so damn invincible that he’s throwing caution to the wind and letting it be known that he has Muslim roots and he’s damn proud of it.
The president is getting in touch with his Muslim side as he prepares to kick off the Middle Eastern leg of his overseas apology tour.
The official name for this tour (according to me) is “The Obama Apology Tour: They Call Me Hussein” and will feature significant ass kissing and multiple apologies in Islamic police states like Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The president has been making the media rounds overseas and made it clear what kinds of messages he intends to send to our enemies.
In an interview with the French press, the president said, “if you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.” Ha! If that doesn’t get the bastards to stop trying to kill us nothing will.
In preparation for this apology tour, Obama’s deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications made clear that, “the President himself experienced Islam on three continents before he was able to — or before he’s been able to visit, really, the heart of the Islamic world — you know, growing up in Indonesia, having a Muslim father — obviously Muslim Americans (are) a key part of Illinois and Chicago.
Really? Huh, I don’t remember hearing much about those important Muslim Americans in Illinois and Chicago during the campaign — I must have just missed it.
Like his radical leftist allies, the president believes it’s America that must change its policy towards the Arab world. It’s America that must shape-up if we expect to live in this crazy world.
The reality is that America doesn’t need to do a damn thing. We are not the ones who need to change policies. Radical Muslims need to stop trying murder Americans in the name of their religion.
It’s the Muslim world that needs to stop stoning women and hanging gays. It’s the Muslim world that needs to change its policy of committing cold-blooded murder when people draw cartoons they don’t like or say things they don’t agree with.
The Muslim world doesn’t like us, because they’re crazy and Bush didn’t take any shit from them.
It was the Muslim world that chose to pick a fight with us. We were minding our own business on 9/11 when 3,000 of our people were killed for no reason.
Arab leaders should be touring America apologizing for their crazy people and asking for our forgiveness — not the other way around.

In a bid to get more Muslim Americans working in the Obama administration, a book with resumes of 45 of the nation’s most qualified — Ivy League grads, Fortune 500 executives and public servants, all carefully vetted — has been submitted to the White House.
That’s really what we need to worry about right now, putting more Muslims in government. Yeah, that sounds like a great idea. What could go wrong?

UN “Human Rights” Commission Passes Resolution Shielding Islam From Criticism
The UN “Human Rights” Commission passed a resolution today put forth by Muslim nations intended to shield religion from criticism. Predictably, by “religion” they of course mean Islam.
The so-called UN “human rights” commission is a joke just like the UN itself. Also, for the record Islam is not a religion of peace. All Muslims are not terrorists, but all terrorists are usually Muslim.

This is just plain creepy. Imagine buying your kid a regular Fisher Price doll or a video game and having them say “Islam is the light” at odd times. It seems a little funny on the surface, but this is something that should be taken seriously. It’s outrageous that something like this could happen. This is another stealth attempt by Muslims to spread Islam across America.
Dutch Politician To Be Prosecuted For Making Anti-Islamic Statements
There is no greater example that the whole world (particularly Europe) has gone completely mad than what is happening in the Netherlands. Dutch MP Geert Wilders is being put on trial in the Netherlands for making “anti-Islamic statements.”
Wilders made a controversial film last year highlighting the connection between Islam and terrorism (what a crazy idea) and Muslims (which the Netherlands is now full of) were predictably outraged.
Geert Wilders is the sole voice of reason in a country being destroyed from within by political correctness and appeasement. Radical Muslims are immigrating to the Netherlands and all over Europe due to lax immigration laws. Wilders thinks it may not be such a good idea to let every Tom, Dick, and Harry (or in this case Abdul, Tarique, and Mohammad) who practices Islam become a Dutch citizen and set-up shop.
The Islamization of Europe is extremely troubling and Wilders is right to speak out on it.

Calling All Muslims
NY Times Op-Ed writer Thomas Friedman took some time off from his global warming alarmism and decided to write about something important — the lack of outrage in the Muslim community over the Mumbai attacks.
Friedman quite accurately points out that when it comes to dutch cartoons offending Islam, Muslims the world over take to the streets. They can loot, protest, burn cars, trample people, and give fiery sermons in the Mosque. Their white hot rage can burn for a good month or more with no let up.
However, when a group of Pakistani Muslims sneak into India by boat and go on a murderous rampage resulting in the death of 179+ innocent human beings in the name of Islam — we hear nothing.
Is no one outraged by the massacre? Why no protests? Just once, Muslims could take a break from burning president Bush in effigy and direct their rage towards the blood thirsty lunatics that live among them.
Predictably, apologists will say good Muslims cannot speak out in the Middle East because it’s too dangerous for them. Fine, but how do explain Muslims in the U.S. never speaking out? I know you can find an Imam hear and there willing to condemn terrorism when asked about, but you never see group outrage or protests.
The largest concentration of Muslims in the U.S. is in Dearborn, Michigan. Why are they not protesting? Terrorists are perverting Islam and using it as an excuse to murder innocent people around the world — but nobody seems to really care.
No doubt I’ll be called a bigot or intolerant for my views on this, but I’m gonna say them anyway. After studying Islam quite a bit, I’ve come to the conclusion that the terrorists aren’t necessarily perverting Islam. Islam is in fact not a religion of peace as many would have us believe — but a religion of death. Murdering other humans in the name of Islam is not a radical proposition for many Muslims.
You can look at the so-called ‘honor killings‘ that take place even in America to know that. Even after 9/11 you didn’t see demonstrations by Muslims here in America over the atrocities. What you did see was dancing in the street by Muslims in Europe and the Middle East.
That is why I fundamentally do not trust Muslims. I don’t care if they’re American Muslims — I don’t trust them. I’ve seen no evidence to suggest that they can or should be trusted. I think we need to continue to keep immigration from Muslim countries tightly controlled. One only has to look at France, or Britain to know what unchecked Immigration from the Middle East can do.
They now have a parallel society in Britain and France that is capable of organizing violent uprisings around the city anytime something offends their delicate Islamic sensibilities.
We don’t need to welcome in thousands of potential enemies. We don’t need that kind of drama — we don’t want that kind of drama.
