Here’s some ugly racism from militant black leftists the media will never tell you about. Black Tea Party protesters at the NAACP convention in South Central, Los Angeles were called “sellout negros.” The idiot on the video is outraged that blacks would join a group of white people who want to “take them back to slavery.”

After thinking about it for a long time tonight I can’t recall ever attending a Tea Party where “taking black people back to slavery” was on the agenda. If anything we want to free blacks from the bondage of poverty that liberals have kept them in for decades. Unlike the NAACP, the Tea Party believes children of color (and all children) have a right to a good education. We believe poor black and brown kids should learn reading, writing, and math. We think they should be able to leave the disgraceful war zones they call inner city public schools and attend a private school where Obama and Rahm Emanuel send their kids.

But the NAACP is in bed with the teachers unions. They actively try to get successful charter schools around the nation shut down and voucher programs disbanded. They want the poor black and brown kids to go back to the ghettos where they belong.

These despicable race hustling cretins have got some nerve calling the Tea Party racist.

I love this story for so many reasons not the least of which is that it drives the left ape sh*t. The very notion of a liberal group being racist offends their delicate, jerky sensibilities. Phillips also happens to be right. The NAACP may have done some good work in the past, but they’re nothing more than a cynical group of left wing race hustlers today. Ben Jealous is a disgrace.

Black poverty pimps like Ben Jealous who think the Tea Party is racist can blow me. I don’t give a rip what those fools think. Judging from the election it doesn’t look like most Americans do either.

The NAACP just released their “report” on so-called Tea Party racism. The report was created by a far left human rights organization which the NAACP failed to mention.

I don’t mean to belabor the Shirley Sherrod case. The entire dust-up over the clip that took her out of context has certainly run its course. However, since the media wants to pretend Shirley Sherrod is some kind of civil rights hero I thought it was worth highlighting this.

Ron Wilkins, Africana Studies Professor at California State University, wrote a very interesting piece over at Counter Punch. He claims to know Sherrod and says she’s more a victimizer than a victim.

He says the media narrative about her fighting for the rights of poor black farmers in the 60’s and 70’s is a fairy tale. The truth according to Wilkins (who was there) is a very different story.

If confession is good for the soul, then Mrs. Sherrod took a first step toward her redemption by admitting the error of her ways in her earlier attitudes toward poor white farmers. Mrs. Sherrod says she began to see poverty as more central than race. So, should indigent black child farm laborers warrant less reflection by Mrs. Sherrod? What lessons does she have to share from her tenure as management when she had power over her own people working under deplorable conditions at the same New Communities, Inc.(NCI) identified in the current issue? Shirley Sherrod could have included this chapter of her history in the same confession speech. Justice and integrity require at least as much accountability from Mrs. Sherrod to the poor black farm workers of NCI as to the white farmers she came to befriend. This lack of full disclosure of the whole truth is a “sin of omission” that trivializes the suffering of poor black farm workers and exacerbates the offenses of NCI.

Shirley Sherrod was New Communities Inc. store manager during the 1970s. As such, Mrs. Sherrod was a key member of the NCI administrative team, which exploited and abused the workforce in the field. The 6,000 acre New Communities Inc. in Lee County promoted itself during the latter part of the 1960s and throughout the 70s as a land trust committed to improving the lives of the rural black poor. Underneath this facade, the young and old worked long hours with few breaks, the pay averaged sixty-seven cents an hour, fieldwork behind equipment spraying pesticides was commonplace and workers expressing dissatisfaction were fired without recourse.

There’s a lot more to the story. Everyone should click over to Counter Punch and read the rest of the column. It really shows just how lazy the media is today. Either they’re willfully ignorant to protect their leftist agenda or they just don’t care to investigate stories anymore. I believe it’s done on purpose. To reveal the truth about Shirley Sherrod would destroy the media narrative that Andrew Breitbart is a racist who wants to bring back slavery.

None of this takes away from the fact that she was fired over a video clip that took her out of context. However, since her supposedly heroic civil rights past has become a major story I think it should be told accurately.

Newsweek has an interview with Andrew Brietbart about the Shirley Sherrod episode. He says he won’t comment on her promise to sue him until there is a lawsuit filed. Should he be sued he’s ready with a legal team.

Breitbart also said he’d like to meet with Shirley Sherrod and have a discussion with her in private away from the media circus. He said he’d go anywhere including out to Georgia if she wanted to meet.

Newsweek repeatedly pressed him to apologize to Sherrod, but he would not. However, he did say if he had it to do over again he would wait for the full tape before posting it.

I’m glad Andrew is refusing to apologize. The rhetoric from Sherrod since this episode began has been reprehensible. She accused Andrew and Fox News of wanting to take blacks back to slave times.

Shirley Sherrod is clearly someone with a permanent racial chip on her shoulder. She’s a professional black victim who clearly doesn’t think too much of white people — regardless of her so-called “story of redemption” to the NAACP.

Shirley Sherrod has all but achieved Sainthood with the mainstream media ever since Breitbart released video that turned out not to tell the whole story.

She’s been compared to Rosa Parks by Communist Van Jones. She’s been called a civil rights hero by others. Her story to the NAACP about reforming her racist views has been called “historic” and “moving” by CNN.

But the real story about Shirley Sherrod and her husband is anything but inspirational. Shirley Sherrod is a long-time radical left-wing activist and professional black victim.

Shirley Sherrod’s daughter was born in 1967. You know what they named her? Russia.

It’s almost comical at this point how many truly radical Commie Pinko pigs this administration has in their ranks. From the highest levels to the lowest levels you have 1960s new-left nut jobs.

Now that’s what I call bringing people together!

I was surprised to see these two appearing together, but it certainly made for good TV. Andrew Breitbart went head to head with his nemesis Eric Boehlert. Boehlert runs the despicable democrat front group known as Media Matters.

Here’s the full speech Shirley Sherrod gave to the NAACP. There’s some pretty controversial stuff in there. I’m not sure she should have been fired, but make no mistake — she’s definitely a Marxist and some might say a racist as well.

Nobody was more dumbstruck by the video I posted yesterday of USDA official Shirley Sherrod telling the NAACP how she uses her job to discriminate against whites. Like most people I found it appalling, but I was also a little gleeful at the rabid race-baiting left’s hypocrisy being laid out for all the world to see. By the end of the day yesterday Shirley Sherrod turned in her resignation at the USDA and that was the end of that.

Now Shirley is speaking out about the firing and telling the rest of her story that was cut off in the now infamous YouTube clip.

She accuses Andrew Breitbart who originally posted the tape of editing it to make is sound bad. She blames Fox and the Tea Party for the entire controversy and says the USDA let her go even after she explained the full story to them.

Sherrod even claims to have become good friends with the white farmer she mentions in the video.

I don’t know yet what to make of all this. If she’s telling the truth to CNN in the clip below then it’s extremely unfortunate that she was forced out of her job.

As for her claims against Fox and Breitbart — I don’t buy it. I don’t believe Breitbart made dishonest edits to the tape. If anything he posted it just like he received it. For him to dishonestly edit the tape would make him no better than the lying left-wing media we all fight so hard against. He’s not like that.

Like myself, Fox was just reporting the story as we all understood it at the time. I’m very curious to see how this whole thing shakes out in the days to come. I hope Shirley Sherrod wasn’t driven out of her job unfairly.
