When I first saw photos of the helicopter wreckage at Bin Laden’s compound I just glanced at it. I wanted to skip to the grizzly scenes of death. Now come to find out the leftover helicopter pieces belong to a new classified stealth helicopter. After looking at the wreckage again I absolutely believe it is. The skin looks similar to that of a B2 Stealth Bomber. Bin Laden’s neighbors say they didn’t hear the helicopters until they were hovering overhead.

Military analysts say rumors of a stealth helicopter program have been swirling around for years ever since the DOD killed the Comanche program in the late 90′s. The Comanche was essentially a stealth version of the Apache. It appears that some of the technology developed for the Comanche was improved further in secret and applied to the Blackhawk.

The rotor blades of the downed chopper appear to be made of a special material and the tail rotor has some type of noise reduction modifications. Industry experts who have studied the pictures say it’s likely you would not see or hear that helicopter until it was right on top of you.

As fascinating as I find this kind of thing it’s very sad that it’s out in the public now. What was otherwise a flawless mission now has a very serious downside. The Pentagon’s biggest fear is that the helicopter pieces will end up in the hands of the China. If that happens they will reverse engineer the pieces and figure out the technology.. The Chinese are great at manufacturing things, but they suck at inventing. Nearly everything in China’s arsenal was stolen from the US, UK, and Russia.

The reason China is building a Stealth fighter jet is because they sent agents to gather pieces of a Stealth fighter that was shot down in the 90′s over Bosnia. The wreckage was spread out over a hundred miles. Chinese agents gathered those pieces and shipped them back to China. They were able to reverse engineer it and are now in the process of producing their own stealth aircraft.

On the other hand I’m relieved to know that regardless of the rhetoric in Washington we remain on the very cutting edge of military technology. At every point in our history the US military has possessed super secret aircraft that are a decade or more ahead of what the public believes is even possible. Think about it. We had the Stealth Fighter in the 1980′s. That kind of technology in the 80′s was practically alien. It was Star Wars stuff. Now it’s no big deal. So imagine what kind of technology we have tucked away somewhere in 2011. It’s probably the kind of thing you would expect to see in 2025.

This newly discovered helicopter is only a glimpse of the kind of toys we have squirreled away.

It’s no secret that the war in Afghanistan is not going well. Afghan President Hamid Karzai has become as big an impediment to success as the Taliban. His refusal to tackle corruption continues to damage our efforts to win hearts and minds. His anti-American rhetoric of late and increasing friendliness towards the Taliban is also troubling to say the least.

But there’s one man in Afghanistan who could be the answer to our prayers. I was blown away when I first heard him speak and have followed him closely ever since. His name is Amrullah Saleh and Frontline recently did an excellent interview with him. Saleh is the former head of Afghanistan’s Intelligence service. Up until his recent resignation, US officials (civilian and military) considered him the most effective member of Karzai’s cabinet. Quite frankly, the guy is brilliant. And most importantly, he’s clear eyed about the situation in his country and very much wants to help the US fix it.

Amrullah Saleh is a former Northern Alliance commander. He’s also one of the liaisons who linked up with the first CIA teams who dropped into Afghanistan after 9/11. Even prior to 9/11 he was a CIA contact along with the late Ahmad Shah Massoud. Massoud was the revered Northern Alliance commander that Osama Bin Laden assassinated only days before 9/11 to keep him from assisting the US after the attack.

After Karzai came to power he appointed Saleh head of the Afghan National Directorate of Security (NDS). Over time, he became disgusted with Karzai’s corruption and appeasement of the Taliban. Finally, in June 2010 he resigned after Karzai tried again in vain to make peace with the Taliban. Saleh is now a sought after speaker on Afghanistan and national security issues around the world. He recently gave a speech in Washington about the way forward in Afghanistan.

Since securing the border has proven too much for Janet, she’s decided to fight something imaginary. Global Warming. Yep, the department George W. Bush set up to protect the nation from terrorist attacks will now fight “Climate Change.”

With NASA’s new mission of Muslim outreach and the DHS fighting “Climate Change” our country is clearly on the right track.

Sens. John Ensign (R-Nev.), Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Scott Brown (R-Mass.) introduced a bill Thursday aimed at stopping WikiLeaks by making it illegal to publish the names of military or intelligence community informants.

Ensign accused WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and his "cronies" of hindering America’s war efforts and creating a "hit list" for U.S. enemies by outing intelligence sources.

“Our sources are bravely risking their lives when they stand up against the tyranny of al Qaeda, the Taliban and murderous regimes, and I simply will not stand idly by as they become death targets because of Julian Assange," Ensign said. "Let me be very clear, WikiLeaks is not a whistleblower website and Assange is not a journalist.”

Fox News military analyst Lt. Col. Ralph Peters had a harsh assessment of President Obama over the WikiLeaks case. He called him a “gutless wonder” for being more concerned with his open internet constituency than the national security of this nation.

Peters argues that we have the ability to take down the WikiLeaks website, but Obama chooses not to. We could destroy their computers remotely, but Obama chooses not to.

I agree with Peters that it’s a joke for Eric Holder to promise an “investigation” when we could do much more. Keep in mind, it was only a few days ago that the DOJ literally confiscated around 75 websites it decided were breaking the law. No letters, no threats, no trials, no judge, no jury, just confiscation.

Apparently, selling knock off Gucci bags is a bigger offense than leaking 250,000 stolen classified documents.

When you go to any of the sites now you see a big banner from ICE trumpeting the fact that it took the website. So we’re supposed to believe the NSA is incapable of taking down WikiLeaks?

I don’t buy it.

A security alert is under way in both the UK and the US after reports of a suspicious cargo package at a British airport.

I wrote about this the other day and the story is continuing to evolve along with the outrage to it. It’s simply stunning. John Brennan is a disgrace. He’s a politically correct fool who’s putting the entire country at risk.

I haven’t heard about this anywhere, but it’s easily the most disturbing thing I’ve read all year. Sadly, it doesn’t really surprise me that this politically correct administration would sink this low.

A top Hamas operative and unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism finance trial in US history (Holy Land Foundation) was give a VIP tour of two top-secret facilities. He toured the ultra-sensitive National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) run by CIA and the FBI training center in Quantico, VA.

The man’s name is Kifah Mustapha and he’s a well known radical Muslim and terror financier.

Here’s what a Homeland Security official with knowledge of the incident said about it:

Now a Homeland Security official (requesting anonymity for fear of retaliation by superiors) has contacted Big Peace saying that “the plugs had to be pulled on our system” in order to allow Kifah Mustapha to enter the NCTC and that “the NCTC has Kifah Mustapha on the highest watch list we have. There’s no way from a systems point-of-view that this could be an accidental oversight, unless they didn’t bother checking at all as they are required to do.”

If you or I asked to take a tour of the NCTC they would laugh in our face and say, “What NCTC?” But yet they give a known terrorist a VIP tour of the nerve center for the War on Terror. Horrifying doesn’t even begin to cover it.

This was done by the FBI as part of some phony outreach program. In what world do you reach out to your enemies and give them a tour of the place we use to hunt them?

Here’s what federal prosecutors laid out in court documents in 2008 about Mustapha during the Holy Land Foundation trial:

- Kifah Mustapha was personally named unindicted co-conspirator (#31) in the case, identifying him as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee that federal prosecutors say was formed to raise money for Hamas and was “committed to the globalization of Islam and violent jihad.”

- Holy Land Foundation records confiscated by the FBI indicate that he was a longtime employee of the group and was paid more than $154,000 between 1996 and 2000 when the group’s financial support for Hamas was at its peak.

- FBI Agent Lara Burns testified during the trial that Mustapha was a member of the notorious Al-Sakhra Band sponsored by the Holy Land Foundation and the Islamic Association for Palestine (another Hamas front group that was the parent group to CAIR) that regularly featured songs about murdering Jews and glorifying Hamas. The leader of the singing group, Mufid Abdelqader, was convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

- In a deposition in a civil case filed against the Holy Land Foundation and other Islamic groups by the parents of a Chicago teenager murdered by Hamas at a bus stop in Israel (the groups were found liable in a $156 million judgment), Mustapha admitted that he was the registered agent for the Holy Land Foundation’s Illinois office. His Chicago-area office was specifically named by the U.S. Treasury when the group was listed as a specially designated global terrorist group in December 2001.

- The Bridgeview Foundation, the mosque where Mustapha is presently an imam, was identified by the Chicago Tribune in 2004 as a national hot-spot for Hamas fundraising and terrorist support.

What else needs to be said? How the f*ck do you let this guy into the NCTC? Nobody gets into the NCTC. Are we living in The Twilight Zone? People should go to jail for allowing this to happen.
