I had to laugh out loud when I saw this. Rush Limbaugh is giddy over Obama’s release of his birth certificate. He’s crowing about the fact that it took a “reality TV star” to get Obama to release his birth certificate. He goes on to suggest other reality TV stars who could potentially force Obama to do things he doesn’t want to.

I agree with Rush about Trump. His press conference responding to Obama’s release of the birth certificate was television gold.

I’m happy to say I never bought into the “Birther” crap and today I have been vindicated. President Obama finally released his birth certificate. It’s bizarre that he waited this long, but nevertheless it’s finally out.

I really hoped Trump’s pandering to the Birther crowd had ended after his GMA interview last week. Sadly, it appears he’s at it again. This time The Donald went on “The View” and demanded to see Obama’s birth certificate. As I’ve said before, a far more troubling issue to me is Obama’s refusal to make his college transcripts public. No president in modern history has kept his college transcripts a secret. Why would he do that? What doesn’t he want us to see?

Since you’re twisting my arm I’ll give you my theory on the transcripts. I believe he’s keeping them a secret because he doesn’t want the voting public to see the classes he took. I suspect he took a lot of Afro-centric, and radical Marxist classes. The kind of far left garbage that would scare the hell out of most Americans. Had the American people seen his radical curriculum they would not have voted for him. Add Rev. Wright into the mix and his campaign would’ve been dead in the water.

Long after he’s left office those transcripts will be made public and we’ll get a chance to see just how radical the 44th POTUS really was.

Let me say right from the top that I think the Obama birth certificate controversy is complete BS. It’s a fringe issue for the kooks. If you’re a “birther” you have no credibility as far as I’m concerned. That said, I have to laugh at the position the governor of Hawaii now finds himself in. In an effort to stamp out the “birther” crap once and for all, Gov. Neil Abercrombie promised to release Obama’s birth certificate even if The White House didn’t want him to. Now he looks like an ass because he can’t find it. Rather than stamping out the controversy, he’s actually poured gasoline on it. 

His mistake was to get in the middle of the thing to begin with. You will never convince a conspiracy theorist that a conspiracy isn’t true. He can produce all the BC’s he wants, but the kooks will never believe it anyway. They’ll say the government created the birth certificate after Obama took office. Any explanation can be countered with another conspiracy theory.

Steve Cooper from The Conservative Monster had WorldNetDaily’s Joseph Farah on his radio program recently. Farah had some interesting things to say about Glenn Beck. He claims Beck is shutting out WorldNetDaily and refuses to associate with anyone who works there or has worked there.

Farah attributes this to WND’s relentless coverage of the Obama birth certificate scandal. I use the word scandal lightly, because I don’t really give a lot of credence to the idea that Obama wasn’t born here. There are so many atrocious things to fight this administration over that I think it would be a huge mistake for conservatives to hang their hat on a fringe issue like that.

That said, I like Joseph Farah and I have a lot of respect for WND. Aaron Klein is probably the best Middle East reporter in the nation. We’ll just have to agree to disagree on the birther issue.

WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah made an ass out of himself at the Tea Party Convention in Nashville when he launched into a 10-minute screed about Obama’s citizenship. Prior to Farah’s outburst, the only people really talking about “birthers” was the media.

Unfortunately, Farah decided to try and hijack the Tea Party Convention with his crank theories and mean-spirited rhetoric. It was neither helpful nor appreciated.

After Farah’s speech, Andrew Brietbart rightly criticized him and urged people to reject that kind of nonsense.

“It’s self-indulgent, it’s narcissistic, it’s a losing issue…It’s a losing situation. If you don’t have the frigging evidence — raising the question? You can do that to Republicans all day long. You have to disprove that you’re a racist! Forcing them to disprove something is a nightmare….We have a lot of strong arguments to be making, and that is a primary argument. That is an argument for the primaries that did not take hold. The arguments that these people right here are making are substantive arguments. The elections in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts were all won not on birther, but on substance.”

The list of things to attack President Obama on is long and distinguished, but his citizenship is a non-issue. It’s petty, it’s stupid, and more importantly there’s no evidence. The only people who believe Obama is not really a US citizen at this point are the kooks. Anyone who cares about winning elections or the Tea Party movement in general should stay the hell away from the kooks.

The “birthers” should get together with the “9/11 Truthers” and the “Fema Camp” conspiracy folks and form a new party. They can have their own conventions and give fiery conspiracy laden speeches all they want.

Just stay the hell away from Tea Parties, Republican Conventions, and anywhere else sane, rational people gather — we have elections to win and Democrats to defeat.
