Worshiping Obama from the studio just isn’t enough for America’s major network anchors. So Brian Williams, Katie Couric, and Charlie Gibson are packing their suitcases and heading overseas with the presumtive Democratic nominee. If Sen. Obama decides those anchors simply are not providing the level of glowing coverage he’s used to, he can always turn to the major print reporters for addtional coverage.

And while the anchors are jockeying for interviews with Mr. Obama at stops along his route, the regulars on the Obama campaign plane will have new seatmates: star political reporters from the major newspapers and magazines who are flocking to catch Mr. Obama’s first overseas trip since becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee. A “Meet the Press” interview is also being planned.

This is particularly intersting if you contrast it with the amount of media McCain received last time he visited Iraq. NBC’s Brian Williams gave Sen. McCain about 30 seconds in the “other political news” portion of his broadcast.

Bias? What Bias? That’s crazy talk.
