O.J. Simpson’s luck finally ran out today. After giving a brief statement to the court pretending to be sorry for his crimes, the judge sentenced him to 15 years to life in state prison. He’ll technically be eligible for paroll in 6 years, but most legal experts are skeptical he’ll be released.

Obviously, today’s sentence was for the armed robbery he committed in Las Vegas. However, it’s an especially sweet day because a vicious murderer has been taken off the streets. O.J. should have gotten the death penalty in 1995 and everyone including O.J. knows that.

O.J. Simpson is heading back to prison after allegations he violated bail conditions in a Las Vegas armed robbery and kidnapping case, US media reported on Friday.

Fox News and CNN reported the disgraced former American football star was being escorted back to Nevada from Miami with a bail bondsman and will be detained in custody until a bail hearing in Las Vegas next Wednesday.

Simpson’s bail was revoked for violating the terms of his bail agreement. It is believed that Simpson contacted one of his co-defendants by telephone and left a message on the answering machine.

The 60-year-old has been charged with a string of felony offenses in connection with an incident in Las Vegas on September 13, when he and a gang of men are alleged to have burst into a hotel room and seized sports memorabilia worth 80,000 dollars at gunpoint from two dealers.

Simpson’s lawyers have said the former sports star is innocent of wrongdoing and that no guns were involved. Simpson has said he was recovering property that had been stolen from him.

Prison time for O.J. Simpson is looking more likely by the day! A co-defendant in the O.J. Simpson armed robbery case told a judge Monday he would plead guilty to a felony and testify against Simpson and four others in the hotel room theft of sports collectibles from two memorabilia dealers.

The plea agreement with Charles Cashmore, 40, of Las Vegas ups the ante in the prosecution of Simpson. Cashmore can testify that guns were involved in the Sept. 13 confrontation with two sports memorabilia dealers at a Las Vegas casino hotel room, his lawyer said.
