The LA Times has a piece today proving once again that President Obama’s constant braying about all the things we have in common with the Muslim world are BS. What we’re facing is in fact a clash of civilizations, and yes, a religious war. Muslims want to spread their outdated and poisonous ideology as far and wide as they possibly can.

The Muslim world may as well be from another planet. About the only thing we have in common is the color of blood in our veins (allegedly).

A new Pew poll confirms the following about the Muslim world:

majorities in Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan and Nigeria would favor changing current laws to allow stoning as a punishment for adultery, hand amputation for theft and death for those who convert from Islam to another religion. About 85% of Pakistani Muslims said they would support a law segregating men and women in the workplace.

Muslims in Indonesia, Egypt, Nigeria and Jordan were among the most enthusiastic, with more than three-quarters of poll respondents in those countries reporting positive views of Islam’s influence in politics: either that Islam had a large role in politics, and that was a good thing, or that it played a small role, and that was bad.

The one bright spot in the poll concerned support for Al Qaeda:

Al Qaeda was rejected by strong majorities in every Muslim country except Nigeria, which gave the group a 49% approval rating.

Stoning, amputations, and segregation get a thumbs up but Al Qaeda gets a thumbs down. Progress?

I absolutely love stories like this. I sleep better at night knowing the vast majority of Americans are not pussies — it’s mostly just Obama and his ACLU cronies.

A new Pew poll shows support for torture at an all time high:

The often/sometimes number is up 10 points since Obama took office, and five points since Cheney started flaring up from retirement.

Oh, but it gets better. The breakdown by political affiliation is even more interesting:

The often/sometimes number is +2 since Obama took office, Indie’s are +9, and best of all Democrats are +18.

A new Pew poll completely smashes the narrative that far-left cretins have been pushing about Fox News. You constantly hear from the left that Fox News is a “right-wing propaganda outfit” and that only Republicans watch it. Clear thinking Americans have always known that to be nonsense, and a brand new Pew survey proves it.

Their annual survey of cable news audiences now shows:

• FNC: 39% Republican, 33% Democratic, 22% Independent
• CNN: 18% Republican, 51% Democratic, 23% Independent
• MSNBC: 18% Republican, 45% Democratic, 27% Independent

So when Fox News claims to be “Fair and Balanced” that apparently also extends to their audience. Does this mean that since it’s mostly Democrats who watch CNN and MSNBC that those channels are “left-wing propaganda outfits?”
