Is Patrick Kennedy Back On The Sauce?

March 11, 2010 · Filed Under Liberals, Video · 2 Comments

Rep. Patrick Kennedy, son of the late Ted Kennedy, took to the floor of The House today and delivered a hysterical speech about the media’s lack of coverage on Afghanistan. It was the loudest, shrillest, and most slur filled display we’ve seen from a politician so far in 2010. The only thing I can figure is that Kennedy is back on the sauce again. I have no proof of this, but I’m just asking questions here.

Christopher Buckley Now Realizes Obama Is A Radical Leftist

christopher buckley thumb Christopher Buckley Now Realizes Obama Is A Radical Leftist

Christopher Buckley, son of the late William F. Buckley, made headlines and fast friends at MSNBC when he announced he would be voting for Barack Obama.

Buckley, like NY Times columnist David Brooks is a phony Conservative “intellectual” who thinks he knows more than the rest of us. In reality, he’s a fool who allowed himself to be hoodwinked by a community organizer who gives good speeches.

Any asshat could have merely glanced at his record (a very short record) as a politician both on the state and federal level. Everything Obama supported and voted for was on the far, far, far, far left — out where the buses don’t run.

Everyone he associated himself with from college onward was a radical leftist, Marxist, Socialist, Communist, and/or black militant.

So when Buckley (like David Brookes) were positive he would be a pragmatic, centrist president they must have been suffering from an acid flashback.

Fast forward to today and Buckley is singing a different tune. He’s calling for Obama to scrap ObamaCare and warning about bankrupting the country.

Welcome back, Buckley. Glad you’re finally coming around, but you’re still a phony.

Democrats Now Taking Classes On How To Talk Tough About Terrorism

March 8, 2010 · Filed Under Politics, War on Terror · Comment

How lame is this? House Democrats are actually taking a training course on how to talk tough on terrorism. They want overcome the advantage Republicans have on national security by changing the words they use sound tougher.

Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.) attended one of Harman’s sessions when he was running for office in 2008. Now the president of the Democratic freshman class, he helped lead a session for other Democrats late last month. He said his party has to “avoid the trap of looking soft and weak” and that “there are strong adverbs, adjectives and verbs as opposed to weak.”

One example he offered: “I’m going to fight for American interests abroad” as opposed to “I’m going to defend American values.”

“Not that one is better than the other, but in language, one is more assertive and one’s stronger, and that’s where we need to be. Words matter,” he said. “The other side has paid a lot of attention to which words do you want to use. Democrats don’t always take this seriously.”

Democrats and liberals always think it’s just perception about them as opposed to substance that’s the problem. If they can only put new clothes on the pig it won’t be seen as a pig anymore.

The fact that Democrats have to be taught how to talk about terrorism is all the more reason they’re not fit to lead.

Republicans and Conservatives don’t consider every word they use and carefully choose words for effect. When we see a radical Muslim attempt to blow up an airliner we say exactly what we saw.

Hey America, a radical Muslim just tried to blow up an airliner over Detroit!

Democrats on the other hand are a bunch of phonies who are weighed down by the ugly scourge of political correctness. They can’t be honest about the threat and have to talk in PC language.

Hey America, an isolated extremist tried to blow up an airliner over Detroit!

When Republicans see radical Muslims blow shit up around the world we call it terrorism. When liberals see the exact same thing they call it “man caused disasters” or “extremist acts.”

None of this has anything to do with learning to talk the right way. It’s simply a matter of being real and being phony.

Rick Perry Kicks Tookus In Texas Primary

March 3, 2010 · Filed Under Conservatives, Politics · 3 Comments

Rick Perry

Rick Perry won huge in the Texas GOP Gubernatorial primary tonight with more than 50% of the vote. Kay Bailey Hutchison threw in the towel. Debra Medina aka 9/11 truther nut got 18% of the vote but refuses to support Perry.

I cast my vote here in Texas last Thursday and I’m proud to say I voted for Rick Perry. He’s been a great governor over the last eight years. His record doesn’t lie. Texas is in better financial shape than almost any other state. We have a huge surplus while most other states are running deficits. More jobs have been created in Texas over the last few years than in any other state. His policies are pro-growth, pro-business, and pro-freedom.

Take a listen to racist nut Louis Farrakhan blaming Obama’s failed presidency on the Jews. What I love about crazy Louis are the odd looking goons he always has standing around him like they’re about to do something. Look at that fool in the back with a bowtie on. Look at the shifty-eyed character in the gray suit.

Video: Meet Obama’s New ‘Fiscal Responsibility’ Commissioner Andy Stern

March 2, 2010 · Filed Under Liberals, Politics, Video · 3 Comments

How’s that for a good joke? Appointing the biggest labor union gangster in America to a ‘fiscal responsibility commission’ charged with finding ways to cut the deficit.

Andy Stern is head of the SEIU, the most ruthless labor union in the country. It’s also President Obama’s favorite union and the one that’s given him the most money.

Stern is a flat out Socialist who never saw an entitlement program that he didn’t salivate over. He’s a parasite, a thug, and an asshole to boot.

Here’s Andy advocating for the redistribution of wealth and global governance.

Obama sure knows how to pick’em doesn’t he?

Lindsey Graham: Phony Green Prophet

March 1, 2010 · Filed Under Politics, Republicans · 2 Comments

Lindsey Graham

Fears about the disastrous effects of so-called “climate change” I’m proud to say are almost exclusively on the left — almost. Unfortunately, we have two Republicans who are willing to sell the American people out for Al Gore’s phony ass science. One is John McCain and the other is Lindsey Graham.

NY Times columnist and green prophet Thomas Friedman sat down with Sen. Graham to discuss the GOP and phony climate change.

What brought you around, I ask? Graham’s short answer: politics, jobs and legacy. We start with politics. The Republican Party today has a major outreach problem with two important constituencies, “Hispanics and young people,” Graham explains:

“I have been to enough college campuses to know if you are 30 or younger this climate issue is not a debate. It’s a value. These young people grew up with recycling and a sensitivity to the environment — and the world will be better off for it. They are not brainwashed. … From a Republican point of view, we should buy into it and embrace it and not belittle them. You can have a genuine debate about the science of climate change, but when you say that those who believe it are buying a hoax and are wacky people you are putting at risk your party’s future with younger people. You can have a legitimate dispute about how to solve immigration, but when you start focusing on the last names of people the demographics will pass you by.”

This is the problem with phony Republicans like Graham. He’s unwilling to call BS what it is in the name of political expediency.

Since young people have been brainwashed at liberal universities to believe in Al Gore’s fairy tales we’re supposed to destroy our economy to fix a problem that doesn’t exist.

Everybody wants a cleaner planet. Nobody wants polluted air and water. The issue here is whether Co2 is a pollutant that government needs to control.

What the GOP should be focusing on is exposing the fraudulent science behind global warming and showing young people the truth. We cannot simply surrender our young minds to the Marxist professors that permeate college campuses.

Secondly, I agree that we need to get off foreign oil. Not because of phony climate change, but because we shouldn’t stay beholden to Arab regimes.

I’m all for finding alternatives to fossil fuels for the sole purpose of getting off foreign oil, but government should stay the hell out of it.

When it becomes profitable to use alternative fuels, the private sector will come in and develop them. The profit motive is what drives innovation. The government has no business trying to force innovations by taxing us to death and wrecking our economy.

Graham closes his interview with Friedman with this:

“What is our view of carbon as a party? Are we the party of carbon pollution forever in unlimited amounts? Pricing carbon is the key to energy independence, and the byproduct is that young people look at you differently.” Look at how he is received in colleges today. “Instead of being just one more short, white Republican over 50,” says Graham, “I am now semicool. There is an awareness by young people that I am doing something different.”

Oh good, Republicans should believe in phony climate change so young people on college campuses will think we’re cool.

I have a better one. Young people who believe in climate change are not being rebels, they’re being followers. They have become mindless drones who instead of “sticking it to the man” are only serving him. If they’re lucky, these kids will start to unlearn the crap they were spoon fed at $30,000 a year and begin thinking for themselves. It’s the GOP’s job to help facilitate that.

UPDATE: Global warming hysteria KILLS

This is good. Jeb Bush tries to resist criticizing Charlie Crist, but just can’t do it. Crist’s support of the phony stimulus is just too egregious. I couldn’t agree more.
