Attack Of The Race Hustlers
Jonah Goldberg has a fantastic piece up at NRO about the left’s phony race baiting over health care and everything in between. For a less cool-headed take on the subject you can read what I wrote after Maxine Waters said tea party protesters should be investigated for racist views.

Blah, blah, blah, racist, blah, blah, racist. Someone needs to throw this race baiting bitch out of office. I don’t really give a damn if radical blacks in Congress or an incompetent failed president like Carter call me a racist.
That charge is thrown at us by the left so many times a day, it barely gets an eye roll anymore. What a shock that the word “ObamaCare” is now racist. EVERYTHING is racist. The term “socialist” was labeled racist a couple of weeks ago by radical blacks. Let’s also not forget Joe Wilson’s outburst of “you lie” has also been labeled racist.
This phony racism campaign is nothing but the last desperate gasp of a dying liberal agenda. Obama pretends to be above the fray at all times, but he’s as guilty as the rest of the losers in his party for this race crap.
President Obama never plays the race card himself, (unless his friends get arrested) he sends his minions out to shovel the shit for him.
The only people in America who won’t stop talking about race are democrats. Democrats profess to be the champions of minorities and inner city blacks when in reality they’re nothing but 21st century slave owners.
The left keep their boot heels firmly planted on the neck of every single person living in the inner city. Every single thing liberals do for the poor and downtrodden is designed to keep them poor and downtrodden.
If inner city blacks were to become educated and improve their socio-economic position the left wouldn’t have a constituency anymore. Liberals are in the business of keeping the poor right where they are.
They fight tooth and nail to keep poor black kids stuck in gang infested, drug-filled hell holes they call schools rather than allow them to attend a private school for free through a school voucher program.
Every ghetto in America is a solid 100% democratic district and they’re all disaster areas and in most cases war zones. The millions of Americans trapped in those hell holes need to take a look around and ask themselves who the real racists are.

Attorney General: U.S. “Nation Of Cowards” When It Comes To Matters Of Race
Attorney General Eric Holder made his views quite clear today on matters of race during a speech to Justice Department employees to mark Black History Month. He said even though America is largely integrated in terms of race, we are a “nation of cowards” when it comes to discussing matters of race.
“Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and I believe continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards,” said Holder, nation’s first black attorney general.
Race issues continue to be a topic of political discussion, Holder said, but “we, as average Americans, simply do not talk enough with each other about race.”
He urged people of all races to use Black History Month as a chance for honest discussion of racial matters, including issues of health care, education, and economic disparities.
I’m not sure why Holder is giving speeches at the Justice Department for Black History Month, but beyond that I think he’s probably right. What our left-wing Attorney General left out was the reason we shy away from talking about race.
Liberals hijacked the issue of race decades ago and have used race and racism as a weapon against people they disagree with (i.e. republicans) ever since. The left’s favorite smear for anyone they disagree with is to publicly label that person a racist. It has gotten to the point that you don’t even need to mention race for your remarks to be labeled as racist. During the presidential election, liberals would label attack ads, op-eds, speeches, and even gestures as racist.
During the last presidential debate, John McCain referred to Barack Obama as “that one” and it was immediately seized upon by left-wingers as evidence that John McCain was a racist. Whenever a republican dared to mention Rev. Wright after the mainstream media had decided it was a settled issue and “old news” they were labeled a racist.
For a more recent example, let’s look at today’s Kansas City Star. I’m sure you’ve heard about the crazed Chimpanzee that went wild and nearly killed a woman, right? Well, in today’s NY Post there’s a cartoon implying that a crazed chimp wrote the stimulus bill. It shows a policeman shooting the chimp (just like in the real chimp story) with the caption, “They’ll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill.”
Right on cue, liberals have labeled the cartoon racist. Al Sharpton, NY Gov. Patterson, and other lefties are claiming the cartoon is really a stealth racist joke aimed at Barack Obama. I’m not sure if they really believe that or if they’re just playing the race card like good liberals, but either way it’s despicable and outrageous.
Another recent example is Miley Cyrus. She’s been labeled a racist over a silly picture she took with some friends. Some Asians were offended by the picture and are now suing Cyrus for $3 billion dollars (yes, billion). Obviously, that’s absurd and will go nowhere but the bigger point is how freely everyone is labeled a racist. Calling someone a racist is a very serious charge, or at least it used to be until liberals started calling everything and everyone racist.
On Feb 12th, UAW president Ron Gettelfinger decided to do a little race hustling for big labor in honor of Black History Month. He wrote in The Detroit News that people who don’t support big labor and Card Check are racists. He compares the struggle of big labor to strangle and bankrupt the auto industry to the legitimate civil rights struggles of black Americans.
So if the Attorney General is looking for someone to blame for the subject of race being so toxic — he should blame liberals.
