NAACP Concerned Someone ‘White’ Or ‘Irish’ Could Be Appointed Mayor Of Baltimore
The pending conviction of Baltimore Mayor Dixon on charges of theft and perjury have the NAACP worried. Not worried about corruption of course, but worried that the republican governor of Maryland could appoint someone “white” or someone “Irish” to replace the black mayor.
Marvin Cheatham, president of the Baltimore NAACP has introduced a resolution to strip the governor of his powers of appointment to prevent this nightmare scenario from happening.
Marvin L. Cheatham, the president of the Baltimore Chapter of the NAACP, introduced the resolution because he heard an attorney on a radio program discussing a lack of clarity on succession if Dixon were to be convicted and sentenced.
"Our concern is who would the governor appoint?" Cheatham said. "Here you have a predominantly African-American city. What if the governor appointed somebody white? … Would he appoint someone Irish to be the mayor?"
Isn’t it amazing how blatant black racism doesn’t even raise eyebrows? Can you imagine the outcry if a white guy voiced concern that a black guy could be appointed Mayor. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would parachute in within 24 hours with bull horns blaring and picket signs waving.
Lets play a little game and see if it sounds the same. Here’s the quote from above with a couple of small changes…

I don’t understand how the first statement is ok, but the second one isn’t. Both statements are equally racist.

Now, the former peanut farmer tells CNN he never said that. Carter claims he said the “fringe element” were racist — not the majority.

The term “socialist” was labeled racist a couple of weeks ago by radical blacks. Let’s also not forget Joe Wilson’s outburst of “you lie” has also been labeled racist.
This phony racism campaign is nothing but the last desperate gasp of a dying liberal agenda. Obama pretends to be above the fray at all times, but he’s as guilty as the rest of the losers in his party for this race crap.
President Obama never plays the race card himself, (unless his friends get arrested) he sends his minions out to shovel the shit for him.
The only people in America who won’t stop talking about race are democrats. Democrats profess to be the champions of minorities and inner city blacks when in reality they’re nothing but 21st century slave owners.
The left keep their boot heels firmly planted on the neck of every single person living in the inner city. Every single thing liberals do for the poor and downtrodden is designed to keep them poor and downtrodden.
If inner city blacks were to become educated and improve their socio-economic position the left wouldn’t have a constituency anymore. Liberals are in the business of keeping the poor right where they are.
They fight tooth and nail to keep poor black kids stuck in gang infested, drug-filled hell holes they call schools rather than allow them to attend a private school for free through a school voucher program.
Every ghetto in America is a solid 100% democratic district and they’re all disaster areas and in most cases war zones. The millions of Americans trapped in those hell holes need to take a look around and ask themselves who the real racists are.

Rumors Of Glenn Beck Suspension — Debunked
TVNewser reported earlier today that a tipster told them Glenn Beck is off this week on a “forced” vacation, but will be returning on Monday.
The tipster claims that Fox News brass suggested to Glenn that he should take a week off and let the furor over his “racism” remarks die down a bit.
If you recall, Glenn Beck said on the air a couple of weeks ago that President Obama is a “racist” with a “deep seated hatred of white people:
Those comments prompted left-wing organization “Color Of Change” to pressure Beck’s advertisers to drop their ads from his show. Around 20 companies allegedly agreed to pull their ads, however Ed Morrissey has debunked this and puts the real number at only a handful.
The companies that did pull their ads from Beck’s afternoon show simply moved them to a different Fox show, so Fox News hasn’t lost any revenue.
At any rate, Beck’s publicist Matthew Hiltzik flatly denies that Glenn is on any kind of forced vacation, and even sent proof the vacation was planned:
Sources close to Beck have contacted TVNewser denying that this was a forced vacation. Beck’s personal publicist Matthew Hiltzik forwarded us an email dated July 14th sent by Christopher Balfe, President & COO of Mercury Radio Arts and General Manager of Beck’s radio show, addressed to Mercury Radio employees reading:
Glenn will be off of radio & TV the week of August 17th, returning to air August 24th.
I don’t believe FNC brass sent Beck on a vacation. Beck is a superstar at Fox with ratings that are unprecedented at his time slot.
As usual, the media missed the real story beyond the Beck controversy. The organization “Color of Change” that’s behind the boycott was founded by President Obama’s “Green” czar named Van Jones.
Jones is an ex-con and admitted Communist who now works in the White House. So in effect, The White House is targeting a cable news host through the front group “Color of Change”.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, “The Color of Change” is a bright shade of RED.

Linda Chavez: No More Racial Sell-Outs
Linda Chavez has a great piece today at Townhall.com about the sick tradition of leftist minorities labeling non-leftist minorities as “traitors” or “Uncle-Tom’s” or “sell-outs.”
Chavez happens to be a conservative Latina who was predictably attacked by some Latinos for her criticism of Supreme Court Justice Nominee Sonia Sotomayor.
The black cop who assisted Sgt. Crowley in the now infamous arrest of Obama’s buddy Skip Gates says he’s been called an “Uncle Tom” because of his support for a white policeman.
The same people who decry racism at every turn think nothing of attacking people of color who disagree with them.
I think it’s pretty damn racist to assume that everyone who shares your skin color thinks exactly alike. If you’re Hispanic or Black you obviously hate the Police and vote Democrat — those are the rules.
Fortunately, that’s not the case. For every racist black professor like Gates who profits from stoking racial tension, there’s a black man like Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas who believes in ending racial discrimination in all its forms and moving the country forward.

The ironic thing is that this guy doesn’t have the first damn thing in common with inner city blacks. He loves to wax poetic about his blackness and black issues, but he only does it from the comfort of his ivory towers.

Obama Semi-Apologizes For Inflaming Gates-Gate
After realizing his phony attempt to gin up a racial controversy had backfired, President Obama tried to walk back his criticism of the Cambridge Police Department today.
The president didn’t have the stones to admit that he behaved “stupidly” by commenting on a case he didn’t know the first damn thing about.
He probably should have dug a little deeper and actually read the police report or spoken with the black and Latino officers who were with Sgt. Crowley at the time of the arrest.
Obama created a phony racial controversy where none existed except in the mind of a race hustling black professor from Harvard.
Obama let his Rev. Wright hang out yesterday and now he’s trying to put him away again.

Breitbart: Lone Wolf Shooters Have A Lot In Common With The Left
Andrew Breitbart has written yet another great column. This week he attacks the liberal media for attempting to tie the Holocaust Museum shooter and others to the Conservative movement.
Here’s a little taste:
While Mr. von Brunn is currently being made out to be the poster child of the Republican Party, even a cursory look at his professed views shows he is the avowed enemy of the GOP in its current incarnation. Among many others, Mr. von Brunn hates Rupert Murdoch, Fox News (that means you, too, Shep!), George W. Bush and John McCain. And according to the FBI, Mr. von Brunn even had in his vehicle the address of the Weekly Standard, home base of the dreaded "neo-cons."
Seems Mr. von Brunn wasn’t a big fan of the Iraq War and also believed that 9/11 was an "inside job." Given this political sketch, Mr. von Brunn would feel at home at Camp Casey, Cindy Sheehan’s antiwar outpost in Crawford, Texas, and at the Daily Kos convention, rather than partaking in a National Review cruise with pro-Israeli war hawks Mark Steyn and Victor Davis Hanson.
The inconvenient truth is that David Duke and James von Brunn currently share more in common with Markos Moulitsas and Arianna Huffington than with Bill Kristol and Charles Krauthammer. But the right wouldn’t be so crass or foolish to try to blame the political left for the existence of – or motivation behind – haters like Mr. von Brunn.
It’s the left side of the aisle that hates Jews. You won’t find anyone at a Conservative gathering wearing pro-Palestinian or pro-Hamas attire, but you’ll sure as hell see it at any liberal “progressive” rally.
How ironic that just a couple of days after the Holocaust Museum shooting, Obama’s former pastor, Rev. Wright, said “them Jews” won’t let him talk to Obama.
He went on to blather about “Zionism” controlling the government and other such nonsense. Sounds pretty racist to me, and Wright is to the left of Karl Marx.
The reality is that the surge in violence is primarily a cause of the economic downturn. A surge in violence almost always accompanies a recession or depression.
The people who were barely hanging on to their sanity prior to the recession are starting to snap.
It doesn’t have anything to do with political parties. It’s about crazy and not crazy.

Case Dismissed Against 3 Racist Black Panthers
This from The Washington Times:
Justice Department political appointees overruled career lawyers and ended a civil complaint accusing three members of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense of wielding a nightstick and intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place last Election Day, according to documents and interviews.
The incident – which gained national attention when it was captured on videotape and distributed on YouTube – had prompted the government to sue the men, saying they violated the 1965 Voting Rights Act by scaring would-be voters with the weapon, racial slurs and military-style uniforms.
This was an open and shut case of racism and voter intimidation that was caught on video, but the Obama Justice Department chose to dismiss it — purely coincidental I’m sure.
Here’s what a prominent 1960s civil rights activist said about the incident:
Career lawyers pursued the case for months, including obtaining an affidavit from a prominent 1960s civil rights activist who witnessed the confrontation and described it as “the most blatant form of voter intimidation” that he had seen, even during the voting rights crisis in Mississippi a half-century ago.
This goes right along with the far left thinking that currently permeates The White House and most of the government.
The same people who spent a lifetime fighting racial discrimination against blacks, now suddenly don’t worry about it too much when it’s reversed. Racist blacks can say anything and do anything, without anyone saying a word about it.
Ironically, members of the so-called New Black Panther Party were on National Geographic a couple of months back smearing Barack Obama, saying he was a tool of the white devil, etc.
These black racists are no different than Neo-Nazi skin head groups or any other hate groups. Yet, somehow the far-left still feels a kind of kinship with these fools.
I don’t dispute the legitimate need for groups like the Panthers back in the 1960s, but this new group is nothing like the original and is totally uncalled for today.
The Eric Holder DOJ will no doubt continue this kind of one-sided justice just as Sonia Sotomayor did with the white firefighters who were denied promotions because they were white.
Everyone in America should be subject to the same rules regardless of skin color or ethnicity.
