Sony Recalls Video Game After Single Complaint From Muslim
Sony’s newest big budget video game called LittleBigPlanet was recalled after receiving a complaint from a Muslim on the Playstation forums.
The complaint cited a single musical track in which two Islamic phrases from the Qur’an are used in the game.
Here’s what alleged Muslim “Solid_08″ wrote:
We Muslims consider the mixing of music and words from our Holy Qur’an deeply offending. We hope you would remove that track from the game immediately via an online patch, and make sure that all future shipments of the game disk do not contain it.
We would also like to mention that this isn’t the first time something like this happened in videogames. Nintendo’s 1998 hit “Zelda: Ocarina of Time” contained a musical track with islamic phrases, but it was removed in later shipments of the game after Nintendo was contacted by Muslim organizations. Last year, Capcom’s “Zack & Wiki” and Activision’s “Call of Duty 4″ also contained objectionable material offensive to Muslims that was spotted before the release of the final games, and both companies thankfully removed the content.
Here’s what the Islamofascist found so offensive:
1) In the 18th second: “كل نفس ذائقة الموت” (”kollo nafsin tha’iqatol mawt”, literally: ‘Every soul shall have the taste of death’).
2) Almost immediately after, in the 27th second: “كل من عليها فان” (”kollo man alaiha fan”, literally: ‘All that is on earth will perish’).
Immediately, Sony executives together with the game’s developers conceited like cowards and issued the following statement:
As some of you may have noticed, LBP has been slightly delayed in some territories. At MM we were as shocked and dismayed by this as anyone - shellshocked and gutted. We can’t wait for you all to get playing and creating!
We learnt yesterday that there is a lyric in one of the licensed tracks which some people may find offensive, and which slipped through the usual screening processes. Obviously MM and Sony together took this very seriously. LBP should be enjoyable by all. So within 12 hours of hearing about this issue involving a lyric (in Somalian, I believe!), Media Molecule had prepared an automatic day 0 patch and had a new disk image ready; however a decision was made within Sony that the right thing to do for quality and support of people with no on-line was to replace existing disks. They assure us that they are doing everything in their power to get things straightened out as fast as possible, and will announce dates soon.
Just in case any Muslim feathers were still ruffled by the incident, Sony made an extra apology on the U.S. Playstation Blog:
During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur’an. We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologize for any offense that this may have caused.
We will begin shipping LittleBigPlanet to retail in North America the week of October 27th. Sorry for the delay, and rest assured, we are doing everything we can to get LittleBigPlanet to you as soon as possible.
The idea that the world must walk on egg shells for fear of offending the delicate sensibilities of Muslims is really pathetic. A single complaint caused the release of a multi-million dollar video game to be halted and in many instances recalled over two phrases in a single track.
I’m willing to bet if Sony had received a complaint from a Christian about something ‘offensive’ in the game, it would have simply been ignored. It would have been ignored because Christians don’t go ape shit and start murdering people and burning cars in the street when they’re offended.
Remember back to the Danish cartoon incident or when the Pope said something Muslims found offensive, there was literally blood in the streets.
For companies or individuals to cave to that kind of pressure gives the impression to Islamofascists that using terror and intimidation is an appropriate response to being slighted (real or imagined).
You expect the gutless Europeans to give in out of fear of offending the Muslim hoards, but not in America. We have something called freedom of speech in this country and if Muslims find that offensive they should move to an Islamic country.

9/11 Pledge: ‘I Will Not Submit’
Hat tip to Michelle Malkin for getting the above translated. Everyone should read Michelle’s 9/11 anniversary message.
As we mourn the loss of of our fellow countrymen 7 years ago, it’s important also to remember that the fight is not over — not by a long shot.
The radical ideology that led to 9/11 is alive and well in the world and Americans must not be fooled by those who seek to downplay the threat or blame America for the attacks.
The NY Times Hates People Who Hate Radical Islam
Deborah Soloman of The NY Times conducted a disgraceful interview with author and critic of radical Islam Brigitte Gabriel a few days ago.
In her book “They Must Be Stopped,” Gabriel is critical of the way Islamic fundamentalists are trying to burrow there way into American society. Gabriel is a Christian who was born and raised in Lebanon and speaks from experience about the dangers of allowing Islam to spread unchecked.
Deborah Soloman like her radical left-wing colleagues at the NY Times believes that it’s Gabriel that’s the real problem not the insane Muslim killers.
Here’s a few gems from the interview:
As a Lebanese-Christian immigrant who spent her girlhood amid the bloody devastation of the Lebanese civil war, you have lately emerged as one of the most vehement critics of radical Islam in this country. Are you concerned that your new book, “They Must Be Stopped,” will feed animosity toward Muslims? I do not think I am feeding animosity. I am bringing an issue to light. I disapprove of any religion that calls for the killing of other people. If Christianity called for that, I would condemn it.
What about all the moderate Muslims who represent our hope for the future? Why don’t you write about them? The moderate Muslims at this point are truly irrelevant. I grew up in the Paris of the Middle East, and because we refused to read the writing on the wall, we lost our country to Hezbollah and the radicals who are now controlling it.
In your new book, you write about the Muslim presence in America and bemoan the rise of Islamic day schools and jihad summer camp. Is there really such a thing? Yes. Instead of taking lessons on swimming and gymnastics, the kids are listening to speakers give lectures titled “Preparation for Death” and “The Life in the Grave.”…
Here’s the best part:
Are your parents still in Lebanon? I became an orphan at the age of 23. Both my parents are buried in Israel, on Mount Zion, with Oskar Schindler.
Why did you bury them in Israel? I wanted to honor my parents. After all, it is the Holy Land. And I wanted to ensure that both my children will know where my loyalty lies — with Israel, because Israel for me represents democracy, respect and human rights, something that no other country in the Arabic world offers.
Are you an agent of the U.S. government? No.
Are you underwritten by the C.I.A.? No. Are you kidding? In 2000, I voted for Al Gore.
But I see that R. James Woolsey, a former director of the C.I.A., serves on the board of American Congress for Truth, your educational foundation. We also have John Loftus, a staunch Democrat and former Justice Department prosecutor. We are not Red or Blue.
Where do you live? I do not share that information because of the death threats I receive.
Threats from anyone we know? Al Qaeda mentioned my name on their top Internet sites and recently sent a press release about my work.
If you are worried about death threats, why would you put a glamorous photograph of yourself on the cover of your new book? In Lebanon, we were raised to be glamorous, feminine and sensual. It’s the only good thing we inherited from the French.
It really shows you just how far off the reservation The NY Times has gone. This nutty left-winger thinks anyone who hates radical Islam and loves Israel must be a C.I.A. plant. She simply cannot conceive of anyone holding such normal (and completely accurate) viewpoints. I don’t think that last question about where she lives was an accident either. The sickos on the left would love it if an Islamic militant tracked down Ms. Gabriel and wore her head as a hat.

Fear Of Muslim Backlash Leads Publisher To Cancel Book
Book publisher Random House decided not to publish a novel about the prophet Muhammad’s wife. The book titled The Jewel Of Medina gives a fictional account of the prophet Mohammad’s wife Aiesha.
After public condemnation by UT professor Denise Spellberg and some Islamic scholars, Random House decided not to publish the book. Spellberg called the book a “very ugly, very stupid piece of work” and warned that Muslims will likely find the book offensive.
It is beyond outrageous that even in the U.S. we have to walk on egg shells when it comes to Islam. I find it incredibly offensive that we have to be censored out of fear of violent Muslim backlash. If Christians reacted violently every time someone insulted Jesus, America would be a war torn wasteland.
Radical Muslims desperately want to gain a foothold in America the way they have in Europe. Even more frightening is what has become of our neighbor to the north. Take a look at Canada if you want to see where all this nonsense leads. You can and will be charged with a crime in Canada for writing books or articles that offend Muslims. Read what happened to Mark Steyn if you think I’m exaggerating.
This is not the Middle East, this is America and I will never censor what I write out of fear of Muslims. Unlike in Britain where people live in fear of the Muslim masses, Americans have the advantage of being armed.
If Muslims can’t assimilate and quit being so touchy about their radical religion then they should go back to whatever third world hell hole they came from.
Rather than not publish books about Islam, we should be publishing more books about Islam, preferably ones that offend the delicate sensibilities of Muslims.
Any Muslim that would like to issue a fatwa calling for my death, I welcome it. To borrow a line from President Bush, “bring it on.”

Al-Jazeera Admits Celebrating Release Of Child-Killing Terrorist Was Wrong
Radical Islamic news station Al-Jazeera is admitting that it violated its own code of ethics when it literally held an on-air party complete with cake and soft drinks for Lebonese terrorist Samir Kuntar after he was released from an Israeli prison as part of a prisoner exchange with Hezbollah.
Kuntar was serving multiple life sentences for the murder of four Israelis. One of his victims was a four-year old girl whose head he bashed in with a rifle butt. Kuntar is a savage murderer who should have been hanged years ago for his crimes.
Sign The Petition Supporting Terror Warrior Geert Wilders
Geert Wilders is the dutch politician who continues to risk his life by fighting back against the spread of radical Islam. He’s the one who recently released the short movie called Fitna, that tells the truth about Islam. Radical Muslims are of course reacting to the film in the only way they know how, through violence and intimidation.

Arab Study: 55% Say Offensive Words Justify Violence
Via LGF:
The poll adds weight to the vote at a session of the Doha Debates held on March 3 in Doha, where the motion “This house believes that Muslims are failing to combat extremism”, was carried by more than 70% of the audience.
In the YouGov survey, nearly half of all Arabs in the Gulf, Levant and North Africa said they have met someone who holds extreme religious views.
Asked under what conditions violence is permissible, more than 60% cited Western interference in a Muslim country, while 55% said offensive words or behaviour was a trigger.
More than half the respondents also believed that poor religious leadership is to blame for today’s extremism – although seven out of 10 said the size of the problem had been exaggerated.
Eight out of 10 believed it provides an excuse for the West to interfere in Muslim countries.
In the poll, conducted between March 18 and 23, views of 940 people across the Arab world were surveyed.
At least they recognize their utter failure at combating extremism, unfortunately more than half believe words justify violence.
Everyone has punched someone in the face for saying something crappy at one time in their life, but the kind of violence radical Muslims resort to over offensive words is usually mass murder.

Azerbaijan says it stopped attack near U.S. Embassy
Azerbaijan said Monday it had foiled a radical Islamic group’s plot to carry out a “large-scale horrifying terror attack” near the U.S. Embassy.
The United States and Britain temporarily closed their embassies in Baku, capital of the former Soviet republic.
The National Security Ministry said one suspect was killed and several others were detained in a weekend sweep outside Baku.
“Several people belonging to a Wahhabi group have been detained. They were planning terrorist attacks near the U.S. Embassy in Baku,” said Arif Babayev, a spokesman for the National Security Ministry.
