America’s favorite Poverty Pimp, Al Sharpton, has a new racial grievance. Even after listening to this twice, I’m not really sure how to explain exactly what Sharpton wants.

All I know is that when Al Sharpton is behind a microphone and you hear the words, “We are owed our percentage of the spoils” — it can’t be good.

Sharpton’s argument boils down to this. Whatever the percentage of blacks are in a given community is the amount of “spoils” the government should hand over.

So if blacks make up 80% of the population of Detroit, then 80% of the so-called “spoils” should go to blacks. Which means 80% of government contracts should go to black businesses.

I really think Democrats have gone off the deep end. These people are f*cking crazy. Militant black Congressman Emanuel Cleaver stuck a $48 BILLION earmark in the $1.27 trillion omnibus spending bill proposed by Democrats. The $48 billion would redistribute money to the inner cities and give money to the poor.

…the $48 billion earmark would funnel money into the inner cities to give money to the poor and thereby produce a much larger consumer class to buy the goods and services produced in this country.

Here’s how Cleaver’s office describes it:

"The Epicenter is a proposed estimated $48 billion (Phase One) mass scale urban reclamation project for combating, reducing, reversing and/or eliminating poverty within under served communities by utilizing mass scale economic redevelopment to bring about stability and self reliance.

If we would just hand out free money in the ghetto we could eliminate poverty! What an innovative idea! Inner city black could get an extra 50K on top of that by moving out of the city and filing a claim with Pigford.

I don’t like Howard Dean at all, but I do have to give him credit for being one of the more honest leftists out there. He’s shockingly candid sometimes about the Obama agenda and it’s quite refreshing.

The following is a 2001 radio interview with Barack Obama in which he gives his REAL interpretation of the constitution. He says one of the great failures of the civil rights movement was not getting the courts to pursue ‘redistribution of wealth.’

He goes on to say that he doesn’t believe it’s realistic to expect the courts to redistribute wealth, however he doesn’t think it’s too late to do it LEGISLATIVELY.
