He says Republicans need to man up and call out Sarah Palin as being unelectable and basically tell her to get out of the way.

Joe twists some of Palin’s recent comments to suggest that she’s denigrated Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush.

…Palin can’t stop herself from taking swings at Republican giants. In the past month alone, she has mocked Ronald Reagan’s credentials, dismissed George H.W. and Barbara Bush as arrogant “blue bloods” and blamed George W. Bush for wrecking the economy.

…And now a point of personal privilege. I work hard every day to assume the best of Americans who engage in public service. But I am offended by Palin’s attempt to build herself up by tearing down great men like Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush.

To suggest that Palin has taken shots or in any way sought to denigrate Ronald Reagan is laughable. You’d be hard pressed to find another Conservative who touts Ronald Reagan as much as Palin. She mentions Reagan in nearly every speech. She’s a fierce promoter of Reagan and everything he stood for.

When Larry King asked former first Lady Barbara Bush what she thought of Sarah Palin, Bush said she’s a beautiful woman who should stay in Alaska.

[Watch Barbara Bush comment on Sarah Palin]

In response to Barbara Bush’s jab, Sarah Palin referred to her as a “blue blood.” Joe Scarborough finds that highly offensive. In his Politico column he rips the blue bloods remark and launches into a diatribe about George H.W. Bush’s lengthy and heroic record.

I think Scarborough is off his meds. What does H.W.’s distinguished record have to do with a back and forth between his wife and Palin?

Sarah Palin has never had an unkind word for George H.W. Bush. He’s one of the finest Americans this nation has ever produced. Is Palin not allowed to respond to a jab from Barbara Bush? It wasn’t even tough, it was a good natured jab back.

Joe’s hit piece is a hysterical attempt to destroy Sarah Palin using distortions and outright lies. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. Joe is a television conservative. A RINO Republican. He ingratiates himself with the Manhattan liberal elites by bashing people on the right. He’s more than happy to tap dance to MSNBC’s tune as long as he gets to keep his TV show.

Joe Scarborough is David Frum’s long lost brother. They both love to bash the right, they both think they know everything, and they both write books that nobody reads.

I don’t know if Sarah Palin should run for president. I don’t know if Sarah Palin would be a good president. Hell, I don’t know if she could even get elected.

But it shouldn’t be up to phony TV hosts, wives of former presidents, or Republican elites to decide if Sarah Palin runs for president. She has every right to run and the American people will decide if they want to elect her.

Lindsey Graham: Phony Green Prophet

Politics

Republicans

Environment

Global Warming

lindsey graham

phony climate change

rinos

Fears about the disastrous effects of so-called “climate change” I’m proud to say are almost exclusively on the left — almost. Unfortunately, we have two Republicans who are willing to sell the American people out for Al Gore’s phony ass science. One is John McCain and the other is Lindsey Graham.

NY Times columnist and green prophet Thomas Friedman sat down with Sen. Graham to discuss the GOP and phony climate change.

What brought you around, I ask? Graham’s short answer: politics, jobs and legacy. We start with politics. The Republican Party today has a major outreach problem with two important constituencies, “Hispanics and young people,” Graham explains:

“I have been to enough college campuses to know if you are 30 or younger this climate issue is not a debate. It’s a value. These young people grew up with recycling and a sensitivity to the environment — and the world will be better off for it. They are not brainwashed. … From a Republican point of view, we should buy into it and embrace it and not belittle them. You can have a genuine debate about the science of climate change, but when you say that those who believe it are buying a hoax and are wacky people you are putting at risk your party’s future with younger people. You can have a legitimate dispute about how to solve immigration, but when you start focusing on the last names of people the demographics will pass you by.”

This is the problem with phony Republicans like Graham. He’s unwilling to call BS what it is in the name of political expediency.

Since young people have been brainwashed at liberal universities to believe in Al Gore’s fairy tales we’re supposed to destroy our economy to fix a problem that doesn’t exist.

Everybody wants a cleaner planet. Nobody wants polluted air and water. The issue here is whether Co2 is a pollutant that government needs to control.

What the GOP should be focusing on is exposing the fraudulent science behind global warming and showing young people the truth. We cannot simply surrender our young minds to the Marxist professors that permeate college campuses.

Secondly, I agree that we need to get off foreign oil. Not because of phony climate change, but because we shouldn’t stay beholden to Arab regimes.

I’m all for finding alternatives to fossil fuels for the sole purpose of getting off foreign oil, but government should stay the hell out of it.

When it becomes profitable to use alternative fuels, the private sector will come in and develop them. The profit motive is what drives innovation. The government has no business trying to force innovations by taxing us to death and wrecking our economy.

Graham closes his interview with Friedman with this:

“What is our view of carbon as a party? Are we the party of carbon pollution forever in unlimited amounts? Pricing carbon is the key to energy independence, and the byproduct is that young people look at you differently.” Look at how he is received in colleges today. “Instead of being just one more short, white Republican over 50,” says Graham, “I am now semicool. There is an awareness by young people that I am doing something different.”

Oh good, Republicans should believe in phony climate change so young people on college campuses will think we’re cool.

I have a better one. Young people who believe in climate change are not being rebels, they’re being followers. They have become mindless drones who instead of “sticking it to the man” are only serving him. If they’re lucky, these kids will start to unlearn the crap they were spoon fed at $30,000 a year and begin thinking for themselves. It’s the GOP’s job to help facilitate that.

UPDATE: Global warming hysteria KILLS

-Chris Jones

Limbaugh: Scozzafava Guilty of ‘Bestiality’ For Screwing Every RINO In The Country

Conservatives

Video

Audio

bestiality

conservative talk radio

dede scozzafava

rinos

Rush Limbaugh

This is truly one of Rush’s best: (hat tip Gateway Pundit)

This is truly one of Rush’s best:

(hat tip Gateway Pundit)

Predictable: Meghan McCain Attacks Michelle Malkin

GOP

Politics

Chris Jones

Conservatives

gop politics

mccain malkin

meghan mccain

meghan mccain attacks malkin

Michelle Malkin

Opinion

rino meghan mccain

rinos

She has attacked Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, Karl Rove, and most other conservatives, so it was only a matter of time before Meghan McCain spewed her RINO (Republican In Name Only) venom at Michelle Malkin. Such is the case with Meghan McCain.

What I find most irritating about Meghan is the way in which she goes about flogging her opinions. The whole thing is just so painfully predictable. We’ve seen it time and time again.

If you’re a republican and you want a media career just bash other republicans. If you’re a washed up hack republican and want a new lease on life you just bash other republicans. In less than twenty four hours your schedule will be booked solid for the next month.

You can hit Olbermann, Matthews, and Maddow one week. Then hit Larry King, Fareed what’s his name, and maybe Wolf Blitzer the next week. By week three you really begin to hit your stride with an appearance on The View.

Accuse republicans of being small minded bigots and homophobes and you can squeeze another few weeks of TV out of it at the least.

Meghan McCain knows exactly what she’s doing. This is about her finding a career as a so-called republican for her dad’s sake, but still get to attend the liberal cocktail party circuit. It’s blatant, it’s obvious, and it’s sick.

This all started with Meghan attacking Ann Coulter in a column on The Daily Beast. I was happy to see Ann respond in the most effective way she could have — not responding at all. Ann hasn’t so much as mentioned Meghan McCain. That was a far more brutal way to respond than anything she could have said. Her silence spoke for itself.

Let me also say, I’m sympathetic to many of Meghan’s views. I’m only 27 and don’t share many of the socially conservative views that elders in the party do. However, I don’t criticize the wing of the party that is conservative, because they are an important element.

I also believe in loyalty, and attacking people in the party who’ve done far more than I to spread the republican brand is foolish and immature. I also think throwing people under the bus for the sake of a media career is disgusting.

Appearing on MSNBC to bash republicans is high treason as far as I’m concerned.

Here’s Meghan’s most recent appearance on Larry King. Oddly enough, she won’t appear on O’Reilly even though he’s invited her numerous times. Liberals loved to cite Brooks as the proof that even republicans supported Obama. The reality is that Brooks doesn’t speak for anyone in the republican party. He’s a “conservative” elitist who can barely contain his contempt for regular folks or for candidates like Sarah Palin who didn’t go to Harvard. Nothing makes David Brooks swoon like an Ivy League education.

He waxed poetic in his columns during the campaign about how Barack was really an undercover moderate who would govern from the center. Regardless of his socialist rhetoric, once in office Obama will temper his rhetoric and become a truly great president. He went on to describe Sarah Palin as a “cancer in the republican party” which even looking back remains an incredibly ugly and uncalled for remark. His most recent act of treason was to attack Bobby Jindal’s speech the other night.

But now six weeks into Obama’s presidency, Mr. Brooks is having second thoughts:

Those of us who consider ourselves moderates — moderate-conservative, in my case — are forced to confront the reality that Barack Obama is not who we thought he was. His words are responsible; his character is inspiring. But his actions betray a transformational liberalism that should put every centrist on notice. As Clive Crook, an Obama admirer, wrote in The Financial Times, the Obama budget “contains no trace of compromise. It makes no gesture, however small, however costless to its larger agenda, of a bipartisan approach to the great questions it addresses. It is a liberal’s dream of a new New Deal.”

Maybe Brooks should take a break from the NYC cocktail circuit and listen to what us little people have to say one in a while. We all knew Obama meant what he said. He promised “Change” and said it would be socialist change (only he worded it more delicately). With a total lock on every branch of government the left is still pinching itself, because it cannot believe it has truly unchecked power. Every big spending, liberal policy dreamed up over the last 30 years is going to become reality and people like David Brooks can certainly share in the blame.

Obama is such a committed leftist that he’s willing to sacrifice his potential re-election for the sake of transforming America into a socialist nanny state. All the cries from democrats over the last eight years about the cost of Iraq ring stunningly hollow in the wake of the unprecedented spending by the new administration. We’re going through trillions the way we used to go through millions. The war in Iraq was pocket change compared what has been spent just in the last 6 weeks, and we’re just warming up.

-Chris Jones

Video: Rush Limbaugh Blasts Conservative Jindal Bashers

Media

Video

bobby jindal

rinos

Rush Limbaugh

I’m glad Rush spoke up about this.
