Ron Paul does occasionally say something worthwhile when it comes to economic matters, but when it comes to foreign policy the guy is a f*cking idiot.

Either Ron Paul is just too stupid to understand what’s really going or he’s just pretending to be. Either way, I’m sorry he’s my congressman and I sure as hell didn’t vote for him.

I don’t know what “preemptive” measures Israel has taken against Hamas, but maybe we’re watching two different wars. Israel invaded Gaza to stop Hamas from sending hundreds of rockets into Israeli cities with the purpose of killing or maiming civilians. Hamas wasn’t maybe gonna fire rockets in the future, they had been actively rocketing Israel for months in violation of the Egyptian brokered cease-fire.

Ron Paul is just a bitter old anti-Semite. He’s been on a crusade to end our support for Israel for years.

Democrats keeps screaming for Hillary Clinton to get out of the race and let Obama run his race as the as the chosen Democratic nominee.

Dems are not the only ones with left-overs gumming up the works, Republicans too have a walking “party foul” named Ron Paul. Most people realize that John McCain is the Republican nominee and Ron Paul is not, and never will be.

However, as with most things, Ron Paul and his supporters see things differently. Since they can’t win fair and square, they’re gonna try and ruin the convention for everyone.

What always strikes me as odd though, is why the Paulnuts are so determined to be included in a party with which they have absolutely nothing in common?

Ron Paul’s radical beliefs particularly on foreign policy are much more inline with Barack Obama and the Democrats than with pretty much anyone in the Republican party (Joe Lieberman included)

Randy Gray, the Midland County, Michigan coordinator for the Ron Paul campaign is also a longstanding active and vocal organizer for the Knight’s Party faction of the Ku Klux Klan.

A number of people have brought this to the attention of the Paul campaign, to which they have had no response. However, quite mysteriously the list of Michigan county contacts on the official site of the Ron Paul campaign has vanished.

It’s just too bad the Ron Paul thugs can’t make Google’s cached pages disappear, because phenry over at Daily Kos has located the missing pages.

Also, the allegedly independent site michigan4ronpaul.com is suddenly missing Midland County and the name of its KKK coordinator.

Without a doubt the Ron Paul supporters are going to claim that this is yet another conspiracy and it’s a total coincidence and/or complete fabrication every time Paul is associated with hate groups.

As a little icing on the cake, here is the now missing profile of Midland County Coordinator Randy Grey from the michigan4ronpaul.com website. Notice how Ron Paul is smiling and shaking the man’s hand?

If that still isn’t enough for you, then please enjoy the above YouTube clip showing Randy Grey with a freshly shaved head holding a friendly KKK rally. He’s got that whole “angry Führer” thing down pretty well don’t you think??

I know you Ron Paul supporters are still going to say that doesn’t prove anything! How was he supposed to know that guy was a Klansman? Or that time he was photographed shaking hands with most notorious Neo-Nazi leader in America, he of course didn’t know a thing about it.

Oh yeah, and the racist newsletters that were printed under his name for 10 years, many of which were written in first-person he also had nothing to do with. We’ll just chalk that up to a Jewish conspiracy!

But even you die hard “Paulnuts” have to admit that it’s a little strange that no other candidate seems to have his picture accidentally taken with Nazi’s, or accidentally hires Nazi’s, or has racist and bigoted newsletters penned under his name, or has Nazi’s show up at campaign rallies.

How long are you going to keep lying to yourselves? You thought he would be a good candidate at first and maybe you like some his ideas, but your being hoodwinked and it’s time to walk away.

Week after week the evidence of Ron Paul’s ties to right-wing extremists and hate groups continues to mount, and week after week you tell everyone to stop hatin’ on Ron Paul and you just sweep it under the rug. Wake up!

Ron Paul is my Congressman. He has been my Congressman for as long as I’ve known what a Congressman is. Like many of Paul’s constituents I didn’t really know much about him other than he was a Republican and a doctor.

It was not until Ron Paul decided to run for President in 2008, that I first began hearing his views. Suffice it say that I was not impressed and found the vast majority of his views to be naive, extreme, and at times completely ridiculous.

Every election has at least one crazy guy in it, but what I started noticing more were the types of people his campaign attracted.

Let’s just say they’re not the kind of supporters you would typically see for a Republican candidate, and frankly not the kind of people a Republican candidate would want support from.

His supporters are often times an odd mix of hippie-types, anti-war activists, communists, anarchists, Neo-Nazi groups, and a few 9/11 Truthers sprinkled in for good measure.

I have wondered for months what it was about Ron Paul that attracted such a repugnant group of supporters. I have asked aloud on this very blog for someone to please explain.

I listened to Ron Paul give numerous speeches and never heard anything that would be even remotely attractive to Nazi hate groups or “9/11 truthers.”

I’ve said on a number of occasions that these crazy people have to know something about Ron Paul that the rest of us don’t.

It turns out they did.
Thankfully, today I finally have my answer. The New Republic has tracked down Ron Paul’s newsletters going back a decade that at one time were quite popular among those who share his unique brand of “Conservatism.”

In the age before blogs, newsletters occupied a prominent place in right-wing political discourse. With the pages of mainstream political magazines typically off-limits to their views, hardline conservatives resorted to putting out their own, less glossy publications.

According to The National Review, Ron Paul’s newsletters were among the most popular during that time period.

What the newsletters reveal is a man consumed by racism, bigotry, and paranoia. After reading the newsletters it’s very easy to understand why Ron Paul attracts such loathsome supporters.

Here are some excerpts from various Ron Paul newsletters from 1978-1997. Be sure to check out the full story with even more excerpts at The New Republic.

Race:

“A Special Issue on Racial Terrorism” analyzes the Los Angeles riots of 1992: “Order was only restored in L.A. when it came time for the blacks to pick up their welfare checks three days after rioting began. … What if the checks had never arrived? No doubt the blacks would have fully privatized the welfare state through continued looting. But they were paid off and the violence subsided.”

The November 1990 issue of the Political Report had kind words for David Duke.

This newsletter describes Martin Luther King Jr. as “a world-class adulterer” who “seduced underage girls and boys” and “replaced the evil of forced segregation with the evil of forced integration.”

The January 1991 edition of the Political Report refers to King as a “world-class philanderer who beat up his paramours” and a “flagrant plagiarist with a phony doctorate.”

A February 1991 newsletter attacks “The X-Rated Martin Luther King.”

An October 1990 edition of the Political Report ridicules black activists, led by Al Sharpton, for demonstrating at the Statue of Liberty in favor of renaming New York City after Martin Luther King. The newsletter suggests that “Welfaria,” “Zooville,” “Rapetown,” “Dirtburg,” and “Lazyopolis” would be better alternatives–and says, “Next time, hold that demonstration at a food stamp bureau or a crack house.”

Gays:

In the course of defending homophobic comments by Andy Rooney of CBS, a 1990 newsletter notes that a reporter for a gay magazine “certainly had an axe to grind, and that’s not easy with a limp wrist.”

The June 1990 issue of the Political Report says: “I miss the closet. Homosexuals, not to speak of the rest of society, were far better off when social pressure forced them to hide their activities.”

From the August 1990 issue of the Political Report: “Bring Back the Closet!”

A January 1994 edition of the Survival Report states that “gays in San Francisco do not obey the dictates of good sense,” adding: “[T]hese men don’t really see a reason to live past their fifties. They are not married, they have no children, and their lives are centered on new sexual partners.” Also, “they enjoy the attention and pity that comes with being sick.”

Anti-Government Militias:

The November 1994 issue of the Survival Report celebrates anti-government militias.

The January 1995 issue of the Survival Report–released just three months before the Oklahoma City bombing–cites an anti-government militia’s advice to other militias, including, “Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.”

The October 1992 issue of the Political Report paraphrases an “ex-cop” who offers this strategy for protecting against “urban youth”: “If you have to use a gun on a youth, you should leave the scene immediately, disposing of the wiped off gun as soon as possible. Such a gun cannot, of course, be registered to you, but one bought privately (through the classifieds, for example).”

Conspiracies:

In an undated solicitation letter for The Ron Paul Investment Letter and the Ron Paul Political Report, Paul writes: “I’ve been told not to talk, but these stooges don’t scare me. Threats or no threats, I’ve laid bare the coming race war in our big cities. The federal-homosexual cover-up on AIDS (my training as a physician helps me see through this one.) The Bohemian Grove–perverted, pagan playground of the powerful. Skull & Bones: the demonic fraternity that includes George Bush and leftist Senator John Kerry, Congress’s Mr. New Money. The Israeli lobby, which plays Congress like a cheap harmonica.”

So basically what all this means is that Ron Paul is a Timothy McVee, anti-government, hate monger, rather than the elderly gentleman with libertarian views we’ve all been led to believe he is.

I was apparently wrong to give Paul the benefit of the doubt, when I posted pictures of him standing with notorious Neo-Nazi leader Don Black and his Nazi son.

Since the picture was taken at a campaign rally, I said it would be unfair for me to think he had any idea who he was having his picture taken with.

I have serious doubts at this point that it’s all a coincidence that Don Black, and various Ku Klux Klan organizations are Ron Paul donors, and he just mistakenly had his picture taken with Black.

The fact is that over the last 10 years, the various hate groups in this country have been undergoing a transformation. They’ve been trying to blend inconspicuously into society and keep there racist views largely hidden, enabling them to get people elected to office who can change America from within.

The Southern Poverty Law Center which tracks hate groups in America has a great deal of information regarding this transformation.

Whether or not Ron Paul’s intentions were aligned with these groups is debatable, but for whatever reason these groups believe Ron Paul share’s their twisted vision.

In short, this is some scary sh*t.

I wonder when the Ron Paul supporters better known as the “Paulnuts” are going to realize there candidate has no chance in hell of becoming President?

I guess they really believe the “vote for Ron Paul or we’ll hunt you down and kill you” message is one that resonates with voters. Ron Paul and his merry band of outcasts and social rejects want your vote and if your not gonna give it, well f*ck you then.

The Hot Joints does not endorse candidates, but we have decided to make an exception and say that we absolutely do not endorse Ron Paul.

Furthermore, we think Ron Paul is a radical old kook whose supporters are a national embarrassment and truly represent the very worst of America.

Take a look at these very disturbing pictures of Ron Paul at the Value Voters Conference in Florida. He’s having his picture taken with notorious white supremacist and Stormfront.org owner Don Black and his little Nazi son.

Don Black’s son is the one in the hat who looks like he stepped out of the horror movie “Children of The Corn.”

I’m not going to pretend that Ron Paul knew who he was having his picture taken with, but as I’ve pointed out on this site before, the man has an uncanny ability to attract the most undesirable people in America.

I’ve listened to Ron Paul’s speeches on a number of occasions and I just don’t get why all these repugnant groups love him so much.

That must mean that these kooks know something about Ron Paul that the rest of us do not, and that’s disturbing to say the least. Ron Paul rallies always have communists, 9/11 truthers, anarchists, Nazis, and general anti-government types, in addition to your average voter.

I’m not talking about the “small-government” types, I’m talking about the overthrow the government Timothy McVeigh types.

I think the Feds need to find out if Ron Paul is communicating by secret code to the idiots of America, while talking normally (well maybe not normally) to the rest of us.

Ron Paul is actually my Congressman and the people in my district including myself had no idea what a nut he actually is. Not only will he not be elected President, but he’s gonna get booted from office in a landslide next election.

The only reason he’s a ten term congressman is because he’s been cruising under the radar all these years, but now that his views are known in the community he won’t be enjoying an eleventh term. Not in this district anyway.

Called a “Money Bomb,” the goal was to raise as much money as possible on the Internet in one day. The campaign’s previous fundraiser brought in $4.2 million.

The “Paulnuts” are definitely a loyal bunch! The amount of money he’s been able to raise has been undoubtedly impressive. I would have to give them a solid A for effort, but Ron Paul is still NEVER EVER going to President.

They’re seizing on the 234th aniversary of the Boston Tea Party and converging on the city to rally.

They plan on gathering on the State House steps at 1 p.m. and parading down to Faneuil Hall, where they will listen to speeches in tune with Paul’s libertarian platform. Speakers will include the Republican presidential candidate’s son, Dr. Rand Paul, an eye surgeon, and Carla Howell, the libertarian who ran unsuccessfully for governor in 2002.
