Olbermann At World Series…With Sean Hannity
If this doesn’t make you cynical about cable news feuds — nothing will. Click over and check out the next to the last picture.

Dick Cheney Moving To Declassify Reports Showing Success Of Interrogation Program
Former Vice President Dick Cheney will appear on “Hannity” tonight where he is expected to tell Sean the following:
“One of the things that I find a little bit disturbing about this recent disclosure is they put out the legal memos, the memos that the CIA got from the Office of Legal Counsel, but they didn’t put out the memos that showed the success of the effort. And there are reports that show specifically what we gained as a result of this activity. They have not been declassified.”
“I formally asked that they be declassified now. I haven’t announced this up until now, I haven’t talked about it, but I know specifically of reports that I read, that I saw that lay out what we learned through the interrogation process and what the consequences were for the country.”
“And I’ve now formally asked the CIA to take steps to declassify those memos so we can lay them out there and the American people have a chance to see what we obtained and what we learned and how good the intelligence was, as well as to see this debate over the legal opinions.”
This is just too awesome. The Obama administration released those documents in an attempt to further discredit and smear the Bush administration at the expense of our national security. It’s gonna be a beautiful day for America when the “torture” cry-babies are exposed as the left-wing pussies they are. Everyone involved in the interrogation programs says it was a success, now it’s time to lay it out.

Video: Andrew Breitbart Talks Political Correctness With Sean Hannity
Breitbart is dead on with his analysis on this. We have a bunch of politically correct apologists running the country who actually believe that making up new names for things is somehow going to make our enemies like us. What it really does is show us to be a bunch of chickenshit pussies like Europe who are willing to concede anything to keep the peace.
Greta Van Susteren Spots Hannity Carrying Ladder For Unknown Reasons
I don’t know why, but I love odd little snippets of strange like this. Fox News’s Greta Van Susteren snapped this quick cell phone pick last night. Greta was working quietly in her studio when she suddenly heard a noise behind her and turned to see none other than Sean Hannity carrying a ladder — for reasons unknown.

Democrats Misquote Rush Limbaugh Then Launch Petition Against Him
Democrats can’t stop crying about a supposedly horrible comment Rush Limbaugh made about Barack Obama during an interview on Sean Hannity’s show a couple of nights ago. The liberal media was quick to seize upon a 19 second soundbite in which Rush tells Hannity he wants Obama to fail.
The problem is that as usual the liberal media is lying. What Rush actually said was he wanted America to succeed, but if Barack Obama intends on turning America into a socialist paradise then he wants him to fail.
Now the Democratic National Campaign committee has even launched a petition against Rush for making comments that were misquoted to begin with.
Here’s the entire interview in two parts:
Hannity Goes Solo Starting Jan 12

Fox News has announced that no one will be replacing Alan Colmes on Hannity & Colmes. Instead, Fox plans to debut a brand new show on Jan. 12th called ‘Hannity’ with of course — Sean Hannity as the host.
However, it’s not just going to be a solid hour of right-wing bloviating like some feared:
“Hannity” will include a “Great American Panel” of three nightly in studio guests — a liberal, a conservative and an “X factor.” The show will mix commentary, interviews and special segment like a “Hate Hannity Hotline.”
This is the first time in FNC’s 12-year history it will alter programming at the 9pmET timeslot.
That actually sounds like it’s gonna be a pretty good show. Instead of the same liberal every night, he’ll be mixing it up with a variety of left-wingers. The Hate Hannity Hotline should be interesting as well.

Alan Colmes Is Leaving “Hannity & Colmes”

HuffPo is reporting that Alan Colmes will be leaving Hannity & Colmes at the end of the year. Colmes says he will remain with Fox News as a liberal commentator, and will soon unveil his own weekend program on the channel. In addition, Alan will continue hosting his radio program on Fox News Radio.
“I approached Bill Shine (FNC’s Senior Vice President of Programming)
earlier this year about wanting to move on after 12 years to develop
new and challenging ways to contribute to the growth of the network,”
Colmes said. “Although it’s bittersweet to leave one of the longest
marriages on cable news, I’m proud that both Sean (Hannity) and I
remained unharmed after sitting side by side, night after night for so
many years.”
Sean Hannity had this to say about the split:
“Not only has Alan been a remarkable co-host, he’s been a great friend
which is rare in this industry — I’ll genuinely miss sparring with
such a skillful debate partner.”
Now the big question is who will replace Alan as the liberal half of Hannity & Colmes? It will be interesting to see if they choose someone from within Fox like Lanny Davis or Howard Wolfson, or if they plan to bring in new talent.
Even though I rarely agree with Alan, I think his part of the show is very important. I’m a big Hannity fan, but Sean has to have someone on the show to counter him. A little Hannity can go a long way depending on the topic being discussed. I’d like to see someone who’s as equally fierce an advocate from the left as Sean is from the right.
What makes Fox News the best cable news channel on television is the fact that you really do get to hear both sides. Unlike liberals, I actually enjoy hearing views I disagree with. Debate is a healthy thing. Debate is something you will never see on MSNBC. Unless it’s a debate between Matthews and Olbermann over who loves Barack Obama more.

NYT Attacks Hannity, Forgets About Olbermann
The NYT is upset that Sean Hannity did a special over the weekend that focused on Obama’s radical associations. The Times is angry because it was an overly partisan presentation that lacked any opposing point of view.
The odd thing is that Keith Olbermann NEVER has an opposing viewpoint on his show. He brings in the same bunch of left-wing ‘yes men’ to nod in agreement with him night after night.

Sean Hannity regularly appears with his liberal co-host Alan Colmes during the week, but on weekends he hosts “Hannity’s America” alone and the Obama special was part of that.
So what then is Olbermann’s excuse for never allowing anyone with even the slightest inkling of disagreement with him appear on his show.
Judging from the above list, the NYT has another article it needs to write, but I’m not holding my breath.
In fact it was only a couple of months ago that Olbermann’s favorite poodle Dana Milbank wrote a piece in the Washington Post critical of Barack Obama, and was immediately axed from appearing on ‘Countdown’ ever again.
Milbank said at the time that he simply accepted a new contract with CNN, but later added “It’s just that CNN’s a better fit for me and my philosophy of holding all parties to account.”
