Obama’s favorite union is once again up to no good.

Politico  — The Service Employees International Union, a political powerhouse on the Democratic side, made its early endorsement of Barack Obama yesterday; today, its president Mary Kay Henry is in New York for an Occupy demonstration on the Brooklyn Bridge.

With Obama and Democrats trying to benefit from the energy of the Occupy movement while keeping it at arm’s length, I asked her how those two things go together.

“There’s an economic emergency in this country and both things are required in order to turn this country around for working people,” Henry said. “The president has been fighting for American families by introducing the American Jobs Act. The Occupy Wall Street movement has made an incredible case to the country about this gross economic inequality. These two movements work together incredibly well.”

Henry said she wasn’t sure where the Occupy movement will go from here, but said SEIU will support it.

“I’m really confident that the local control, local decision making is going to create a new path for the next phase of the Occupy movement,” she said. “We will support whatever the decision making is inside of the movement.”

I don’t get the connection between being upset at Wall Street and preventing thousands of New Yorkers from getting to work. But that’s probably because there is no connection. This “Occupy” crap is about hard left rabble rousers trying to destroy America.

Take a look at this pack of greedy union bosses admitting that they ignore US law and sovereignty through the international labor movement. If you recall, I posted a clip last year of Dick Trumka talking about his work with European socialists.

You really have to laugh at this. Does Obama really think the American people are this freaking dumb? The president appointed a big labor zealot and former SEIU official to oversee union corruption at the Department of Labor. His first act was to cut the number of investigators. Golly gee, I’ll bet he uncovers all kinds of union corruption. This entire administration operates as one big stooge for organized labor. The idea that unions are going to be investigated at all is laughable, but to think this union goon is gonna do the investigating is even funnier.

The result of John Lund’s systematic roll back of union regulations and farcical oversight of corruption is obvious. It will mean a return to the days of mafia control over labor unions. But maybe this time when it all comes crashing down and people go to prison it will finally end organized labor in America. That’s something we can all hope for.

Thugs from the SEIU stormed into a bank headquarters and temporarily took control of the lobby. The union thugs were there because the bank’s CEO is also chairman of the board of a hospital that SEIU is under labor negotiations with. So the union dispatched its thugs to intimidate him at the business he owns.

This is the best footage I’ve seen all week. Andrew Breitbart gets these astro turf union hacks on the run. We’ve seen raw footage of this before, but this is the HQ footage. These union sheeple didn’t know what hit them when Breitbart started challenging them. The real irony is when a “stop the hate” protester hurls a gay slur at Andrew. I guess she only wanted the “hate” briefly put on hold.

This is great. This woman is using the same tactics SEIU uses against people. The woman’s beef is SEIU’s boycott of Arizona over their illegal immigration bill. “Look at these union fat cats!”

Kyle Olson over at Big Government is calling for congress to abolish Labor Day. He says the reasons behind creating Labor Day back in the 1800s no longer apply. I think he’s right. Unions were originally created to protect workers from unscrupulous and abusive employers, but now it’s the people who need protection from unions.

I would like to bust up all the unions and deal a final death blow to organized labor. If we can elect a conservative in the next presidential election, he/she should aggressively go after big labor.

We all know why big labor loves illegal immigration, but back in January an SEIU exec finally admitted it.

Michelle Malkin has been doing some excellent reporting on Big Labor and what they’re up to behind the scenes. She predicted after Andy Stern’s resignation as head of SEIU that the purple shirted thugs may try and team up with the AFL-CIO and pool their resources to help democrats.

She predicted right:

The leaders of the AFL-CIO and the Service Employees International Union have agreed to coordinate spending millions of dollars in the midterm elections to support pro-union candidates, most of them Democrats.

The two labor organizations say they have a combined $88 million or more to deploy in this year’s election cycle. It’s not clear how much of that money they will pool together.

The renewed alliance between the two big labor groups comes as Democrats are battling to retain control of both houses of Congress. The AFL-CIO and SEIU plan to target elections in 26 states, all but five of which they consider battleground territory, including California, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Ohio.

But the Big Labor thuggery doesn’t stop there. The AFL-CIO is also teaming up with the Marxist group People’s World for a joint get-out-the-vote effort.
