Fox News anchor Shepard Smith described in vivid detail the lavish lunch he had at The White House today. It’s customary for the WH to invite reporters covering the SOTU over for lunch. Shep has been invited several years in a row.

Personally, I was checking out that Apple Macbook Pro on Shep’s desk. It looks like the 15.4″ model. A fine choice. If only Greta would toss that hideous Dell she uses on her show and get a MB Pro all would be right with the world.

Fox News’s Shepard Smith got misty eyed today after Congress finally passed a bill to pay health care costs of 9/11 first responders who are now ill.

I do a lot of ranting on this site about spending and intrusive big government programs. But this is one bill I fully support. Some Republicans refused to support the bill unless we found a way to pay for the $7 billion price tag. I say damn the cost. We borrow money for phony causes like “global warming” so we should just suck it up and pay for this. At least it’s a worthwhile cause.

Many 9/11 first responders are now dead as a result of carcinogens and poisons they inhaled at Ground Zero. Men in their early 30s at the time died a gruesome death because their lungs simply stopped holding air. Dr. Michael Baden did autopsies on some of the men to determine if 9/11 was the cause of their illness. He found that it was. He showed lung x-rays from now deceased first responders that were shocking. Tiny pieces of fiber glass, concrete, and other substances were buried in the lining of the lungs like bomb shrapnel. It turned them into Swiss cheese.

Other first responders are dying from various types of cancer due to prolonged exposure to toxic chemicals and poisons.We have a responsibility to take care of these people and do whatever we can to help them. Taking care of them should be as important as taking care of wounded soldiers.

Shepard Smith got the opportunity to grill TSA chief John Pistole about the allegations of “junk touching” at America’s airports.

Here’s an interview Shep Smith did with Leigh Ann Tuohy. She is the woman Sandra Bullock won an Oscar for portraying in “The Blind Side.” Bullock did an amazing job and the Tuohy family are real life heroes. If you haven’t seen “The Blind Side” you’re missing out.

That’s just Shep being Shep. Although, it’s odd how he suddenly turns from the straight news guy on FNC to a pundit.

Normally the only thing directed towards Fox News by television media, print media, online media, or any other media are smears and attack pieces.

Recently however, the liberal media has found a Fox News hero and it’s Shepard Smith.

Comments he’s made over the last year or so and as recently as last week have earned him numerous glowing reviews in the NY Times, Esquire, and other liberal venues.

Liberals have love for Smith because some of his comments have been perceived as being antagonistic towards conservatives.

The truth is that Shepard Smith has more credibility in a single strand of his perfectly quaffed hair than Brian Williams has in his entire body.

What the left quickly forgets is that Shepard Smith has a history of incensing people on both sides of the aisle.

Here’s one of my personal favorite Shep clips. It’s from February of last year, and Smith rips into radical leftist kook Naomi Wolf.

Wolf is the author of possibly the craziest left-wing conspiracy book ever written called “The End Of America.”

Hey, what happened? I thought Shepard was a tool of the left? I thought he was all about attacking right-wingers? What the hell is going on in this crazy world?

Shepard Smith has a habit of dropping little tiny stink bomb every once in a while to let people know he’s a liberal. Take a look at Shepard’s latest left-wing rant, which is his most animated to date and comes complete with full throated F-bomb.

Even though I find Shep’s occasional left-wing diatribes mildly annoying, he’s one of the fairest reporters on TV and deserves credit for that.
